      A center of each region will be called Seat of Elysium, and widely known as Twenty Seat of Elysium. Not as grand as its name, some populated by high-class society, some unknown. And most of the population live in the edge of these center are called Rings or they might as well have unique name for every edge.
      The edge between two or three regions are inhabitants of most dangerous wild creatures, or those who were used living there due to their ancestors, they can be called Edgeweller. There's a price to cross the region, a plot device, the Wonders!
      The whole planet itself could be a device that can be used if certain condition achieved on every center of the regions. This could be the drive for the plot. The innocent journey to unravel the unknown, preventing certain villain from doing so, or merely exploring the wonders of the world.

      @avymmmplays3706 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Or would we simply die due to our inability to breath water? We wouldn't exactly develop into a mermaid-like species if we used technology to assist our move for reasons such as breathinh, living conditions and just plain swimming around. If you built a space like a dome or house in the water and somehow managed to get rid of any water inside of it (maybe by building it out of water, making sure everything is properly sealed, and placing it inti the water) then just opening a door to the outside would flood the place. Certain foods would also be unable to go underwater. No one on Earth could live without a little cake in their life (jk). And in this environmentif we didnt find a way to isolate an area from water, how would we drink?
      We'd basically have to use technology to move and even then, it is limited in it's capibilities.

    The Earth is an oblate spheroid, meaning it is an approximately spherical shape that is slightly flattened at the poles and bulging at the equator due to its rotation. If the Earth were a polyhedron, it would have a different shape and would affect the planet's gravity and rotation as well as its atmosphere and climate.
    A polyhedron is a three-dimensional shape with flat faces, and if the Earth were a polyhedron it could be a variety of different shapes such as a cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, and so on. Each polyhedron shape would have its own unique properties and characteristics, such as the number of faces, edges, and vertices.
    If the Earth were a polyhedron, it would likely have an effect on the planet's gravity and rotation, as the gravitational pull would not be symmetrical around the planet, this would affect the orbits of the moon and the planets, and the gravitational pull would be different at each point on the Earth's surface.
    It would also affect the atmosphere, as the Earth's rotation creates the Coriolis Effect, which causes the prevailing winds to rotate clockwise in the Northern hemisphere and counterclockwise in the Southern hemisphere, this effect would be different or not exist at all, depending on the shape of the polyhedron.
    It's important to note that, while it's interesting to imagine a different shape of the Earth, it's highly unlikely that the Earth would ever be a polyhedron, as it's formed by the accretion of dust and gas, and by the cooling and solidification of a molten planet, which would lead to a spherical shape.

    It's both..or; it appears as both. The surface of earth is flat; yet the earth itself is encased in a terrarium like sphere that holds the appearance of glass that mirrors the earth's surface . Earth's protective mantle. It looks like a glass terrarium from outer space with the surface of earth reflected beneath it; giving the earth's surface the illusion of the shape of a round ball. So, it has aspects of a cylindrical ball and has aspects of a surface that is flat. Gravity as a weak form of magnetism holds the reflective mantle around the earth in place. Just because you cannot see it does not mean it isn't there.
