How on earth people call this man a misogynist is beyond me. He quite literally says women need to be picky about men. The reason people hate him is because he cares about men, he tells them to grow up. He WANTS men to be better and do better.

They call him that because most mainstream media outlets endless vilify and lie about him. They are radicalising otherwise intelligent young people into thinking that saying normal things about human behaviour and desires = problematic. They are basically scum.

Most people don't really understand the manosphere stuff. I once read a few pick up websites and books together with a female friend and we both agreed that some of the core principles are actually just 'redressing an imbalance' of male low self esteem. Yes, you might be reflexively thinking 'aren't those books more about confidence tricks and suchlike'. However, the point is that this is not entirely the case.
For, example, one manosphere female attracting tip; not reflexively saying excessively negative things about yourself when on a date is (apparently) something the modern woman knows by instinct yet this is clearly not so well understood by men (perhaps because the male on male culture is revels in brutal forms of humour). Also, remember, sometimes these seemingly 'surface' techniques do actually address something deeper. In this case, disciplining your internal monologue (about yourself) can build genuine self esteem, even though it is a 'technique' of sorts.
Many manosphere sites recommend being healthy, in good shape and programming your subconscious mind with various positive scripts. Once again, none of these things can be seen as particularly shallow. They are ideas which the modern woman knows will make her more appealing, but the modern man might have forgotten.
Even the more 'technique' driven side of flirting with women such as 'be cocky funny', 'have a sense of humour' 'negging' etc. I would suggest there is an unnatural but also a natural side to this. There is also a naturalness via unatural learning aspect to it, as with many things in life.
For example, I do not particularly like the concept of 'negging' (nor being cocky) but men who are grounded and have a healthy sense of reality know that no woman or man is beyond seeing themselves in a humorous light. When a person is seeing you as a human, you are less likely to be spooked out by them, be they male or female.
Therefore 'kind negging' is not really a technique, it is something which occurs now and then in real interaction. If some men don't realise this, having the 'technique' handed on a spoon to them, might make themselves see the obvious.
Some of these manosphere dating sites also, to get across their methodology, borrow from comedic techniques such as lateral and associative thinking under pressure which is absolutely not inherently superficial.
Again, if you are a wallflower who doesn't realise why you can't spit anything out when around women (or men), these manosphere blogs are showing you things which are used in the corporate world, in business, in marketing schools etc to coerce the subconscious mind to fluency.
A lot of people these days lack general fuzzy logic. Western society itself sometimes can be quite 'deontology seeking' at times when fuzzy logic would serve them better.
To apply some fuzzy logic to this topic, you don't have to see the manosphere so cynically if you take a broader view and accept it what it has to offer within a wider gestalt. It's often, for those who dip into it, just a bridge to psychically rebalancing and returning to timid men a bunch of concepts which are obvious to women and confident people. (Peterson hints at this by saying that wallflowers could benefit from a degree of psychopathy, though you could express this in less pejorative ways too. Not that I am criticising his use of terminology, it is perfectly valid, coming from his clinical know how)
Once these timid men realise that they can have success with women, then they can ask themselves more specific questions about exactly which type of woman would suit them in the long haul. 'Genuine competance' is clearly an aspect of attraction between both men and women, but I don't think any aspect of male dating advice would contradict this.
If you look at ancient myths and narratives there are many heroic characters who were wild, free, confident and conquering and who are both lovers and fighters until they aren't. Even Shiva, one of the highest deities in the Hindu pantheon was this way. He is said to find the woman who allows him to express his broad and complex nature whilst being with her.
The 'how to attract women' aspect of the manosphere, to reiterate, if we apply some fuzzy logic, has its part within the wider gestalt. Indeed, many men leave the manosphere, one hopes, having grasped the deeper side such human psychology centered milieu. Namely, develop a genuine connection to your subconscious mind in a way which makes you an overall life winner.

I can so relate to his engineer story. As a healthcare professional, even though I was shy and insecure as a teenager, the profession obligated me to interact with many people, young and old, men and women. And it obligates you sometimes to empathize with even young attractive women. This teaches you skills that can also help in a social environment.
Engineers don't have that. So in my late 20s I could see how it was easier for me to stike up a conversation with young women, in a nice manner without looking like a creep. My engineer friends were frecuently awkward and totally clueless.
JP is right. It was sometimes painful to watch.

I can see why to empathize with anyone, if youre male but think every female you encountered hasnt been evil to their male mates, and females are all benevolent you are the poor bastard who will at the cause of destiny which is simpl your actions and words all of you do and dont say, allows you to become with hard work the man you are good or evil , great and strong weak and feeble, theres many males who empathize with females regardless of what she did, and he counters males whose had it rough and this beta male hasnt developed a and compassion with fixing words in action to allow the good to come to these males. That's why we have to excersize relationships with both sexes and extract good from God and our evil extracted from us to God. I wouldnt wanna be an engineer as male because thaats a mindset similiar to only playing video games and being addicted to hedonism, until you the evil male finds a specific Christian female this girl or woman if shes morally righteous as she should continually action,.will shake such a males evil core of hedonism. Same with astounding moral prounounced male whos physical looks and spirit condemns a evil female filled with evil to the core. Thats it. The truth.

When I was a young lady, I was often very attracted to the kinds of guys he’s talking about here. But I never dated any of them. Because this thing would happen where I started to think about all the fun we’d have and the excitement that this guy might bring. But then a vision of all the misery he’d cause me would rudely interrupted my thoughts. I think of it as my guardian angel. I even once got to see a guy I had known in high school. Years after and he was with his apparent girlfriend and their young kids. He was being very rough and nasty with her. She had visible bruises on her. I felt so sad for her, but I also felt that I had been saved from that situation. Especially after seeing this, I trusted this intuition. I’m happy married with kids and really glad I gave my husband a chance. Because honestly, he didn’t come off as exciting at first as some other fellas. But we’ve had a great marriage and family and a lot of excitement to.

Mother Nature has devised the most effective and direct ways to ensure the survival of the species and one of those is to fall in love with the person we believe has the best genes and can guarantee the best offspring. Young women are attracted to self-confident and charming men because they appear to have excellent genetic structure. There is nothing wrong with that as these are very powerful mechanisms forged by evolution. Mating with a loving and respectful person is another kettle of fish.

@@fabiofanucciThe mistake Mother nature made was, she didn't take narcissism into consideration. You see, the 90% percentage of women who claim they been fooled by men who only portrayed as the productive, best genes guys. It's because some men, who are Charming and self confident, but their confidence doesn't come from skill or talent, but simply narcissism.

    • @fabiofanucci
      @fabiofanucci ปีที่แล้ว

@@kaberigomes2117 I understand your temptation to define this natural tendency as an error, but we should all accept certain mechanisms and behaviors that have their roots in biology. If young women are so attracted to the narcissists then there will be some good (biological) reason. For example, it occurs to me that narcissists are able to defend themselves very well and this alone is no small thing. Many men are as nice as they are unable to protect themselves, let alone others. Furthermore, charming men are often also beautiful, a trait that predicts the goodness of genes and they become very self-confident and narcissistic also because they perceive the physical attraction they exert on women. We should all humbly take these behaviours, without giving them a moral label.

If she's really attractive, withhold the urge to melt right there and keep a composed, confident persona instead of dancing like a little boy finding his favorite shell at the beach.

This was a fun clip. Glad to see both of you laughing and enjoying it.
Confident, productive generosity. This is good. But this is only one side of the equation, and I think it’s the side that KEEPS the woman once she has been attracted. In the other videos is the side of the equation that attracts her (which narcissists fake); being dominant, retaining authority, and being about your purpose as men (well that perhaps was productivity).
If he is confident, is he going to chase her? Maybe, but it doesn’t translate as confidence. It just doesn’t. This is where your ‘meaning’ message is so important for men. Be busy being productive and let her come to you. Another commenter said this and I think he’s right-on about that. Don’t chase or it comes across as lack of confidence and desperate. Are werewolves and vampires desperate? :) Ha, those five types crack me up…
Generous, dominant, authoritative, purposeful (productive) men. Be aggressive out there in the world, you know, 'naming the animals’. Also, we’d love to hear from Mrs. Tammy on this. You said finally, ‘she caught me’…..the answer to all of this could be in those three words! She came to you then? You chased, she ignored, you went on with your purpose??? And then….where is he? What is he doing? Where is his attention going? Then she caught up to you real fast and took you off the market:) What happened there, she has the key that I’m trying to tell you! I”m guessing, but now I’m curious what happened, lol.
There are levels of attraction: behaviors that will attract, and behaviors that will retain/sustain the relationship. These are different, both are needed at the right times. However, his purpose and seat of authority must run through the entirety of the relationship. That’s my take.
But you know, what the hell do I know!?

I think it depends on how you "chase" a woman. I believe in the concept of courtship, and no matter how much red pill content out there is that tells you that the man is the prize, I wholeheartedly still believe that women are the prize as they are the gatekeepers to creating new life. What's missing in dating advice for both men and women in the world today is the word "good" before the word "man" or "woman". If you meet a good woman, who shares your values and respects herself enough that she doesn't sexually objectify herself to the world, I would say she is the prize no matter how you look at it, if you are a good man. Real social skills are learned in real-life interactions with women when it comes to dating. Social media has distorted those skills and now people want instant gratification. Real relationships rely on observing, spotting, and reacting productively to what is not being texted, messaged, posted in your timeline, or even through video calls. Knowing how to navigate to what is not being said is what is called a connection to your partner, and it won't happen if you rely on social media. It is something you build by physically being with your partner and experiencing things together.
I consume a lot of red pill content as well, and I believe they make a lot of sense. But what sticks out to me when they talk about relationships is that they discuss it like it's an ongoing transaction when it needs to be willfully reciprocal. Radical feminists have become more than materialistic in their view of men, men should not behave the same if red pill believes that women are not expected to have value financially, otherwise men will look at women as mere commodities to acquire and trade.
If you approach a good woman, "chase" her with respect, fully aware of your boundaries as the stronger sex which automatically makes you a potential threat, when you "chase" but have wisdom and humility in you to know when you should give up, I think this is a more honorable method of trying to find a partner in life. You don't treat it like a game and instead approach it with sincerity, seriousness, and generosity. It will be hard I think, but it has always been hard to find a good man or woman to live the rest of your life with. Just like I believe there are good men out there, I still believe there are good women out there as well. They just need to look for one another in the right places, which definitely means not in nightclubs.

    • @iceman4094
      @iceman4094 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@parasoul26 I thought red pill believed that women are the prize and are born with value because they can create life, and men are born worthless/ valueless. So men need to build themselves up to be higher value than the mass majority of men, then they become the prize to women. Since they also believe women all chase the top 10-20% of men, that are the "prizes". So since women chase she's 10-20% of men, building yourself up to be a high value man will cause you to be chased.

@@iceman4094 Logically it makes sense, that's why I also watch a lot of red pill content to gauge whether humbling these modern delusional women is starting to work. Building yourself up and achieving is absolutely correct and is needed advice for our young men. It is also true that the top percent of high achieving men are the "prize". But people NEED to put it into context. If it was for the sexual marketplace, absolutely the top percent men are the prize. But for solid, traditional relationships where genuine love is present, they are not at the apex. For us "regular people(the overwhelming majority)" who lived in a two parent household and grew up with values, our model for relationships has always been our own parents and/or grandparents. They were not at the top percent of anything. Just regular people.
Think of it this way, take the good and throw away the bad from any idea being espoused, whether red or blue pill, left or right. In short, think for yourself. That's the first. Second, red pill criticizes women whenever they ask for traditional men when these modern women themselves are not traditional. Ask yourself if you truly want a traditional woman. Why? Because if you do, then you need to be a traditional man. It is a two way street. Now if you are looking for a good woman, the highest likelihood is that she is a traditional woman. Bold statement I know, that's why I said "most likely". Now if you want a good woman, you should know that a good woman will never chase a man. A good woman will look at a man, firstly make sure the man is not a threat to her safety, evaluate him, know more about him for a period time until she knows his values and if those values align with hers. A good woman who values herself will never give herself to any man easily, even to a top percent man. So the reality is that men actually DO need to chase if men want to marry good women to bear their children. But like I said in my previous comment, make the approach and "chase" with some class and honor to take your Ls with dignity so that you won't be ashamed to try again until you find your match.

@@parasoul26 I've been out of the dating scene for decades, thank God. I don't know all the current lingo but if this philosophy is working for you, then that's great. Whatever works best for the individual. The great thing is this, in whatever manner you approach relationship, if the philosophy has been honed and matured, it will auto-exclude the women/men who are not a good match for you. The rejection should come early (from either party), the rejection is more easily accepted (your philosophy has done the work for you and IT has been rejected) and that's less time wasted. It's also more accurate...you won't end up chasing only your attraction when the values are misaligned. Or (arguably) worse; settling when the values may align but there's no chemistry/attraction on your part.

As a maidenless physicist I find it comically accurate when I got singled out by JBP talking about the two engineers.
This happens a lot to me and a mathematician buddy of mine who go out for meals together frequently.
Girls somehow tend to hop in our conversations out of the blue and leave before we know it.
    Beautiful girls too at that!
Now it’s not like we’re homosexuals or have a case of ED or anything, it’s just that…
when we’re in that “zone” thinking about how to program a special AI or invent something new, there’s only a finite amount of blood circulating around, and so much of it is being pumped into our brains that our other “heads” go into hibernation.
Girls if you find guys at the wild talking about amazing STEM topics please watch and listen from a distance. It’s for your own emotional and mental safety. Either jump into the conversation as another person with experience in STEM, or say something so ludicrous and seductive that our blood circulation goes back to normal. Otherwise it’s with great sadness to say, that we won’t even remember your names no matter how pretty you are.

@@joem13yearsago73 we had a third buddy of ours from the humanities department (law) joining us once and he asked the exact same thing after a similar situation reoccurring with a different girl 😂
He was so serious with his question that I had to scientifically prove it to him that I’m not gay.
In my defense let me provide an example of why we behave the way we do, I was trying to put it jokingly but here’s why:
me and my math buddy are literally going through multi linear perceptrons and transformers and shit with sentimental analysis to make an AI that can have emotions or emulate it to the point that it doesn’t even matter. And this woman said something like “I don’t believe anyone can make emotional bots, you are not god” or some nonsense like that. I’m like “are you blind or something? We’re literally writing the concept in front of you, and do you know the difference between a bot and an AI?”. Between me and my math friend, he’s the kinder person so he gave the proper explanation of “oh no of course we’re not gods, but what does emotions really mean? And how can you prove it? How would I know you have emotions or vice versa? We’re just building a program that can emulate emotions well enough that’s the same thing as talking to a real person” and blah blah blah. Point being these girls who have no idea about what’s going on hop into the conversation thinking their mere existence can provide us with something useful. It’s as if they think what we’re doing is the same as a person talking about sci-fi in a frat party to get chicks.
We’re there not just as buddies but also research partners and trying to be productive with the time spent together by publishing papers or hopefully a startup.
It’s disrespectful to both of us to hop into the conversation uninvited and try to persuade a multimillion dollar project which will take more than five years of our lives to accomplish, not knowing anything about the field.
I don’t care if it’s a man or a woman, if they bring that narcissistic attitude to the table I treat them the same way.
And I didn’t know why (well now I do because of my lawyer friend) but it’s usually these girls who dress up nicely that do this. Our lawyer friend (the only one with common sense between us three) told us that those girls are either gold diggers and go nuts over our convo about just how much the GPU costs to train an open AI, or they find our “intellectual” conversation attractive and want to “mate” as JBP put it. Either way I don’t give a f. And it’s not because they’re wasting my time, but they’re wasting my friend’s time. And these friends are people who I would go as far as to call my brothers. I cannot tolerate this level of disrespect to them when they’re trying to be so polite even to the one that’s causing the whole situation.

Probably, situation in the USA is quite different and people see in the engineers some kind of geek in the first place
P.S. And I guess times change, 15-20 years ago an average dev looked a bit different from today. Nowadays, many people just want "short way" to be able to travel and work remotely, IT works very well for that goal 🙂

    • @janosch7210
      @janosch7210 ปีที่แล้ว +5

thats because engineers brains are strongly programmed to 'spot out the numbers/ fact' and the equations leading to these numbers. In the real life its more about 'how you play/ how you alter reality' as 'how it really is'. Think about it more like a theater of some sort. Or a other style of art. Art is not the best, if its just factual and clear. In fact, art mostly shines, when it has different meanings, opens up different perspectives and makes you 'think' or feel different about something. Generally saying, this processes also occur in the non mathematical side of our brains. Maybe it helps, if you start reading non mathematical stuff. You know, the literatur about drama, love storys etc. See it as a kind of field study. And of course some humor and compliments always help, conquering the heart of a woman :D
