Biata, sure was great to see your rebuild ,you've done a great job. When you look back at all that you have taken on you have much to be proud of. See you next week.😊
Biata, you are superwoman. This is such an incredible journey. Your bravery, strength, and tenacity are such an inspiration to women everywhere. You are able to admit mistakes, not afraid to tackle them and fix them head on. Thanks for the reminder of all that came up to this point.
This catch-up brought back some memories as I have watched from the beginning of, Biata I have a great deal of admiration for your work and am an avid follower of your videos.
Dear Bista, to review the whole process of you framing your house is wonderful, great idea… If you ever forget what you did with your own hands, this is the perfect video to fresh up your mind. Be proud of you, be sure I am. Best wishes and positiv energy, stay safe and healthy 🙏
Watching this video in this retrospect of what you’ve done and what you’ve learned it’s pretty amazing actually. I take it for granted that I’ve known how to build homes myself and for someone that knew nothing to accomplish This is pretty cool. Keep it up.
Hey Biata!! I didn't get started with your build at the beginning, but I guess I came in about 1/3 of the way in on your framing. It was fun to relive some of this with you and remember some of the struggles and the courageous effort you put in to solving them. I'm happy that you have an enclosed space to work on the interior during the cold months now. Keep up the good work. I loved hearing the compliment that you were given about how your roofs matched up at the peak. I can't tell you how many projects that I have been on that don't match and they were framed by so-called professionals.
Awh thanks so much for this! Yes Bryan was pretty proud of me in that moment! He’s been a rock star supporter in encouraging me as a woman in the trades. Thankful for good friends. I appreciate your comment a lot! Thank you!
I am watching this now and also enjoy looking back at what you have accomplished. What a special treat you will have 30-40 years from now. You will look back with a tremendous amount of pride and accomplishment. I so enjoy watching each week from near South Bend Indiana.
This was a great recap of your framing as i have not seen your older videos. All i can say is you are amazing for taking this on by yourself and your hubby should be proud of you. It is so rewarding building your own home.
Unreal to realize that you're almost there!! I miss the tree cutting! LoL 😂 you shoud make a video of all the stuff that you dropped off the ladder and roof 😅😅😅 hay how about a mistake video! Those were the best times! You have learned a lot along the way!! Snow's coming!🇨🇦🇺🇸
You look awesome up there cutting the laminate beam with the chainsaw. You should make a print of that for hiding in the walls for whoever opens the walls next. 😊
Watching you grow from the time you first used a chainsaw or jumping into an excavator for the first time has been wonderful watching your confidence grow. Do you ever look back at your work and wonder. I really did that? How did I do that? Or thinking I couldn’t do that task today? I'm 73 and been off grid building my homestead since 2014. The projects never stop. Living the dream as you are.
I know you must feel so much accomplishment looking back at the journey you took. You have come a long way and learned so much throughout this journey. Glad you were able to find great tradesmen along the way to help teach you. I am in the trades and it is hard to come across good teachers or people willing to teach good processes. I always spend a little time thinking back at my time learning and how I can improve helping others learn the skills I have. It gives joy knowing that you set them up for success. Great work Biata. I know you and your family will enjoy the hard work put into building your property.
I have watched your videos 2-3 times but I swear I see something that I missed each time I watch it. Not sure if you celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada but if you do I hope you have a fantastic one.
Thanks so much for watching! Haha that’s so cool that there’s always something you catch the next time. Thanksgiving here was back in October. I hope you have a good one!
An interesting and enriching journey, anything worth doing is, go through a lot with this but your eyes glow with a sense of accomplishment, 🎉🎉😂, come a long way. 😊😊😊
See what a woman capable of Wih sometimes a little help from friends and familie But 90% self build Biata, in my eyes you are still a power woman Let them talk In the summer of 2025 you will be standing in your doorway In your own build house I believe in it , and you Have FUN and be SAFE
That was a great video, recapping a lot of things even I missed. Your family and friends, not must be, are very proud of what you’ve accomplished. OK they might’ve helped A BIT…….but hey…..take all the credit, why not 😀. Another thing when I have to do a job around the house and I feel like saying “ I can’t do it “or “I’m way too tired “ I’ll just have to think about you and say “For goodness sake MAN UP and JUST DO THE DAM THING!!”😅
Very nice review. You've come a long way, congrats. But what about the door leak??? While editing for this video, did you see where there might be an issue in building that may be causing it ?
Its amazing when you look back and see how far you have come, I'ld be surprised if you dont look back at things and say to yourself, I could have done that better, lol.
Are you asking why I’m doing a re cap video :)? I can’t fully tell what your question is. I had pneumonia this week so decided to do a re cap video. I needed a break and it’s incredible to look back
i've never been so proud of a complete stranger.
Awh thank you for this!
