- All I can say is WOW! This is probably one of the best handling and best looking 600cc sport bikes on the market. Not only does it have drop dead gorgeous styling, but the engine/exhaust note is music to the ears when at wide open throttle! This is definitely a great track weapon for sure!

Cinematcis 🔥I love that they put my gen R1 gauge cluster on here...after owning 1000cc sportbikes for 5+ years I dont know if I could go back to a 600 unless it was specifically for the track. It feels sooo gutless without the down low torque like the 1000s have. I did LOVE my 2008 R6 when I had it though. Great video bro!
Thanks man! Yeah it seems like a tough choice but after owning my GSXR 1000 I missed my 600. If I were to get another it would be more for the track than the street. That’s what I have my FZ-10 for! 😄😎

The wife and my 08s are 🔥 in the twisties...which is all we ride 👍🏻 We actually trailer every where we can these days...nothing sucks worse than riding the interstate 2 hrs to get to the twisties and being wore out by the time you get there 👎🏻

@@itsmeericb over all the the more comfortable seating position the R6 was way more aggressive and the power of the GsxR .... my R6 had some mods done to it full exhaust power commander and sprocket and chains.... it was a fun bike but the GsxR to me is better

I had a new 04 zx6r. Loved it and kick myself is the ass everyday for selling it. I want another 600cc. I like the r6 accept for the uncomfortable riding position. Thinking it over.

Hey Eric, got my bike flashed and dyno.. got big gains.. I put up a basic video
Fun bike , blast to ride. Maybe to rent, I wouldn't do one long term. I like to do 4 and 5 hr sessions and at 50 years old the r6 would be to uncomfortable for me. I have been told in the summertime its like riding your oven.
Haha! Yeah it is aggressive and I wouldn’t recommend it for long rides. This bike really shines on the track and on nice canyon roads. Can you ride it around town? Sure, but I would just for a quick blast up the road and back. A bike that gets really hot in the summer is the Ducati Panigale V4.
@@itsmeericb Don't get me wrong I'm a true enthusiast , I just pick a direction and go then after a few hrs, I turn gps on if I'm lost lol. If I had the opportunity I would ride this bike in any temp above freezing and anywhere given the opportunity. After owning a few different 600's, yamaha, susuki, honda and a couple liters gsxr and fireblade. I ended up at this point with FZ 1 and a cruiser lol. I can ride both all day. The fz1 can't carve like the 6's but its got universal power and comfort...I can't wait for the weather to improve. It's the most fun I can have with my clothes on.

I will agree the ZX6R has more power is more torquey, but both bikes shine in certain areas. Where the ZX6 shines in power it lacks in how compact and nimble the R6 is. The R6 is a scalpel and is one of the best handling bikes for the track. On the street the ZX6R all day. Also the R6 looks wayyy better, but looks are subjective.

675 is has more torque but the R6 is a screamer up top.

All the reviews I see. Why don't ppl rap these out more (or is it wrap) they shift so low RPM and then say the power isn't there.
I took it too redline! 😄 The power isn’t there under the powerband becasue the R6 wasn’t built for bottom/midrange power. Also all of the bikes I ride don’t belong to me and I don’t want to be too rough on them. Haha

Have you ridden the triumph 765?
Not yet. Those are hard to come by! Been on a Daytona 675R though.

You heard correct. They are not comfortable for riding long periods of time. If you don’t plan to take long rides it’s fine.

Ive actually had 4 since 2011 a 2004 CBR 600RR as my first bike a 2010 and 2011 ZX6R and a 2013 Triumph Daytona 675R absolutely loved all 4 great memories out of all my 600s the one that really stands out is the Daytona 675R that really is a special bike given the right rider on the twists that bike would not could keep up with the big boys to a degree absolutely amazing bike. Long live the 600cc supersport class imo!!
