- We got new wheels! These are OEM BMW E38 style 37 M Parallel. Of course they didn't fit well with the meaty tires we put on there so we had to cut the rear fenders and roll the front. Thanks to my friend Chris (@kuyaguchi) for the help!
Wheel Specs
Front: 18x8 +13 225/40/18
Rear: 18x9.5 +25 235/40/18
slightly modified i finally got an altezza! i remember watching your is300 video years ago and it inspired me so much now i have one and am so happy
Dude thats awesome!!! Congratulations!
@@slightlymodified501 so stoked man keep up the good work
i did exactly that, what you mentioned you shoulda done, having the same staggered set of mpars. i have 18x9.5 in the rear and 18x8 in the front. i did 225/40/18 in the rear and 215/40/18 in the front. and the rears rub just a bit on the corner of the sidewall, and the fronts dont rub only a bit of contact on full lock. just fyi
Can't wait to grow up and buy mine and set it up
Keep on working on it. Video was really helpful
Thanks bro!
Great video
I hear that I see stars in the background hell yea!!!!
Yessir! Bangerrsss
Sick!!! Love from Norwalk lol
i hear that stick figure in the back 🔥🔥 but shii can’t wait to put my mpars on my e46
Stick Figure just provides the right vibes
Hell yeah keep working on it
I got a few more plans for it
For those of you considering doing this to your car, remember this is a $400 car that he does not care about ruining. Please do not do this if you currently have a decent car, unless you're fine making your car instantly worth only $400 too. There are much better ways and options that won't require you to butcher the car.
Fronts 215,35,18 rears 225,40,18
I see it's been 3 years since this video, one simple question, Coils over could help with these rubbing issues right?
It could help if it was stiffer. But the tires were just too wide. I would go a size smaller
The inner wheel well and rear quarter panel are spot welded and folded. Not a good idea to cut that lip off.
It was the only way, I should have gotten smaller tires
Do you think you could of gotten away with it if the car wasn't that low? Let say more as a daily ride
I have the same e46. Got 19s no rubbing with 235/35/19 front and 235/40/19 rear. Going down to 18s m par, what tire size do you recommend? Subscriber from Manila here! More power! 🔥
If you have the E38 M Pars like i do id would go 215/40 225/40
@@slightlymodified501 i have m pars with 215/40 front and 225/40 rear
And with small fender rolling its good
I also have lower spring sport from H&R
Bro should’ve just got him some cheap used or evn new low pro tires 😅
Wouldn’t 225/40 be too narrow for the 9.5 rear wheel? What do you think of 245/35 for the rear? I’m about to install some M3 staggered wheels on my e46 too.
225 would be a little bit of a stretch but its would be perfect for clearance on tue stock body
I have 255 in the rear and I’m aboht to put on coilovers not planning on slamming the rear but still lower then stock I am rubbing stock but hoping that the stiffer suspension will be enough so I don’t have to cut and just roll the fender
Hi. I have a car bmw e46 I want to put 18 size tires on it Two sizes What do you recommend for measuring the front and rear tires?
It depends on how wide the wheels are.
How about getting wheels that actually fit
What would be the fun in that?
I got 255’s all around lol 03 330i
Wow. Thats impressive haha
Lowered?
What does “staggered” mean?
It means the front and rear wheels are different widths
imagine this and stay focused because it looks like it's really hard theory to understand when I'm watching this video, so the theory: BUY THE CORRECT FCKING WHEEL... stock body, same height on 235/40-18, flush to fender with spacer so I have space to step up to 245, didn't touch the fenders... if you're watching this kids dont fck up your car to run "meaty" 225s lol just use your brain, measure and order correct wheel....
I bought the car for $400, Ill cut the dang roof off if I want, doesn’t matter to me. I agree with your opinion, If It was a more valuable car Id approach things differently.
Thank you for your concern
@@slightlymodified501 Lol
Rear fenders? Lmfao
Nise set of wheels, but not for this car. This fender cutting is soooo ugly job
Style? And dimensions Tyre? Thanks
