Finally, I found this song. I ever heard this when I was young and I'm so into this but I don't know how to search for. My childhood's song always be Joe Hisaishi. it's always be Joe.
A Chinese Tall Story was my favorite movie when I was a children. I can't describe how nostalgic do I fell in my 20's, by listening this song. The movie is not perfect, but I can't find any imperfection in this song. Thank you Joe Hisaishi, for creating this masterpiece.
Deep and enchanting, This music is really special. Like no other on earth. praise and honor to master Hisaishi and his well put together crew. Thanks for the post, its on my everyday play list.
YEA! this movie is from A Chinese Tall Story That's like one of my fav movies and actually Nicholas Tse and Charlene Choi like sing to this song :) you're totally right! it does remind you of like a place near running water aka. a waterfall!
Extraordinary performance, is incredible the capacity of Joe Hisaishi, and the integration of chinese instruments, to get this great wonderfull piece. I love this.
at first i was surprised at when i found out that Joe Hisaishi made this song and made me love this song even more, then i realize that this is a song only Hisaishi would make
damn i love the instrumen that white chinese lady is playing on, the sound it makes is just beautiful. Never seen it before, but i can tell its a beauty from the sound
Joe Hisaishi and Balanescu Quartet!!! My favorite eastern and western composers. Aria, Autobahn and Walt are representative works of Balanescu Quartet!!!
Joe Hisaishi combined Chinese traditional music instruments with western music instruments like piano and violin perfectly. This is amazing, but sometimes I feel sad about it... Why were not this works done by a Chinese...
I didn't see the movie but i will search some informations about it :) The music is wonderful and suddenly, something catches my heart and makes me like more : Hisaishi's smile :) I already love when he moves his hands with his orchestra, but to see his smile, is a great plus !
I love how he used a chinese erhu! He always experiments with different cultures instruments rather than using japanese instruments. He is so awesome. I love this!
I watched a movie with the same name... it was annoying. However this tune was incredible. I searched for it and it lead me to Joe Hisaishi. After learning that his music has been used in more than just that movie, I wondered why I hadn't noticed before, and craved for more of his work. I have never had a favorite in this particular genre, until now. :)
People always post about how the thumbs-downs on videos they like must have been hit by accident, but this time I truly can't see how these could possibly have been for any other reason.
I always come back to this particular version because I absolutely love it. Is there an HD version of this anywhere or a full video of this performance? I can't find anything on google about this version.
二胡の表現力が凄いです。他の方の二胡の演奏も聴いてみたのですが本当に同じ音楽を聴いてるのか?と思うぐらいこの方の演奏が圧倒的でした
Joe Hisaishi is a musical genius.
心に染み入る曲ですね
何回聴いても飽きることがない

Cuz the almighty Hisaishi had gotten to it first.
Because the chinese are too busy with moving forward... Gaining money and power... The nation seems to have forgotten their artistic roots... Sadly
