hi, i have a civic hatch vti 1993 and my clutch is not working since i went to a mechaninc to change oil and he accidently opened the transmission oil. i tried refiling it but its still not working. do you know if i have to change my master cilinder?
Anybody had a problem with their 94 1.6l d16z6 transmission making a scratching noise except when you push in the clutch? Mine does and grinds a little between 1st and 2nd gear. I'm gonna do a mtf change and hope that was it. If not, looks like my 1st and 2nd gear synchronizers need rebuilding.

you also crack the fill nut so you don’t go take off the drain and then can’t get the fill nut off
It's a 3/8 ratchet for the drain bolt I'm retarded sometimes lol

Can you use any other brands of transmission fluid or just the honda brand?

After removing the fill bolt......you had a lot of fluid come out. That should'nt be the case.
