The little ones on the head are so friggin hard lol
Just got my A1 and ams and knew something was up when i pulled and nothing happen... Glad i stopped pulling and found your upload ... Thank you very much sir 🤙🏻
same issue, didn't know how to remove the single ptfe when i went to install my AMS lite. found this video, found the tool, printed it and im all set
I just got mine and my tube seems soldered on, wtf
Thanks. I'm gonna grab the tool. The tweezers were a bit hard. I got lucky and it was just a filament change issue and I had to remove a chunk of filament from the ptfe tube. Thank goodness. Your video helped me figure out how to remove the tube. I'm back up again. Thanks.
Thanks. I've been using tweezers but I really like that tool so I'll be printing a few (because I'm sure they have legs and like to run and hide...).
Yeah, they like to do that 😮
Very helpful. I was looking for how to remove because I’m new at this and I’m hearing that the spools shouldn’t be stored on the AMS Lite because of moisture concerns. I purchased this thing so I could store rolls on it and change when necessary if changing colors…ugh! Thank you.
After your videos i found out that the things hold those 4 of PTFE can do that too :)) thank you
I think before doing that the fillament must be unloaded. Or?
A mí no me viene esa herramienta azul y es que tiro y no sale
For anyone who shoved their ptfe tube in too far, heat the hotend and try again
@3DPrintStuff, What are the options (if any) are there to remove the tubes if you cannot get them to remove with tools. I've seen other videos and know whats in there, but it seems that no matter how much pressure I apply via a tool, it does not release the tube....
I am not sure whether that Filament Feeder is a readily replaceable part, but it almost seems that you'd have to replace it if you cannot get the tubes to extract.. Still going to work on it, there isn't really a need to remove the tubes at the moment, other than just being able to do it, if and when its needed.. At least the AMS tubes seem to extract...
Try pushing down on the ring and then pushing the tube a little further in before pulling out. Hopefully that makes sense. You're trying to unhook the little metal teeth that grip on to the tubes.
I also have this video where I tore the infeed apart: th-cam.com/video/mkxxw6pWbcQ/w-d-xo.html you can see the little metal teeth I'm talking about.
And the infeed is a readily replaceable part in the description of the video linked above.
@@3DPrintStuff Thanks, it does make sense to push then pull to try and release... I'll continue to work with it.. I am not sure of how they could improve this, but I am sure there is a way for Bambu to alter this part that could be ordered to replace it to make tube removal easier... I'll check out the other video..
I can’t print the tool because it won’t let me until I remove stuck filament, which is why I needed to remove the ptfe tubing
This is why I offer the tweezers as an option, you can also do it with your fingers. It's just a bit trickier.
Great info but please adjust your camera when recording so we can see what your hands are actually doing. Thank you.
Sorry about that, will know for next time.
Thats garbage. Mine got stuck. Needle nose pliers, chopsticks, tweezers, printed the right tool. Theyre all 4 stuck
Did you find a solution? Because mine still won’t come out
Thank you. My A1 mini melted down and I am still battling with Bambu on that. But! My A1 is holding strong, I just had to lengthen one tube for the AMS lite.
Thank you for posting an actual helpful video! I also had a broken piece of filament and it took me like 45 min to find this to help clear it
its not working on my a1, i'm using tweezers and pulling up and i have a piece of filament stuck in the ptfe tube help
same, did u figure it out???
Just got my mini today and happened to run across your channel and saw this video. Interestingly enough I tried to move my ptfe tube but since it didn’t come out I simply forgot about it and now I see why I couldn’t get it out. Subscribed cause you put out some great content that I’m sure I’ll need to refer to as a new a1 mini owner!
Welcome to the channel, thanks for the sub.
Thank you sir, great video. Love the concise but info dense 2 minutes.
Thanks a lot since i thought i would have to take apart the hole thing and put it back on again, didn’t know it could do this eithner
god thank you I was sweating this part of my AMS installation.
I've got the opposite problem, one of my ptfe tubes keeps popping off every filament change (other 3 stay put) any idea on getting it to stay?
Man I have this too
Are you sure that you’re pressing it in far enough? You can also try swapping the tubes and see if the problem stays at the same position or if it follows the tube.
If you check those two things and the problem persists at the same position I’d reach out to Bambu Lab support and submit a support ticket so that they hopefully send you a replacent filament hub.
@@3DPrintStuff I ended up just popping off the hub and then the clip and that helped me push it through the shark teeth
@3DPrintStuff I've tried pushing it in but have not tried swapping it with another. I'll give that a try & if it still happens I'll reach out to Bambu. Thanks for the help 😊
Thank you.
was hard but I could remove it. thanks for the video
Glad it helped
how to remove the entire head from the hotend
Are you looking to replace the hotend?
th-cam.com/video/1h1jX_joaBI/w-d-xo.html
Or remove the entire tool head assembly?
wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/maintenance/toolhead
You got any videos on how to load the more than 1 color filaments to the A1? Having trouble
Are you asking how to load them into the AMS? I show that in this video: th-cam.com/video/AMeTdPd-XVc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HN9ehYvaYFLR3gE-&t=441 I've timestamped the link to go to that part automatically.
Muito bom, vc coloca a mão na frente!
What would be nice is a video showing the procedure for loading the external spool when you have the ams lite. I can't find any videos showing the procedure
th-cam.com/video/xTcPOoKk4kA/w-d-xo.html let me know what you think.
@@3DPrintStuff Thank you, I replied in that video.
Thanks, helped alot ! :)
Hey, my A1 it's not secure. How can fix it?
I wrote this reply for another viewer:

@@3DPrintStuff Yes I push the tubes hard and hard and then it is still easy to pull up.
@@madebytl Have you tried pushing down on the black outer ring and then pushing the tube in? This can potentially "reset" the teeth inside the fitting.
If that also doesn't work I'd submit a support ticket and see what they say.
@@3DPrintStuff No just push the tubes
Thanks, going to print them out! Looks to be much easier than the tweezers...
Tweezers are a bit of a pain but you get used to them, the tool is definitely better.
This video came up second to your other video. Had to scroll down to find it. But I am so glad I finally did! Little buggers are hard to get out! 🎉😅
They are hard to get out. Definitely a weak point in the design.
Helpful. Thank you.
Tysm, I was ready to pull my hair out lol printing tool now!
You're welcome! Glad I could stop you from pulling your hair out.
life saver xD
Thanks!
No problem!
Usefull, thank you
Glad it was helpful
