Since I've had a couple of people complain about the timer starting at the very first frame where the spawn-icon appears, I decided to start it from the first frame I start moving. Since I don't move from my starting spot at the very beginning, I started timing when I started shooting. - เกม
I know this vid is a bit old but do you have any tips for phase 3, not for doing it super fast but just simply doing phase 3
Hey there,
The problem with phase 3 is that it's actually easiest when you try to do it as quickly as possible. You might have noticed that the agent threw only 1 bomb out of the 6-8 they usually throw. That's because of 2 reasons.
1st when they're constantly being attacked, they rather shoot and run away instead of throwing bombs
2nd if you have enough ground covered in your ink they'll be forced to walk into it, putting them in the slow-walk stun. Sure it requires good aim but that's something that has to be practiced.
I usually don't suggest to run away and wait until they finish throwing all the bombs because they gain a lot of stage control and you'll have to focus on running away from the bombs instead of trying to shoot them.

Thanks a ton man i'm getting phase 3 way more often! One question though in 5th phase, does he/she do a panic splashdown when on low health or when you're close to agent 3? Ive died to panic splashdowns so many times now ._.
@@gila_tet mmmh kinda... most of the time if you end up being too slow, they'll do a panic splash down. Picture it like this: after the 3-way splash down they'll fill up their special weapon by inking turf and giving them enough time to do so. The splashdown they'll do at that time will be a regular one. If they'll recharge again, they'll do a 3-way splashdown again. If you're struggling with the last phase, try to at least survive without a shield break until they do the panic splashdown. You know it will come, so it's best to go close and aim upwards while they're doing the splashdown. Take the shield break and keep shooting at them right after they land, since they will be immobile right after a splashdown. This is where it kinda turns into a gamble: if you managed to get in a bit of damage before they do the panic splashdown, they will be defeated if you follow that strat. If not, you'll be in a big disadvantage because you'll be slow due to the shieldrecovery + you're in super close range to get killed. Best of luck!
I did it man, I finally did it! Thank you soo much man I appreciate the advice you gave me it really helped, I accidently used a splat bomb instead of my main but it somehow hit him, he used his panic splashdown, i aimed up and down, lost my shield, and came out victorius, thanks a ton man, your advice was so useful.

I think I know the secret. I don't know if it is true or if I am mistaken. When I play against agent 3( I'm bad at this game and I don't use gyro controls because I play on the Nintendo switch screen) I tend to shoot from one of its side and then towards agents 3; I notice that if you keep shooting only to one of it sides (let's say you shoot to its left and on the right side from your point of view), agent 3 then will walk towards its other side and it will be more probable that it will evade towards that side. It depends on your aim. I feel that you can manipulate it with your aim so you can more or less tell it where to move. I think I notice it because I don't use gyro controls and with my aim I don't cross the side of agent 3 as much as I would if I would with gyro.
I have also notice that if you cross your aim from one of its side to another, agent 3 as he is shooting will cross rapidly the side of shooting you from one side to another and you being on its target more faster than just approaching from one of its side to its center without crossing the center.
I don't know. Have anyone else noticed this thing I am saying?

@@fernandouseodysee5027 the plan is to condition inner agent 3 to go a certain way by shooting one of the sides, so yes, you're right with your assumption, however, the way you hit them is not the only thing that determines where they roll 0:

I originally came here since it's taking me double digit hours to beat this boss even the first time so I figured I could learn from these strats...but it's very clear the level of precision is way too high for me to get out of the grind THAT easy. With the reveal trailer for Splatoon 3 I wanted to beat inner agent 3 more than ever. Earlier today I gave it a few good attempts but never made it past phase 3. After I watched this video, I was inspired to continue to fight her and I finally beat her!

I'm a charger main so this fight was super hard for me at first because I'm so used to keeping distance and not getting in close without a fully charged charger. I had to relearn my days as roller/slosher from Splatoon 1, before I fully committed to becoming a charger main due to the ability to store charged shots when in ink for a second. Once I relearned how to fight in the enemy's range, and not having a one-shot weapon to fight with, it became so much easier.

I still had Splatoon 2 and Octo Expansion on my Switch. I beat both when they came out and it's been years since I fought Inner Agent 3. I decided to take a break from Splatoon 3 to fight them again and OMFG I wasn't mentally prepared for the next TWO HOURS of my life. I'm a brush/roller main, so I'm not used to shooters. At one point I wanted to give up since I couldn't make it past the last phase. I decided to watch your video and (after being shocked with how fast you beat it) after learning that the objects block the splash down damage I was able to beat Inner Agent 3 (for a second time)! I hope the DLC for Splatoon 3 has something as challenging as this.

Look, I’ve beaten IA3 a bunch of times, but the amount of time you have to beat them to _speedrun_ the fight is insane
I bet the expansion + inner in 3 days (it was quite hard for inner but ur strats helped so much while looking at the vid) took me 10-20 attempts to beat him!

Agent 3’s gun has the same power of agent 4’s hero gun replica when it’s maxed. Here’s a tip don’t throw bombs at the beginning that wastes your ink because of the splashdown. When he uses the jet get away and doge until it runs out and that’s all.

Me, who got octo expansion around the time it came out, took a year to beat all the stations, and is still stuck on the thrid phase which is apparently the easiest:
Oooh nono trust me, the 3rd one still stays the most difficult one because unless you keep up constant pressure on inner agent 3, they will start bombarding the hell out of you with the autobombs and then it becomes really difficult.

while watching this, I gained a new sense of determination.
I booted up the switch, got Two tapped by ink jet three times, and decided to actually analyze this a bit more pls help how the hell did you do that bomb tech 🥲
Well, first you cover from right to left or vice versa, the way you're more comfortable with, then you need to do the bomb throw in a way that it lands on one side of the spot where inner agent 3 lands. In order to get it the way I did, you not only need to aim a little to the side but also slightly downwards so that the bomb slides on the ground a little bit. The reason why I do that is because I want the bomb to explode quickly after my throw. The sooner the bomb lands and stays on the ground, the earlier it explodes. Also make sure that you approach them a liddle from the side too not from the front. Finally, as soon as agent 3 lands, you want to shoot him mainly on one side. With a bit of luck, you'll trigger them to roll to the side, away from your shots and into the bomb's explosion. The thing that make this strat difficult is the timing, which you'll get down eventually if you practice enough and the fact that it's really luck dependant, sadly :/ Agent 3 will not behave the same way every time, even if you do the movements properly.
As easy as I might make it look in the video it took a lot of attempts to get it... And even more to actually turn it into a good fight like that.

Oohh nonono that's just cause I cut it out properly. It took me about 10k tries to finally get that time. I started my attempts for this well after I got the toothpick already. However it took about 2 hours to get the toothpick for the first time 😅

@@Altairxtreme Hmmm. I guess Phase 3 and 5 are what I’m struggling with the most.
@@j.corbygamingaight: with phase 3 your offense is your best defense. This will need a little bit of preparation work: after phase 2, make sure that you have the majority of the stage covered with your ink. When phase 3 starts, you need to be as aggressive as possible to force inner agent 3 to evade you. This should result in them seeking out spots to hide in, making it less likely for them to throw autobombs. The less space they have to hide, the better.
With phase 5, any of the pillars is your friend, I prefer the small one bc you can get around it quicker. Inner agent 3 will take turns with 2 different types of special attacks: the one that does 3 splash down in a row (like in the beginning of the phase) and one singular one. It doesn't matter how close you are to inner agent 3, as long as you are behind the pillar when the splash down hits, you'll survive.
The thing I do where I hit them in between splash downs is a purely optional thing, only necessary to save time. GOOD LUCK! 'v')/

And no, he doesn't always roll like that, it's very dependant on stage coverage, the way you hit him and some luck. It took many many tries to get the time down like this. The pillar technique where I hide from the splash downs was 1 of 2 techniques I actually didn't find out myself, there used to be a Japanese player I traded WRs with and the record prior to this one had this technique.
