There was no recline because your seat was located in front of the over wing window exit which is common on most if not all airlines. Otherwise these seats (old LH short haul seats) do recline..... the new ones don't but are "pre-reclined".

Hi, OK that was a negative and informative review TBH, Never expected from Lufthansa, about 22 years ago, was about 11 years old I remember my family taking a flight with them to UK, London Stansted Airport, they no longer fly there now. From FRA-STN was a B737-700 I think and the way back was an A330-200, remembered the seat on the A330 was a comfy leather one, they served a nice sandwich and Juice if my memory served well and it was an enjoyable one at least for me. But that was then this is now and it looks like they've dropped the ball completely not like I remember, did not have a baggage problem either and we made it to our B767 Condor flight onwards to SEZ. The A319, I thought I've been on the worst, my flight was a Qatar A319 one in 2017, the plane was dated I think it's been retired now and they now operate with a B777 these days, it did not even have an IFE in Economy class, only Business and not even Internet connection. For a 5 hour flight was a let down for me, thank god I had my smart phone with me loaded with some music, however the service was great. I guess Lufthansa takes the cake there.

Well done Hugo - this was a very professional, well spoken, honest and well reviewed flight.
The disclaimers at the start prove that you genuinely want to give each airline you review the benefit of the doubt, and you don’t want to try and deliberately hurt the reputation of the particular airline - but you also need to give an honest review of your experience.
In my years of flying, I’m lucky that I’ve never had baggage missing or not loaded on a flight - I can imagine how stressful this would be, especially when taking internal international flights while abroad. It’s obviously good that they automatically reschedule your itinerary if a flight is cancelled (like they did here), but it sounds like they made the schedule change and communication confusing - even to a well experienced traveller like yourself. It would be even worse for a first time or novice traveller.
I’m enjoying your European reviews - great that you could get out there from Australia and try some different internal airlines. Lufthansa is an airline I’ve never flown (although I was booked with them for an internal leg of a 2020 European trip that was sadly (but obviously) cancelled. I’m actually surprised to see the negative reviews of this airline, because I always considered it one of the big (and trusted) 3 or 4 airlines in Europe.
Shame you couldn’t (to my knowledge) have tried KLM royal Dutch airlines while in Europe, and get to experience Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. That’s my favourite airline/airport in Europe, hopefully you get to experience them one day (possibly even on one of their flights closer to home like Singapore to Denpasar).
Back in the day you would see airlines like KLM, Alitalia and Lufthansa from the observation deck at Melbourne’s Tullamarine airport. Unfortunately now, not many European airlines make the trip all the way to Australia any more - with the exception of Turkish airlines that recently started a service to MEL.

No I wasn't able to try out KLM, but I do plan to at some point in the future. Yeah they've got some cool Fifth Freedom Flights in Asia. I didn't experience that unfortunately, but I can imagine it would've been cool! Yeah, it's a shame more European airlines dont fly here. Thanks again! :D
That was so unlucky when I flew Lufthansa it was great, for me it was by far the best airline but now looking at it it does not sound as good

2:34 and 2:37, Me too, I love the automatic boarding scan. I wish they have automatic boarding scan in Asia, Australia and North America, but I don't think it's happening.
Yeah, unfortunately I also doubt it will happen anytime soon.
So much for a "5 star airline"... Even their international product doesn't look too superior either...
Ikr, I think they’ve been downgraded to 4 star last year but still it’s really not a great airline IMO.

13:17, Why they send your luggage to you 2 days later, instead of send luggage to you on the same day (next or later flight from Munich to Frankfurt)? That doesn't make sense.
So it was left in Zürich, so I expected them to send it the next day straight to Palma since SWISS has direct flights to there, but instead they sent it to Frankfurt first… idk it was overall an annoying and confusing experience

It my first time flying on a Star alliance special livery I believe, and it was cool, but the interior was exactly the same as other A319s as far as I could tell.

Everyone will have a different experience on Lufthansa, but mine wasn't good. In theory it is, but in reality it's not. This wasn't my first time travelling at all, my whole channel is about reviewing airlines. I'm sorry you think I was being unreasonable.
