Nice review keep up the good work fellas
And with today's prices, all you have to do is take a second mortage on your house! I bought a Ram 1500 (granted $13K off MSRP because of the car and housing market crash) in 2009, but I remember it being a way smaller portion of my salary than it is today. Its like my salary barely changed, but the trucks are twice as expensive.
i hear ya...good point!!!! have a safe day
Happy to see that Ram didnt bastardize the Limited trim to make room for the Tungsten. Obviously Ram is chasing luxury in a big way, offering 3 luxury trims, and they've been successful at it.
I really love they carried the Night package forward as well. This was a worthy update for sure!
I have a 19 Limited and i LOVE it. I'll never have anything but a RAM
@Brian_Eugene_Lee I'm looking forward to how the electric truck will be. It's interesting to me
1500 limited 2024 ✋
2023 Limited and I love it!! I wish I would have gotten the barn door tailgate but oh well.
I got the 22' Laramie Sport in white. Stormtrooper spec
@@mrrogerstown2435 hell yea. I bet that's sweet
You mentioned that "really, none of the competition has that" in reference to the RAM boxes. It's worth pointing out that the Nissan Titan is available with Titan boxes. Unlike, the RAM boxes, the Titan boxes are removable if you need access to the full capacity of the bed. Further, you don't have to deal with corrosion or paint issues with the Titan boxes like you do with the RAM boxes. One mark against the Titan boxes, though, is that they have a wheel-well bulge in the bottom, unlike the RAM boxes which have a flat bottom. Ultimately, the RAM boxes are better for maximum storage capacity while the Titan boxes are better for versatility and durability.
Great video as always!
Only 1% of buyers can actually afford these. Sad times we are in. In 4 years that long Horn will start at 80k.
To purchase new, but same limited will trade at 50k used and resell at 72k will new limited will then be 92k. Smh. Keep and repair
Not true the top 3% will be able to afford it! I am on the lower 50% so I have to settle for under 45000 so that puts me in the midsized trucks now! But buy ram forever
These go for 20k under msrp every year. So this will be basically loaded for $56k. Not that crazy.
I got a 2020 which is new to me still have the new tech and the hemi. I came from a 2002 ram which I still have just love the ram
It's crazy how it's still a revelation to people that things always get more expensive. So, u mean like always?
I am so glad that you pointed out that not all of the 2025 Ram 1500s have the ugly oversized "R A M" letters on the tailgate! If one hates that look, the multi-function tailgate option sports the handsome Ram's head logo. HOORAY!!!!!!
I personally like this trim more than the tungsten I hope the ramcharger carries a similar black interior on the limited version
Thank you for reviewing the Limited trim!!!
N is the titan a good truck would you put it on par what the ram
It should also have a power adjust steering at that price. Especially in those higher trim levels!
Great video of the 2025 Ram 1500 Limited!!!! Great job guys!!!!
I absolutely love the 2025. I currently own the 2020 model that's loaded up. Would love to get the 2025 version and possibly look into the top dawg Tungsten model.
Hey Paul!
So, I haven’t gotten through this video yet but have watched others regarding the options & I have the 21’ Limited with every option and I feel like the newer models are actually a downgrade.
Can you list some of your favorite upgrades in the 25’s that do not come in the 20’s and 21’s ?
Thanks!
Excellent video guys.
Excellent video!😸
You need to be making $300,000 or more a year to buy something like this.. absolutely crazy
Go out and make more money then and STOP complaining like a little girl 😂✌🏻
Naw, I’ll trade my 2022 in and get 50k for it then get 15k off the 2025 and will be a 15k difference
Lol cope harder
No way in hell will that be 15000 dollar difference how you getting 15k off employees don't get that much
Beautiful truck, but I think I’ll stick with my 2019 Limited for now, these new truck prices are ridiculous!!!!
I'm glad I just grabbed a '23 Limited Elite. It was marked down $17k.
EPA Gas mileage on the HO Hurricane isn't great and will be much worse in the real world. The Hemi was fast enough, 540hp is overkill. Ram should offer the SO Hurricane as standard on the Limited and make the HO optional.
And all for the low low price of your first born 💀
It’s too expensive. If I were to buy I’d wait until discounts. Otherwise beautiful truck
Maybe it's just me, but surprised you didn't highlight Ram has FINALLY introduced a dead pedal into their truck line-up.
That's so competitively overdue and wonderful to see.
I loved the color though & can't wait to buy it.
Hey, isn’t this Tim’s truck but in Limited vs. his order of Big Horn.
I have a question for you how about comparing the new taco to the new frontier in Bose as will mid - grade
I couldn't afford a limited edition so I just bought a used 2021 laramie night edition these new truck prices are outrageous man 🤦🏿♂️
It’s very nice! I can’t wait to see the electric one, I love the ram tungsten
My opinion is, the tv sized infotainment screen is stupid. Everyone is doing it.
The online builder for the Laramie doesn't allow you to option in the HO engine. I hope this becomes available by the time I'm ready to trade in my 2019. I will skip the sunroof next time, because it causes the interior to be a beast to keep cool down here in the south, and I rarely even use it.
What's the song u are playing?
Not even a basic sunroof on a limited Trim? That's madness
For 78k, they should include the panorama sunroof. Then, I will definitely consider buying it.
can you get the night vision feature on the ram thats on the jeep grand wagoneer?
The configurator does not show it
Nice truck.
Name of intro music?
The last Ram I owned was a 2001 and still shared the Dodge brand. It had the tried and true Dodge 318ci engine and a five speed trans. It was a beautiful flame red short bed Sport Off Road with a factory lift kit. For some strange reason I stupidly traded it in 2010 for a Jeep Wrangler which to this day regret. IMO this was the last generation of the great Dodge trucks. Over the years I owned eight of them. Some Power Wagons and some Rams. Some used and some new but all were basic hard working, dependable, working man's reasonably priced trucks.
I prefer the Limited in the 6'4" box, but the RamBox isn't available with that length.
This ram HO 1500 output is rated at 15 city 21 highway and 17 combined by epa
Output?
Well worth the trade for 540hp.
@@kevincinnamontoast3669high output
Why do you need 540 horse in a pick up
Why no more e torque? What are they using for start stop?
Wasn't mentioned, but could see in the footage, still half screen for android auto on Uconnect?
That is on my list the options and that Delmonico Red color with the long bed, it just looks way better than a short bed configuration, but what is the sticker price or invoice price on this truck you are reviewing?
With the options this one had, I have configured one similar that sits at $88k. The configurator and sticker weren’t provided at time of filming.
I have a 21 Laramie and I love it but I cant wait for these to hit the dealers so I can test drive the new 25s ...Who knows..... if the numbers look right Ill upgrade.
Always had that hood
Thank you for a great video. Too bad not much changed other than the engine.
The hurricane engine does sound like the BMW M340i❤❤❤
It has a 6 cylinder... No way
Extremely disappointed with Ram for axing the Hemi. I will be going over to GMC when the lease on my ‘22 Laramie is up!
Epa credits
@@843MudMafia.can all be reversed.
Crazy wild price
2025 Ram 1500 Limited 3.0L Hurricane Twin-Turbo High Output Inline-6 8-Speed Automatic Night Edition Crew Cab Long Bed 4X4!
100 k I bet
That truck in Australia , if it ever comes out here , will be in the vicinity of $180000
The fender trim is the same as the fender. Pay attention GMC…attention to detail !!!
Its insane that the Ultimate still comes with the cheap plastic fender flares. Cheapens an otherwise handsome truck
@@hellkitty1014no way love mine. Have you seen it without. It’s rust waiting to happen. I’ll take my flares
WOW on the price, i have a 2023 1500 classic Warlock quad cab and 6 ft 4 bed, 3.6 with several options, it was almost 53 and i got it for 42,800. It's paid for but at 6000 miles i got rear-ended, 6 grand in damage, no frame damage but rear bumper and tailgate are destroyed, 100% the other drivers fault. The 3.6 is fine with me, it has the tow package though i don't tow but good for resale, i get an honest 16 city and 19-20 highway though usually 19, i would have to think about spending 77 grand on a truck, is that the 540 HP version???
Nice discussion. Please reduce the frequent in and out zooming of camera. It’ll b a smoother video and provide the viewer a better picture. 😊 thank you.
Thanks for the feedback
Is is too much to ask to stand behind the truck to see what the exhaust sounds like? Or to place a GoPro while driving to hear exhaust note on idle, acceleration and driving?
I’m glad they only put the plastic bumper on the tungsten. I was almost sad because they revealed the rest with the metal front bumper. Plus I like how the bumper looks more like the heavy duty truck. I’m sad that there is a v8 but I’m still glad there is a gas truck. Rather have a online 6 instead of a junk ev
I'll still drive my Hemi thank you
If i had the money id get a tundra just for the reliability
When (dates) are the 2025 limited and tungsten going to be available? My local dealer said not until July....
Based on what Ram told us, they should already be on sale or on sale eminently. Perhaps there is a delay to clear 2024 inventory?
I like this more than the tungsten
My transmission goes to 11.
I've own a 2007 Silverado...it doesn't have a best creature comforts but the power train has been exceptional. I have over 200,000 miles on it. I looked at a new Dodge Ram and I like the interiors and I'm open to the new I6 turbo but I can't get over the price for an unproven vehicle. For $60k it will be hard for me not to go with what I know works...Chevy V8.
Boggles my mind how you view blacked out everything as some to desire and something looks good. I'm going down the road I can't even see the model/make/trim when they are all blacked out. The blacked out vehicles coming up behind you look like they are missing all their front pieces except the bumper and headlights until it gets very close. Why like everything hidden/obfuscated?
This is a $5k package. Chrome is standard
Agreed. Guess probably because I'm old but I prefer a chromed out vehicle. (Actual chrome not shiny plastic)
Do you think the Hurricane will be available in say.. the Gladiator???
Keep up the good work
There's always a chance but they are probably more likely to expand the 4xe powertrain throughout more of the lineup. Thank you!
Nice truck! But if I buy in this price range I do want to have a V8
Can you get the automatic tailgate up and down in the LIMITED if you don't get the multifunction tailgate? I always forget to raise my tailgate after using it and have to get back out to raise it in my '21 LIMITED...
Yes. It is standard on Laramie and up(w/o split opening gate).
Yes
These are expensive trucks yes but, personally I'd prefer the sunroof be an option as opposed to standard on any trim.
Nice truck, but I made the mistake of test driving a TRX 😮..
In all MPG measurements public, the HEMI wins over the SST by around 2 MPG. Your experience?
My only complaint is I feel like they cheated us with the inserts in the leather seating. Those seats should be all leather!
Yeah, but the problem is I don’t know about nobody else, but I wouldn’t pay that much money for the truck
Can't Stand "Night Editions" !!!! At $80,000.00 I Want All The Chrome I Can Get !!!!!
Old guys love chrome lol
how about the stone age gearbox???
$78,000 for a truck? They have to be kidding. Ram has the biggest day supply of all trucks and I’m pretty sure of all vehicles. I’m not a Ford or GM person who hates RAM. I have owned 4 RAM trucks and very happy with them. I even worked for Chrysler for 33 years. When I buy my next truck I won’t buy a stripped down version or pay $78,000 for a truck.
Only if that screen was about half the size and they used a traditional shifter instead of a dial. That’s a dealbreaker for me.
I like the dial. It frees up space. I have the 8.4 inch display with real knobs below…
why? I have a ram 2016 and love it.
looks the same as a 2019
Are you going to do a Lone Star review? The Limited may be to $$ for a lot of people.
We are hoping to, we were limited with what trims we could review at the press event
@@CarConfections ok thank
Albor ng isa😊
$78k ?? Gezzzzz
Did ram fixed the engine block crack engine blocks? Did they fix the leaky window in the back? Did they fix the clamps breaking off exhaust system within six months they fix Did they fix the truck stalling if they fix the reliability problems they making the truck look better but you need to solve reliability problem one more thing did they did they solve the problem with the cruise control hands off cruise control you didn’t think I know it did you what I own one the 2019 ram Limited pick up truck fully loaded so I know
You only Floyd the truck one time are you serious right now????😂
Now if we could just get RAM to actually start building people's orders
HO 3.0 L hurricane makes 510 HP.
The hemi is the only thing thats kept Dodge/ram etal in business for the last 15 years. Hopefully this is the end for them.
You can probably count on that
I keep my vehicles more than 10 years. To spend 90K for a truck and not knowing if the engine will last is my concern. Ram needs to make a 10;100000 warranty for the first year to bring in buyers.
I don't trust this 3L engine . Look at Toyota. They didn't test their 3.5L twin turbo and a complete recall because of bearing failure.
Just to be fair same thing with Toyota trucks reliability issues
Hälfte der Möglichkeiten unter der hinteren Sitzbank vergessen !!!
That vertical dash starting to look old. Horizontal dash can go bigger. Eventually u run out of real estate with vertical.
That hood is not new...at all. The sport hood comes with the night package for the last few years. Also, the RamBox eats up a ton of bed space and most people aren't going to utilize it, it'll just collect junk.
Taillights look horrible, engine is notoriously unreliable, and msrp rivals a house. Just buy a boat instead
I can smell the depreciation from here.
These manufacturers gotta drop prices! Outta control, nobody has 💰 in the Joe Briben economy unfortunately 🤷🏻
Get a job trumpster.
Says the " Honda " ,,,,,,, Japanese car Guy ??? The fact that ppl have been paying WAY over sticker & dropping six figures on trucks for the last 3-4 years shows the ignorance of your statement .
How is corporate greed any politicians "economy"?
Trucks have not been 6 figure for the last 3 or 4 years
The Night Edition also looks cheap and dirty as it does on all other vehicles.
First
NO PANORAMIC SUNROOF ON A LIMITED 😂😂😂😂😂😂 FOR ALL THAT MONEY AN 2 LESS CYLINDERS 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Who wants a v6 truck that cost $80k?
It’s not a v6
It’s a I6 (straight/inline 6) but, what’s the problem with 6 cylinders? Some of the best cars/trucks are or were 6 cylinders. They can be just as powerful, fast, and resilient as a V8. For example most Porsche’s, Nissan GTR’s, Buick Grand National, etc. had or have 6 cylinder engines.
Had a 6 cylinder in a70s pick up pulled it out and put a v8 back in it
A rolling mortgage no thanks.
So just get a 2022 Ram limited with a v8
Who the hell can afford these today??????????????????? who????????????????? dam.
NO BODY that is why dealers are crying
lmao three liter turbo in a truck. Go put that in a civic
i rather walk
schlechte Ausstattung ohne Glasdach!!! :-(
The forced air suspension on the higher trims, buyer beware. Amazing when it works....when it breaks its a bleeping nightmare, google it. I'm currently living that nightmare, been 9 trips to dealer and still broken. There is a cottage industry that is built up around replacing Stellantis air suspensions, just saying.
Rams are great.....until they break.....their dealers are pretty miss. Not saying good ones don't exist, but more the exception.
