Great video James High, I will definitely check this video out again when I finally take the leap and get myself an OSW wheel. Do you by any chance plan to make a 'Pre-Direct-Drive' life video i.e. step by step guide on how to DIY an OSW control box and explanation (in English) the whole kerfuffle of ioni vs argon? I've spent many weeks on Project BruteForce and have not a single clue what it's about. Anyway, great video again. Looking forward to more to come in the future :)

I own a Bodnar Simsteering V2 akm54 the 26nm motor. Seems there are alot of settings that would only serve to confuse the heck outa you trying to set it up. With the Simsteering I have the wheel at %100 strength and just adjust in game with about %10 Damping and %20 inertia. Awesome wheels these DD babies. I bet you are enjoying the heck outa yours. I also got a set of HE pedals!
Whats the steering stop for? im looking for a way to stop my wheel from rotating past what my steering rotation set for. the way it is now i can go on spinning and spinning it past what the game is set for.
I wish I could even just run a race! I have the small Mige with Simcube and cant get it centered indexed or whatever, LOL. Theres more to this than just clicking a tab in MMOs or watching for the 3rd light for index...Oh well.
hi there ..ok the first steps are the same ,but when trying to center the steering offset there is nothing .. I can't click on it ,also the red light on the side of the blackbox keeps on flashing ,There is never a blue light going on ,so the wheel is given free as they say . Is there something that i mis? a step maybe ...When turning on the blackbox the wheel does the same as in video ,I here the click ,but then there is nothing there after that . ..thanks
Nice video, pretty helpful. I'm thinking about buying an osw setup right now. Would you recomment buying it from Dennis/sim-pli.city/simracebay? Or should I wait for the 'simucube'? And what are the advantages of the simucube? (can't really get a hold of what it is axactly, besides that simucube makes things 'easier to set up')
simcube is ioni pro hc packaged into a kit. argon kits don't have any ongoing developments as of now, so they're just solid rock DD wheel systems that likely won't fail. argon is an existing drive controller that existed before osw project. there may be a new software from Bernhard Berger, but nothing is known yet. tero and beano over at Iracing forums are helping develop simcube and ioni pro. this is the new breed of Osw and they have improvements like more effects, and slightly less input lag ( I didn't know there was any lol). argon drives just work. there's not much else to do other than drive. ioni pro will be changing and improving but may require you to read and follow the forums a bit more actively to enjoy the new firmware developments as they arrive. dennis is a good source for Argon kits. Joe sulivan and Ollie are better for ioni pro kits. simcube will be available later and won't require you to build anything so you'll save $$$ and just need to find a servo. hope this sounds unbiased and helpful

thnx for the info...question so can you have spring, damper effect on at the same time with different percentages? Or you can only use one of those effects?
only one. most of the time if you alt tab out of a game while driving, the wheel will use the selected desktop effect from then on. if you run ioni pro you'll be able to use more than one effect but only via granity software. refer to Iracing forums for details. argon users mostly just use damper or inertia effect

try using inertia in MMos, and 5% dampening setting from the options inside iracing. might feel a difference on lenze and kollmorgen servos
I need help just pick up a Reimer with no e brake. Mines different than this one its got dsl jack and a white Vga. I figure they are for pedals. it come with no e-brake so I need to no where to plug in the 3 or 4 wires. There no were to plug an ebrake in.
Chevy Racer contact Reimer Motorsports an send an email. No idea what you mean by vga. If there's no ebrake but there's a port for it you could try plugging headphones into it to see if that completes the circuit ( pressing ebrake opens contacts to disrupt circuit, and cause connection to be lost). Without ebrake attached sometimes the osw won't work because it thinks the estop is pressed since the estop mechanism itself keeps the connection going when attached.
So if it's a "heaphone" type jack, I was thinking maybe headphones would fool it lol
