    A beautiful demonstration of this "romantic" dutch organ. Its interesting that pipes are from 1851 and 1760., but it all comes together nicely . Thank you, Paul, for presenting these samplesets of unique organs. I enjoyed your presentation.

    Paul, you should demonstrate the sample set of the Noeske Organ of the Matthäuskirche, Niederzwehren by Binaural Pipes. I have played it and I really like it. It is a free sample set for GrandOrgue too.

    Is this available for HW organs as a sample set now?

      No, it’s still exclusive to the Sweelinq Software which was just released 😀

  • @volkmarbusse
    @volkmarbusse ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Paul, I noticed that you faded in a piece at the beginning (wonderful!), it is 2nd manual Hauptwerk, often it is 1st manual. Would you consider playing a well-known movement from the Gotteslob or other famous concert pieces at the very beginning to get a full impression of the sample set? Think about whether you can do something?😃

    Hi Paul, A question and a suggestion:
    What piece/song/hymn is the last bit tutti? It sounds familiar, I have heard it before.
    Lastly if you install beta 3 of sweelinq again, with the old organs, you can run multiple instances of it and run multiple organs. I highly encourage you to try it, the result is amazing.

    • @PaulFey
      @PaulFey  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Don, thats sounds like A LOT of fun! I‘ll definitely give the multi-organ setup a try 😀 The Hymn I‘ve used in the Tutti is called „In dir ist Freude“

  • @Tobias0815
    @Tobias0815 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Beim Tutti am Schluss klingt es als hätte man die Unregelmäßigkeiten im Winddruck mit gesamplet. Wie geht das?

    • @PaulFey
      @PaulFey  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ich weiß nicht ob das Tutti tatsächlich gesampled wird oder man einfach alle Stimmen zusammennimmt. Das Windmodell ist meines Wissens nach nachträglich eingefügt, kann auch deaktiviert werden 😀

    The organ sample will also be nice but from what I understand you can't have it for yourself but you have to pay for a year and then pay again and so on. I don't like it. This is a way to only make money and therefore I prefer hauptwerk with lots of organs available.

    • @PaulFey
      @PaulFey  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s true - you have to consider that this is a subscription based system, but for 110€ a year (less than 10€ a month) you can use all of their 4 Samplesets available. It will be more expensive than Hauptwerk when you are planning to stick with it a long time though. They asked me for feedback, so I‘ll definitely let them know this concern! 😀

      When you buy all updates (every year?) of HW it’s also 100 euro each or more.
      A year, exclusive new samplesets.
      So the Sweelinq-concept is much cheaper then HW.

    • @parideulisse8841
      @parideulisse8841 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lennert-en-maria-knops Dear Sirs, from hauptwerk you can also not buy the various updates and therefore one faces the initial expense of the software and of the organ sample (s) that remain to those who buy them and if they do not like them, they can also resell them to those who want so your answer will not it is quite relevant to my criticism. We rent from you which is different so I think it is not worth it even if your organ samples are of good quality also in hauptwerk there are many good quality samples and then one can choose the one he wants. Greetings .

      @@parideulisse8841 their payment model is something totally different than hw. They take the responsibility for delivering new sample sets regularly. Sq works like Netflix for organ sampling while hw is like a (very expensive) dvd player.
      Sq has a begginner friendly clear interface and their samples are of superb quality. I think it will be good for home use and for organ enthusiats who do not want to bother with complex hw setup, while hw remains definitely a more powerful tool.
      Look for quick calculation hw perpetual license os 600 $, to add couple of nice sets you have to pay extra around 400 $. It. Considering different vat rules and usd/eur exchange rate it gives us around 8 years of sq subscription.
      Nevertheless it is good that hw has a new competitor. It will be good for us in terms of quality as well as pricing I hope.

    Hello Paul,
    you have once again presented a very good performance of the Sweelinq organ (as always)
    But it showed me once again what level we are at with our Hauptwerk sample sets.
    The Bätz/Witte organ presented here has nothing to do with the original in the Grote Kerk in Gorinchem.
    The entire work sounds absolutely alienated to the point of being unbearable, especially in the tutti area.
    Too bad - but Sweelinq still has a lot to do here.
