I know this is a very old video, but I’m considering one of these knives and I wanted the warlock but I’ve been second guessing myself thinking it’s going to be huge in my pocket, the Phoenix seems alittle more sleeker and slimmer, have you noticed a difference between the two?
Satis Faction that's complicated by most definitions of gravity knife the blade will fall into the locked position using a button lever latch excetera this knife requires you to press 2 buttons while with a wrist action so with the California state definition no technically no however I don't know if an officer on the street will see it the same way (I'm pretty sure a judge would have though) but laws vary state-to-state as well as definitions of gravity knife it all depends on that
Got it today. Very nice looking blade. Definitely needs a break, trying to actuate it is fairly stiff. Blade doesn't drop with turning it down. Its like the first 20-30 degrees of the knife leaving the handle there is stiffness/resistance.
Its S90V blade material. Which has its own pros and cons. More susceptible to chipping. The sorcerer cut on the blade gives it a really nice look against the red blade as well. Actuating it several times has gotten the oil moved around. So its moving more freely now. The edge on it is sharp, but it could be sharper.
I think he was talking about the laser engrave phoenix on the handle, but yes they do have versions with a blue and red blade with matching color buttons. (as of this moment the color blades are only available with a death skull decal not the laser engrave phoenix)
I have a paragon warlock with the sorcerer grind it's sick a knife in its own class but do you know if they are midtechs or are they just full production knives I can't find any info on it. Also the one I have has the. Cts40cp blade steel and it is wicked holds a mean edge and keeps it
Jason Stein I would consider them high end, low production, knives they are full production knives but Asheville Steel a small company with comparatively low production numbers so they can be hard to find CTS-40cp is a good Steel Carpenters equivalent to AISI's 440c but much cleaner and more consistent definitely a nice high-carbon stainless steel
Do the handles have any wobble for you? I bought a Phoenix not long ago and the handles move back and forth with a slight blade rattle. Do I just need to tighten it back down?
Hunter Peterson no a little bit of play in the handles is normal only having one connection point at the top of the knife let's the rest of the handles move if the handles contact the blade when closed that's a problem but a little bit of handle wobble and or blade play is normal
RedneckNinja the Warlock would probably not perform the best EDC the dagger blade can be hazardous there's not enough belly on the blades the Phoenix on the other hand would do very well as well as the X5 both knives really have the same drawbacks they're large possibly intimidating and both open aggressively if that's not an issue (for me not) I think both would perform very well the Phoenix has a compound grind leading to the hollow ground section slicing much easier boxes fruit ex. but the X5 has a longer Cutting Edge and more robust tip which may be important for EDC but the pointyness of the Phoenix does make piercing material easier both definitely nice knives personally would go with the Phoenix it's just a much funner knife
+Lugermonger alright thanks man. I've been using a cheaper knife for a while as an edc for yard work, working on my truck and random times when I'm at my fire station
wat category of knife is this. would you give this to a 10 year old? will you open it and give it to someone. or will you never give it to anyone accept knife people.
I have a question. How do you make your money? What job do you have (if you do) outside of youtube? If you do have an outside job could you please make a video about it and about your salary? I would greatly appreciate it.
*Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis* honestly I don't know gravity knives and switchblades are illegal in Australia and some states consider the Warlock a gravity knife but some states in the u.s. don't so I think it depends on how they classify it gravity knife or not
Lugermonger I have two switchblade style assisted openers. (They open from a spur on the blade, not a button so they're not technically switchblades.) check the police website, I'm not sure of what it's classified as.
*Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanokoniosis* I would bet there legal it says any knife that uses centrifical force or gravity specifically and doesn't reference the method of deployment as many other laws do this knife gets away with it in some states because you have to depress two buttons to deploy the blade but they specifically state centrifical Force which is necessary for the Warlock so I would think they're illegal
Who needs fidget spinners when you can get one of these.
I'd agree if this was a balisong video
Fidget spinner fidget spinner
Perfect for taking to school
Damn we're spoiled. Two videos within 3 hours of each other? I dig it.
I've been looking at Paragon ERTs. Do you have any of their push button autos?
hashbrown haha I love how every video he makes always is good or better than good.
The Phoenix is cool but i still like The warlock better.
I really like the look of the Dred lock over the Phoenix. It's got an Emerson tattoo style blade & looks sick.

i just fucking love the look on the warlock
I've watched this video like 4 times already. This is just like the Phoenix video.
first saw this vid and loved the phoenix when it came out and i just now finally ordered one
Where did you order it from?
@@DrLandsharkII bladehq
My Phoenix is coming in the mail Friday. I'm so excited. I loved the warlock and the Phoenix will be better i hope
so, are they considered as a gravity knife?
it doesn't use springs or anything automatically
and are they legal in all states in America?
nineteen twenty four Moore no it is marketed as a manual action folder not a gravity knife or automatic
Cory T I'm honestly not sure they are sold in the states as a manual action folder I've got to do some research and find out what Canada considers it
A prosecutor can make the justification it is a gravity knife. Since it is not a automatic, they probably wouldn't care.
That's a Gravity Knife right?
Satis Faction that's complicated by most definitions of gravity knife the blade will fall into the locked position using a button lever latch excetera this knife requires you to press 2 buttons while with a wrist action so with the California state definition no technically no however I don't know if an officer on the street will see it the same way (I'm pretty sure a judge would have though) but laws vary state-to-state as well as definitions of gravity knife it all depends on that
@@Lugermonger35 illegal in illinois because of the button, spring or not... It has a button. Also because it's longer than 3" blade.
Look at all these great knives I can't have ^^ Gotta love german laws
Yo sick pfp my guy, MHW is so fucking cool
non locking blades is genuinely autistic. I’m sorry you live in a cowardly country nowadays.
@Lugermonger - that's definitely point of preference, I think the Phoenix sounds way cooler 😎
Just ordered the Red Sorcerer Warlock. Cant wait!
Kaulder that's dope let me know what you think when you get it I'd be curious to hear

I'm getting the Phoenix now
The sound is the knife version of the pump of a shotgun
I'm 14 and have a collection of knifes that are rather cheap would you say saving up for the Phoenix would be worth it as a bigger buy
Same age as you right now and I’m 5 years late, but I wouldn’t.
I know this is very old.......on their website. ''currently OUT of stock
It's the 50cal of the knife world
If only they could pain the phoenix(like flaming red or something), I order mine anyway, still on the way.
Ruji Yu They have the blade on the Phoenix in blue and red
I think he was talking about the laser engrave phoenix on the handle, but yes they do have versions with a blue and red blade with matching color buttons. (as of this moment the color blades are only available with a death skull decal not the laser engrave phoenix)
Ruji Yu right that would be sick as s***
I only looked up this video for the sound it makes

Lugermonger ok. Thanks man I was just curious
Would this be legal to carry in California? I feel like its in the gray area of the law. Asking because I want to be sure.
KAPOWxx theres no spring, so I would assume its not considered a grivity knife, but I would definitely check rather than taking my word for it
It's cause you have wear on the warlock and the Phoenix is new.
I was wondering which one would you say is a better EDC, the Hogue X5 or one of these knives?

I dig both
Dubglock23 I really do too Paragon is doing some cool s***
I want both!

how that knife opens and triggers the microphone’s gate on the camera.

He has said in previous videos that he is a dog handler I believe
I Stole Your Bagel Ok thanks
Would these knifes be illegal in Canada?
Cory T the single edged one is fine not the double edged one
Cory T it's illegal in taxas what I thought they would care I still checked the law tho check out your law
i just hate you luger i want one of these knife so bad and you have both.. just kidding your vids are really good
I would buy these, but I need the money for tools
Why do some of them have that weird grinded
on pattern on the blade?
Its the design of the blade in which you choose! They have many designs.
Even though it's too long to be carried in my state I could see this being titled as a gravity knife by someone like a officer
HalfBit360 I do still advicate this is a manual action folder but I definitely agree with you
Got any Mikovs?
Is the Phoenix legal in the uk?
Yes I believe it falls under gravity knife in the UK
does someone know where to find these knive? they are out of stock everywhere..
Cosme SIMON Blade HQ has 1 phoenix in stock now Black Blade skull decal and CFOknives should still have a couple
Lugermonger yes but i really dont like this model.. thanks anyway!
Cosme SIMON I feel you it's a bit over the top they are making more as we speak though should be available again soon
Lugermonger they're making more of the warlock!?
Not legal in Canada I'm guessing 😕
Is breathing oxygen even legal up there?
