- It's hard to believe, but it has been 3 WHOLE YEARS since the Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion DLC was released on the Nintendo Switch. With the hype of Splatoon 3 coming, not many people are talking about Octo Expansion, so today on its 3rd anniversary, I'm going to revisit some of my favorite levels...

I just got it this past April
Got it last year got bored and beat him
If you hide behind the cylinder if you get off two shot on them you can one cycle the inkjet phase and the last part is if you don’t die by splashdown it’s just like the bubble phase easy
My entire existence is either
1. Die to the autobomb rush
2. Die to the last phase because *FU-*
I'm still upset they got rid of Agent 3's Light Up shoes

This reminds me of how excited I was when the Octo Expansion was first announced... I'll always remember what it's like to fanboy whenever there's Splatoon news. Splatoon 3 is going to be such a fun time.

I remember back in 2019 I was motivated to finish Octo Expansion. I went through a lot frustrating moments and eventually finally finished it. Though I still haven’t defeated inner agent 3 and still didn’t since then.

I decided to start a new game of splatoon 2 a couple weeks ago and just played through the octo expansion again (I skipped most of it because it was too hard, I only played oxto expansion again because I wanted to play as octoling.)
the “i know why you ink” is a reference to the second terminator movie where the robot tells the kid he finally understands why people cry. the goal says to also “terminate all the enemies”

I was NEVER able to legitimately complete the no damage for 30 seconds level, the shot RNG of octarians is SO DAMN RANDOM
Going octo mode helps you dodge
I deleted all my data forgetting it would delete Splatoons as well so now I have to eventually revisit the Octo expansion and the horrors of getting the toothpick it only took me hours and most of my sanity. I’ll have to do it with drifting controllers too so I think I’ll just wait…more
