Go to harbor freight & get a torque wrench for $25 lol I thought you were gonna snap that bolt right in there, or strip out the transmission lol looked like you used ALOT more than 25ft lbs😂
Hi ... You are right ... it is probably too late for this transmission ...... One problem is that the filter is deep inside your transmission and you have to split the case to change it. Also, Honda has these really small little mesh filters all over the place and they simply clog-up from very, very dirty fluid. If you can get to them, they are very easy to clean. Having little else to loose at this point, you could give Auto-RX a try .... I would drain and fill your transmission one more time just like you did here on your video ... then add a bottle of Auto-RX and run it for another 2,000 miles .... 3,000 if possible ... then drain and fill the trans again .... it might be worth a try. If you attempt this, I hope you will make another video to tell us how things went .... best of luck to you ; )
Yeah I actually ended up flushing the transmission again but that was off video to help unclog the filter if it was clogged. It helped my transmission alot so I continued to drive it to work for the next week and a half, then the transmission starting going down hill from there. I'm looking into getting a new transmission for it soon and replacing it, shouldn't be too bad aha and thank you though. 🤙
So I have a 95 Del Sol, stick, 5 speed. Everyone tells me "NOT" to change the Transmission fluid! Only do it if it's an automatic! Can someone explain this to me? It was done 5 years ago when I had the Clutch Rebuilt...
Honestly periodic fluid changes in 5 speeds are good for your trans as lunch as you are using synchro mech it’s the autos that ppl don’t suggest changing
Only recommend using genuine Honda trans fluid. Seriously. If you have an Acura or Honda only use Honda trans fluid. Not a myth, you will likely ruin your Honda transmission if you don’t.

The Car is running strong, sounds great etc... rebuilt clutch 5 years ago or so and also rebuilt engine about 7 years ago also. yet everyone tells me not to change the transmission fluid. Should I change it or not? The clutch and transmission work great right now!

I was told to not change the transmission oil on my Honda 92 why is that ?
because the old fluid has gotten thick and helps the flaws in the transmission. If new thinner oil is added all the flaws start to show.
Let me give you advice use a longer funnle in order not to spill fluid
