I have a personal question, and please KNOW, like really truthfully know, that I am not attacking you, that I support whatever you choose that is good for you and your family's life and makes you all happy and healthy. I support and respect it.
      Question:
As an agnostic (aka atheist), is my sheer existence offensive to you and what you base your life on?
I only ask, not to start a debate, but to get a real answer, and insight as to why I am constantly attacked online. Even when I am truthfully telling a person that I will not get into an argument with them until they have a stronger foundation to stand on. I absolutely refuse to discuss religion unless I am sure the person has a foundation that I cannot crack, because of the damage that may occur in their life from something that I may say/write. If you do not want to answer, I totally understand and wish you the best. Great video, and best of luck to you. Respect.

@@montrelouisebohon-harris7023 they don't like him because what he suggests as the remedy for the world's woes is PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Claiming "victimhood" is a way of externalizing the problems you experience. By not claiming any responsibility for your station in life, you effectively push your problems onto others, society, and the perceived power structures of the world. They also conflate victimhood with virtue. By being a victim, or sympathizing with those who claim to be a victim, they are able to prove their "virtue". It all comes down to accountability. If you can't get yourself in order, how can you even attempt to set the world in order? Clean your room.

@@maynarddrivesfast804 agree with you 100%.. you said it better than I and people are capable of doing so much more than they can imagine. I was just watching the segment on Fox News a couple hours ago asking three college graduates their personal opinions and beliefs about student loans and only one from the black community said that the black community needed help with their student loans etc etc.. their families didn't have the money to co-sign for larger loans for them to go to law school or medical school etc etc but there are other degrees they can get like education degrees, or nursing, a degree as a social worker; and they like social welfare programs. I'm not anti-social welfare for everybody but I'm just saying that I know people in the black community who work and if they earn $10 an hour they will still qualify for Medicaid for their kids if they're still single parents and they will still qualify for food stamp benefits!! I'm nobody's judge but I know for a fact that I've worked jobs making that per hour years ago and I wasn't making too much more than that when I paid off my paralegal degree. Was also a single mother of two kids but I had an awesome benefit program at work so I didn't have to pay a dime for my insurance for myself for the kids or vision or dental etc etc.. it benefited me making about 23 or 24,000 a year because I was paying less in taxes. It was a lot better than my employer paid for 3 weeks of my anytime off for either being sick or vacation. They paid 100% of mine and both of my children health dental and vision insurance etc etc so a 10 or $20 copay was all I had to pay. 15% of my salary was automatically paid towards my retirement and not a darn dime came out of my pocket so I was taxed at a lower rate. The thing is that people really need to expand their horizons and rather than looking at a salary number they have to go in and make deals for awesome benefits versus higher salaries and they'll do much better. Certain law firms will pay people to take their bar exams if they pass.. that would be after the fact. Also teachers can get jobs even though I wouldn't be a teacher for anything in this world because I'm not woke but the ones wanting their student loans paid off would do great a social workers with nonprofit hospitals and state and federal hospitals because they'll get their expensive student loans paid off.my daughter is in LCSW and her student loan was $1,500 a month and her first job only paid her $35,000 a year so I told her to get a forbearance for 6 months if she was having a hard time with it until she could hopefully get a pay raise. Oftentimes they'll start you low and then once you prove yourself they'll pay you a lot more and they did pay her $5,000 more a year after 6 months but she did okay. It wouldn't have been as easy if she wouldn't have married her fiance but they were already living together anyway. She went to work for a nonprofit hospital and they paid her student loan after she paid it for a year and a half and then she paid it herself for about a year so and then she finally got on with the VA medical center. People just work and maneuver themselves and learn more about what they can do to fix their problems rather than searching through channels that will make the taxpayers pay for their education versus their employers, they feel a lot better about themselves.

When you see “savage comebacks” generally you think about sarcastic or insulting put downs that makes the other person look inferior, but with JP, his savage responses are well thought out, well worded, intelligent retorts that leave little room for a decent counter point for the other person to comeback with

    • @colingram8785
      @colingram8785 2 ปีที่แล้ว +18

in my mind they're not even comebacks, it's just Jordan speaking factually and with a degree of clarity and correcting the absurdist claptrap that dibbles out their mouths at any available opportunity. When he speaks, it's a rebuttal of a point of view that has no tangible logic quality, and also his own truth based upon his own psychological and scientific evaluation. That's not to say he's always right, and he acknowledges when he gets it wrong - but in most cases, like here, you see the level of ridiculous notions he has to contend with and correct. It's like he's ironing the creases of their mainstream crackpot idiocy, thinly veiled under the banner of democracy according to Woke speech and insidious aspects of Marxism, which is probably why he brings that up a lot, because it's infiltrated the mainstream at every level, not just in communist countries outside the West anymore....

Unfortunately, with so much of the media they don't give or show correctly equal time through cut offs, even actual cut/paste type editing. Remember how NBC (I think it was) editing the 911 call on the Trayvon Martin situation to make Zimmerman sound as racist as possible?

What do you propose? Do you mean we have to tactically protect Dr. Peterson, or did you mean that in a political manner? The irony of this situation is that this internet stage of, "platforms," are controlled by Social Progressive types that have De-Platformed every Podcaster & TH-cam Personality that is considered: Conservative, Constitutionalists, or Right Wing.
Dr. Peterson, TH-cam, would love to De-Platform him. However, he is too well known & loved, for him to be De-Platformed.
Joe Rogan was correct when he stated that TH-cam is a Utility & that the 1st Ammendment must apply, due to existing laws. The problem is that TH-cam has to be Legally Defined. This Legislative Action should be done immediately! Please discuss this matter with your peers. This Legislative Action would be protecting
Dr. Peterson because once De-Platforming is done everybody will be back. The Left will once again be outnumbered in Cyberspace because the Left-wing is Outnumbered! America bleeds Red, not Blue. These Left-wing Radicals live in a fantasy world. Unfortunately, this delusion is perpetuated by the Left-wing control over the media. It is coming to a close soon regardless. The U.S. is in so much debt because of the overspending of the Obama Administration. The U.S. gave Victory to our Enemies in Iraq 2013, when Al-Queda was Annihilated and it really seemed like Iraq was going to become a success. A modern day miracle. No. Obama forced Retreat just to make Iraq fail, so the Bush Administration would continue to look bad. It didn't matter what was right, and it doesn't matter what is right, not with these people. Now we have The Biden Administration. The Marine Corps had been left to fight the war in Afghanistan. The Marines were killing more & more enemy everyday & had not lost a Marine in over 18 months! Then Biden forces another Retreat !
This time our Enemy is given over 364 Billion Dollars in Military Armament, Ordinance, Armored Vehicles, Black Hawk Helicopters, etc.. People like us need to organize. Look what it did for the homosexuals. What is needed are community based organizations. That is the way to start. Be Blessed- Brian McGuire

Instead of watching the content snippets, you should watch the entire interview for some context. I'll sum it up for you in two points:
      1) Dr. Peterson calls students their preferred pronouns*, because it's a basic act of human kindness - one we all should learn to be at least capable of.
*To be clear here, I am against using your sexual identity for 'attention whoring' as much as you are. If it's sincere and avoids you misery though, I'd have to be really evil, malicious or petty to deny you such a trivial thing as being called a different pronoun.
      2) Dr. Peterson is strictly against any kind of legislation to enforce 'the pronoun nonsense saga' - as should we all be, because it's a one way road down to totalitarianism.

I'm a disabled veteran and I think a big problem is that we are ignored the moment we reach a mental crisis. It honestly feels like we're dishonoring or embarrassing ourselves, especially if we break down and start sobbing. Yet, when we reach rock bottom and reach out to the VA for help it's either they'll lock you up for a week in their rediculously awful mental hospital (which is the absolute worst) or they schedule you for a psychiatrist months later. It's so rediculously common for an employee to shrug their shoulders and say "well you know how the VA is lol". It gets so frustrating and discouraging after a while. Admittedly, the VA is getting better at this though and making changes.
I'm a little bitter inside because their employees (at the major hospital near me anyways) all wear rainbow lanyards and the veteran health website we use has a LGBT+ support section. If I walked in right now and said I was trans and struggling with my sexuality, they would all be tripping each other over to help me. But if you're just like everyone else, or if there's nothing unique about you? Get in line and wait your turn. That's how it feels anyways.
The VA wants to stop suicides, but they never ask why it's happening in the first place.

From what I could see, they benefited from having STRONG MEN who LED their families by SERVING THEM as did Jesus Christ, who was a SERVANT LEADER to all. might add that none of these Dad's rejected me because I came from a broken home, but treated me as another kid in their family. My cousin who is also my best friend was Military Police, which obviously means his job was arresting rowdy soldiers. You have to be tough to subdue and arrest soldiers.
In South Korea he had to arrest multiple people per night every night. These were some brutal physical altercations. Over years, his back couldn't take it and now he has permanent horrible back pain and is disabled.
The military all but abandoned him. Fought for years claiming his back problems had nothing to do with his service, since it wasn't from a singular service injury like a gunshot wound. Eventually he got his disability thing to go through, idk how it works, but I know it took him 7 years.
He guarded our nukes, and policed our soldiers in foreign lands to make sure our troops were law abiding when representing USA in other countries; No respect once he came home, no medical help, disabled and back to living with my grandma and I, surviving on disability payments that came 7 years too late to do anything other than barely exist off of.

Too many people try to politicize him... same with religious behaviors... wich by the way there are many others that I stay open about in my present journey. Let me ask you this, are you just repeating something you’ve heard that sounded right without talking to veterans who’ve deployed and worked in infantry or intelligence? Freedom isn’t free you help a foreign country and overthrow the leader so there won’t be threats on America from there later on.

Yes people suck so let's stop trying to make the world a better place cause people suck. As for foreign policy by the US a lot of it is sketchy. That doesn't change that the reason why we have freedom is because someone is fighting for it. Although we can now make an arguments that that its also a domestic fight since many multimillionaires have only ever held a political office. These ain't no 2 or 3 million im talking 100's of millions. Yet, in thr upcoming g election they need your monetary support if you could only spare 15 30 dollars...
