Hi again nice video. These engines have lightly sprung oil rings. If oil maintenance is not done at regular intervals they tend to stick. Valvolene has an oil that helps remove the varnish. Good to see how your new engine does. Lake speed on you tube did a review. I have a prius with 209000 miles. Uses about 4 ounces in 2000 miles. Im going to switch to the valvolene restore and protect to see if changes anything. Nice job.

Why didn’t you check the coolant system first. I bought a neighbors with 205 thousand miles sounded the same was clogged EGR valve and system. Running great at 209000.

Hi Man, I have 9v at the pump (it doesn't seem to be turning at all) and I also have a no-start condition (cranks but doesn't turn over). Was working fine 2 days ago, nothing's been done to the car. Any ideas?

since you've put the sandwich plate on the oil filter, did u manage to replace oil filter with the plate on it? mine hits the chassis

I know some people won't believe this but harbor freight has a two-stroke pump and it has fantastic reviews. Now they used to come from Italy not 100% sure if they still do or not What I like about your compressor is how quiet it is. I'm also glad to see that you left it on the pallet. Everybody said such a hurry to take it off of there and then have to bolt it to the floor. My current compressor iPad for 20 years and it still sits on the wooden pallet. Thank you for posting this video. I've been thinking about doing this. I know these days a lot of people are going to battery powered stuff. There's just certain things that you got to have air power tools for. I'm glad to see a young person as yourself realize everybody that works on cars or any type of thing with an engine needs to have an air compressor. I wouldn't know what to do when I clean carburetors if I didn't have an air compressor. Looking forward to watching more from you. Head gasket is never the cause of knocking..that is from wear at the crank bearings or piston bearings or both. Also never use 0w oil..replace the 0 with a 5 and you won’t have to replace it twice.

I had almost the exact same noise on the right side of my dash and it was actually the upper motor mount, which is a very common cause. You can watch a video on how to find a broken motor mount by revving the engine and watching if the engine rolls or wiggles too much. They suggest you change all the mounts at once. You can put the car on jackstands and jack the center of the engine up with another jack so you can change the bolts in the mounts. Just mentioning another common cause.

Thanks the for great video. Just wanted to add that In the 11 & up 6.7 Powerstroke forum on FB a guy commented that he went from the first hole to the second hole on the bracket that bolts to the lead pack and he got an additional 5/8 of an inch with the same preload on the spring.

96 and 103 has same stroke just use 103 pistons and jugs.

Did you have any wiring issues? I've got an 07 with a 14 motor also, and I just can not got the damn thing to fire. Makes no sense. Did any wiring need to be switched or was it plug and play?
