It’ll be interesting to see how FTR can balance all those variables with what they decide to do.
It is nice to know they’ve got a timeline in place and their priorities straight. Get in 2-3 more years full time, then take it easy, enjoy life, do appearances and maybe a handful of matches a year. That’s the other reason I like them: they seem like decent, real guys.

Their individual WWE names are nowhere near as cool as their post-WWE names, and (IMO) FTR is a better team name than the Revival (definitely easier for the fans to chant). But I'm certain they've at least talked to HHH since he took over for Vince last year, just to get a sense on how things are going over there. I'm sure they're at least curious about that.
If they go back to WWE hopefully they can pretty much bring their AEW gimmick and theme music with them like Cody did. Not sure who owns the rights to their music but I’m betting Dax and Cash own it.

I honestly believe there doing the take time off from TV thing where they make the people "forget" about them and ironically April is the time to build up Double or Nothing their biggest PPV of the year in May. Which at this point I have to believe Punk is coming back & that Omega will do business so FTR is gone & forgotten until they make a return to challenge for the 6 man belts and CM Punk is their partner making his return as well. Weather Punk is introduced as the mystery guy or his music hits while FTR is getting beat down or whatever the fuck and they will face at Double or Nothing to draw real money. I think they should wait until the last second to either sign with WWE or re-sign with AEW. If Vince McMahon stays away from the booking and Triple H remains in charge of creative and talent relations with his team, then it's worth going back to the WWE. The tag team titles will be split again and right now there are many teams for The Revival to have great matches with. The Usos, New Day, the OC, Alpha Academy, Legado del Fantasma, Indhu Sher (whenever they call them up again), possibly Briggs and Jensen and the Creed Brothers, Los Lotharios, the Brawling Brutes, Owens and Zayn...I bet The Revival would be able to get a good match even from Hit Row.
FTR i wish won the NWA Tag Titles for the culture......but damn; NXT, Raw, SD, AEW, AAA, IWGP, & (loosly speaking) ROH Tag Team Champions. Great resume.

they honestly deserve time off. as much as they love the business, FTR should just wait a little bit and see how things play out before making their next move. they will lose the negotiation chip initially if they take time off. but it might be for the better given how chaotic the wrestling world is at the moment. it would be sad to see them end up on Impact the way Frankie Kazarian did (pretty much which shows how Impact is the modern equivalent of CCW from the mid 80s) but it would be an option. and I think Dax mentioned that he won't be in Japan probably because he wants to raise his kid. also, with Road Dog back in the WWE as another HHH yes-man of his own, i doubt that FTR would want to go back with or without Vince and all the drama he's bringing.

Their individual WWE names are nowhere near as cool as their post-WWE names, and (IMO) FTR is a better team name than the Revival (definitely easier for the fans to chant). But I'm certain they've at least talked to HHH since he took over for Vince last year, just to get a sense on how things are going over there. I'm sure they're at least curious about that.

I think they should wait until the last second to either sign with WWE or re-sign with AEW. If Vince McMahon stays away from the booking and Triple H remains in charge of creative and talent relations with his team, then it's worth going back to the WWE. The tag team titles will be split again and right now there are many teams for The Revival to have great matches with. The Usos, New Day, the OC, Alpha Academy, Legado del Fantasma, Indhu Sher (whenever they call them up again), possibly Briggs and Jensen and the Creed Brothers, Los Lotharios, the Brawling Brutes, Owens and Zayn...I bet The Revival would be able to get a good match even from Hit Row.

There's a reason they were granted time off...it's because they're resigning with the company because if that's the case TK can just take the months they took off and tack it onto their contracts.
