      @@vexomnight3079 I saw the scream first. That was my exposure to the show. Then I watched the whole shit leading up to it.
      Ugh. That scream still messes with me. And the way they shoot the lights going out? Feels just like a creepy surreal nightmare.

      It could be because she just acted a scene forwards. The action was to take the mask off, maybe she's unaware that they can edit the audio and video separately? Either way, it got a chuckle out of me

      I think it might be as another commentator suggested, she says "on top of the lines backwards?" So it might have been an on the spot change by Lynch that was pushing an already challenging scene.

      Her voice always seemed to drop several octaves during the Lodge scenes. She used her real voice for Laura Palmer and Maddie Ferguson.

      @@mmrrccll8240 They would pronounce sentences backwards. Then edit the footage backwards so it has a feeling of being backwards when now they're fully speaking it.
      So I say, "Let's rock!"
      I'd say it like "Kor stel" in the lodge.

      Rpm that’s how they did it in S3, too. Nothing’s changed about the method of filming those scenes. I think people are just overthinking Sheryl’s reaction - it’s quite a challenge to remember the phonetics of a backwards line, on top of ensuring you’re in character, on top of also acting backwards with your body. She was most likely just like okay... this is a lot of remember.
