Hearing you bitch about prices on a Honda is laughable. Go build a z and see how the big boys play. Amsoil gl4 gear oil isn't cheap.
you also crack the fill nut so you don’t go take off the drain and then can’t get the fill nut off

@@automotorworld338 honestly I dont think you do, just fill it slowly until a slight amount drips out the fill bolt and thats about it
Can you use any other brands of transmission fluid or just the honda brand?
you should get honda genuine, if you go to a honda dealership its cheap and its exactly what you need

After removing the fill bolt......you had a lot of fluid come out. That should'nt be the case.
No offense, but if you listen closely he mentions that he’s "NOT ON A LEVEL SURFACE" So likely front was lifted, causing fluid level to NOT BE LEVEL... 🫡
hi, i have a civic hatch vti 1993 and my clutch is not working since i went to a mechaninc to change oil and he accidently opened the transmission oil. i tried refiling it but its still not working. do you know if i have to change my master cilinder?
Anybody had a problem with their 94 1.6l d16z6 transmission making a scratching noise except when you push in the clutch? Mine does and grinds a little between 1st and 2nd gear. I'm gonna do a mtf change and hope that was it. If not, looks like my 1st and 2nd gear synchronizers need rebuilding.

Check your clutch pedal always first. There’s a thing called a clutch cable. Sometimes you have to replace it or simply adjust it. If it’s not that try the Clutch master cylinder . I bought a whole ass transmission only to find out I needed a new ten dollar cable. 100 down the drain.
