Joe Hisaishi makes me cry, makes me laugh, makes me smile or he makes me being excited, and sometimes he just makes me happy. this man knows music, and I feel his love that he gives in it. :)
The man is freakin' unbelievable. This is the first time I've heard this piece and yet it still touches my soul. Can't believe how great a composer he is.
Especially like the way he plays, calm and cool, with just appropriate expression, and the music is so powerfully full of emotion. Too many pianists make you feel overacting you would rather just listen than to be distracted by his "performance".

@WhappyChan He's doing a concert in Paris on 23rd June. Mainly playing stuff from the Hisaishi and Kitan films, so he might not play this, but it's still a chance to see him!

@ChangeSona Even with good ears and trained in music theory, it's pretty hard to pick apart a piece, especially one with multiple voices. And to make it harder, Hisaishi's a pianist, which means you have to find the hundreds of subtle chords.
@celinesierra I agree! I play the flute and I have been looking all over for Hisaishi's works but i just can't find any.... I want to play his piece of art through my flute. I love expressing my feelings through music and alot of his art can help me do just that :)
