lol, i absolutely love "it's DCS. We're gonna be OK." when it comes to skipping the role-play procedures. Gets a chuckle out of me every time. I've run into far too many players who are obsessive about role-play elements but just flat out suck at actually using the jet/heli. Casmo out here, setting priorities straight!
Thanks Casmo. Like the cimbat ready series. Having set the jet to stored alignment in ME, the alignment is quite fast. Haven't figured out yet in which circumstances the jester wheel closes automatically and when not when talking to ground crew.
As someone who has only really flown modern jets and helos in DCS, I would love a tutorial giving me the basics of flying an aircraft that doesn't have a modern hud that a F-18,16,15 would have. What gauges should I be scanning while im flying, whats the best way to maintain level flight, etc. Great video btw.
The Casmo way, I like it. Initial acceleration on takeoff seems a bit exaggerated. Almost like a cat shot. 0-92mph(80knots) in 4s doesn't sound realistic for a jet engine. What do you think? Looking at some IRL takeoff footage the HB implementation seems way off. Thanks for the videos, make it hard to resist. (I'm salty because it's not a J model lol)
Classic Jester! XD
“Shut up back there!”

Big fan of this Combat Ready Series, keep it up.
I've been taking for granted the luxury of an APU lol

@@CasmoTV Once you do, a video guide would be very welcome!
I am stuck at work and have bowling game tonight. Grr...
Perfect timing!

"Two weeks!" for real.
Thanks for taking your time to make this video
Thank you
Wow just what the captain ordered, works like a charm, I still advise everyone to do the tutorial, but halaluja this startup was fast as easy.
By the way, "things in the intakes" is a technical term. :)
Intake thingies are the actual nomenclature
Does anyone else have problem in vr, where they cant see full ground chief menu?
Vr lol

Gut feeling is that I'd have to agree.
Good vid man 👍
I got 20 mins on my update left!! What would you recommend I do first with the plane??
Learn to take off and land
Unless I missed it, you were supposed to select SYNC after Jester states that the alignment is complete, otherwise an excellent video.
Can’t say. Dont know nothing about no sync. Wasn’t shown that by the people who made it.
Do a landing tutorial next please. I suck bigtime doing landings.
I suck too lol
@@CasmoTV Pity, now Jester continues to get spine injuries.
@kiekiek he’s weak.
@@CasmoTV He complains too much.
