Hi Jean , I think all EV AWD are very similar on snow...depend very much also what tires you use and how big the rims are 👍🙂
I just keep regen on high, it is better than the abs from breaking. Never once did regen block a wheel on me.

Disagree. ABS gives much more wheel control. High regen won’t lock a wheel, but it can turn you sideways.
@@willaerley7140 Weired do you drive a standard range/ rear wheel drive? Regen is so smooth it would never turn me sideways. But then, the Model 3 would never turn sideways anyway, it uses individual breaks as needed all the time while driving in deep snow and curvy roads.
@@1kruxi Yes, a RWD SR+. I’ve felt the car get skittish on high regen especially on a slippery downhill. Note that I use the standard all season tire the car came with as I don’t drive much. Overall, it’s pretty good in snow considering the tires and low ground clearance.
fortunately my RWD M3 never encounters snow -- if I lived where it snows, AWD would have been a priority. From lack of exposure to snowy conditions, wondering if winter tires are a must or will all-season type tires suffice?
Gary winter tires in this kind of snow are a must. It is dangerous to drive with sommer tires. 👍Allseason tires are fine when is just colder but with no snow....even then avoided ice conditions

Been living with a RWD SR+ since 2019 and on my third winter in Montreal, Canada. Can’t say I’ve ever been stuck with Michelin X-Ice tires and the car is more fun than the AWD in snow.

In Europe they call them "Winter tyres". Here in Great America we call them "Trump tires" and they trump snow like nobody's business
Can I ask, here in the uk we don’t tend to use winter tyres. Do you have two sets of wheels or do you have the tyres swapped come the winter?

Sorry, but that is NOT deep snow. That is not even medium snow. Would like to see what it does in 18'-24" of snow, which I would consider medium snow.
