I watched an Adam Ragusea video a long time ago about browning meat. He said to go past the gray stage end into the actual brown stage. All the liquid you have to drain boils off and you’re left with pure beef fat and that’s what you start cooking veggies in. It is an absolute game changing technique. Everything just tastes more.
Just a tip. Most of what you saved was water in the foil. You need to boil the water off and get a good brown going. Then you can save that grease, and your chilli will be better
I respect that you always leave the seeds when you use hot peppers. So many cooks always say to remove the seeds, and doing so removes the exact reason why you add them in the first place.
It's more consistent for flavor to discard seeds (one reason it's done like that is restaurants). Heat from the seeds varies drastically even with peppers from the same plant. I like the seed heat though so I totally understand your point.
Tip for ground beef. Spread the thawed beef in an even layer on a cold pan. Turn the heat on high. And let the beef brown. Once the beef is cooked if there's still a Lot of liquid in the Pan. Most of it is just water, so you can just boil it off if you let it cook enough. You can listen to The Sound of the Pan. You'll notice that When the water evaporates. The Pan will start to make a roaring noise. Then you can brown your beef, and it'll have much more flavor.
Also that is waaaaaaaaaaay over seasoned. 7 grams of salt in a short period can really fuck you up and it's not that much. Same with Dan O's every time he pumps like a half cup of seasoning on a patty lmao
Put that hot dog chill onto some nachos and put some grated cheese 🧀 man that would be great. Plus put it on some foot long hot dogs and fries. Even better ❤😮😊.
Tortilla chips with some refried beans, this hot dog sauce, grated cheddar-jack, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, and sour cream. And a nice pitcher of beer. Sit and watch the game.
Lord Don't toss out that beef grease. Save it to cook your fried taters in. Makes the best fried taters you ever stuck in yer mouth I accumulate it in a clean jar off to the side
Chili dog chili?? Nah my guy, that’s the main course right there!! That looks delicious!! Cheers!! ps I subscribed at “Texas Trinity”. -Much love from Georgia!
I almost commented something stupid cause I didn’t watch the whole vid 😂 u did a great job w this one keep er goin there brother u gone make meemaw proud the more delicious Texan cuisine u show to the world 😎👍
This looks really good. Bit id have to cook the onions, then spices, then the tomatoe paste, then add back in the mince. And go from there. Actually just before the the mince meat goes back in id de glase the pan with a glass of red wins, boil it off then go from there.
Have you ever tried "tiger sauce"? It makes the consistency of your sauce really smooth and adds a little heat. Put maybe a fourth of a bottle in a batch that size. Walmart carries it and our local grocery store carries it also. Let me know how you like it. Try it instead of your wooster sister sauce or whatever that is.

Do you have a website for your sauces thanks
@grahambroderick8183 just be an adult and figure it out.
@@grahambroderick8183 Maybe able to make sauce but failed at browning beef. Your comment is irrelevant.
I thought he missed pronounce Worcestershire sauce only to realize he has a sauce called worshyoursister sauce. Amazing comedy right there.
It's pronounced just Worcester (woosta) sauce in the UK. IE where it's from.
@@DBriddotake a second watch of the video and look at the bottle

This dude is king of making meals that could feed a small village
My thought exactly, that's a battalion meal right there.
I cook for 6 adults and it's like that everyday. Probably go through $600 worth of beef and animal products alone.
That's something I would make and freeze the majority for the winter. That's a good base for many different meals.
Doesn't rock that Shape eating crackers 😂
That looks pretty good🤤🤓 now I’m hungry again
That looks and sounds wonderful!! Love your recipes!!❤
I respect that you always leave the seeds when you use hot peppers. So many cooks always say to remove the seeds, and doing so removes the exact reason why you add them in the first place.
Chili peppers are added for flavor and/or heat. Some people can't medically handle or don't enjoy the heat and leave that component out
It's more consistent for flavor to discard seeds (one reason it's done like that is restaurants). Heat from the seeds varies drastically even with peppers from the same plant. I like the seed heat though so I totally understand your point.
The seeds don't contain any capsaicin
Thank You!!! All the experts blame the heat on seeds but...no capsaicin! Cooks really need to take note!
@@joshuaallgood4165This is just one of those things that will never be corrected in the minds of the majority lol
“160 oz of worshyoursistersauce, 32 oz of your zippy zap, and 16 oz of your flim flam to warsh it all down.” 😂
You don't want no flim flam..
And don't forget the jarlick!! 😂😂😂🧄
Yeehaw!
If mr hill had a cooking show 😂 i cant focus on the recipe with his voice. 😂.

WOW, that looks so good!
Maybe unpopular, I love kidney beans in my chili. Just adds a different texture and some fiber. Pour on a bag of Frito’s , it’s a party 🎉
I agree!
Same here.. good eating 👍
I don't care about the texture with the musical fruit but i do enjoy the sound effects 🤣
If eating chili on its own beans are ok, but I don’t like them in my hotdog chili
No beans in texas chili.
