The street food in Manila, Philippines is insane, and the Quiapo Market is where you want to be to try the best Filipino street food in Manila. We went on a huge Quiapo Market street food tour, tasting some of the best street food in the Philippines, starting off with the popular Filipino food, lumpia. These fresh lumpia are a very popular food in the Philippines, and were super tasty.
We continued our Quiapo Market food tour, stumbling upon some buko (coconut) sorbet and a kwek kwek cart. This was our first time trying kwek kwek, another popular street food in the Philippines, loved by all. Kwek kwek is the perfect snack on the go.
Our Filipino food tour took us to try sotanghon, lugaw, and we finished off our Quiapo Market food tour tasting pancit palabok with halo-halo for dessert. Halo-halo is the most popular dessert here in the Philippines. Translating to mix-mix, halo-halo is a little bit of everything the kitchen has, and it is definitely a Filipino treat you don't want to miss!

Yes, that Globe lumpia thing is definitely the best seller among other foods in that Quiapo area. The original food ingredients were pass to siblings thru traditions by their ancestors . They don't maintain any other outlets or branches. The garlic sauce provided trully enhances the vegie of the lumpia which is good against hypertensions. You've done a good start for your Filipino street food exploration. Prices are really affordable very cheap so to speak. Thank you for sharing. We'll follow to your next food venues in the Phil. 😱👍👍

Fresh lumpia filling is mainly made up of palm hearts! Globe also has the most garlicky lumpia I've ever had, which I love. That sharp zing of raw garlic with the sweetness of the sauce is a nice combo. :D
Yes we found their lumpia super garlicky and loved it as well. Nothing beats that sharp garlic flavour😋 thanks for watching!

I am so happy that you made a review on globe spring rolls. Inside is packed with fresh veggies but the one you said it's like radish it's actually palm heart we call it ubod and it's perfectly eaten with the sauce. Keep exploring guys!

Watching from Vancouver. Wow, surprised Globe lumpia is still around. When I lived in the Philippines back in the 60s Globe lumpia was already in business. Globe lumpia was a great deal then. I think it was only 50 centavos then ($0.01). Of course US currency exchange was different at that time.
