How does this couch hold up? I’ve seen so many mixed reviews on JoyBird! We bought some horrible couches 2 years ago and don’t want to be in the same boat. We are looking into getting the Holt sectional
At least in my case, it's done great. This sofa has been one of my daily drivers in my living room since we tested and reviewed it in 2018. It has no notable durability or longevity issues that I've seen or experienced.
Thanks, Thin Mint! Definitely brought me back too. Sofas have many similarities. I am hoping to test more couches in 2019, so we're looking forward to those.
Beautiful furniture. I’m sitting on the sofa he’s talking about as we speak. We our four Joybird chairs as well. Not the best quality, but beautiful enough that, if it weren’t for the delivery issues, we’d order again. But, after placing three separate orders and all arriving at least 4 months late, just can’t do it. Unfortunate. And it all comes from Mexico, so difficult for their customer service reps to help.
Not a clue. We began inquiring about the delivery after 7 weeks, and they told us it would be a few more weeks, then we got an email telling us it’s gonna be another two months. I’m hoping this couch is awesome, otherwise I’m going to be very upset.
@@BrentFerraroFerraro I don't think you'll be disappointed with the couch. It really is a solid piece of furniture. But no question, it really shouldn't take 8 weeks to build and deliver. If you think about it definitely let us know how you like the couch once it finally arrives.
Absolutely horrible experience with Joybird. They won’t reply to any emails, calls or social media responses I’ve sent. I was supposed to have a couch last week- they said they shipped it weeks ago and I spoke with the delivery folks and they said that they have no information from Joybird on my couch. $4k. Look at their BBB review (they have an F rating) and all the comments there to see why you should avoid Joybird at all costs!
Modern Castle thank you. I have considered looking into that route. But that’s also a 90-day process. $4k couch. I’m so frustrated. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Just look at their BBB rating of F and all the complaints.
Wow!!! Amazingly uncomfortable!!!! I just bought one and it feels like a rock. I hate it and it just came in this morning and looks like it’s going to cost me $300 to ship it back plus %10 ($160) restocking fee so almost $500 lost. Reviews said this couch was super soft and comfortable but I assure it is not.
Comfort is certainly more subjective. It sounds to me like you are looking for more of a plush couch, as that's what feels more comfortable to you. Perhaps take a look at the Arhaus Kipton - moderncastle.com/arhaus-sofa-review/ - It is super soft with a plush feel that allows for lots of sinkage and pressure relief. For the record, our video review here never said the couch was "super soft" or anything close. You can see where we discuss the firmness here - th-cam.com/video/-yvKX_7hh0Y/w-d-xo.html
Joybird is a horrible company. For what I paid, in conjunction with them repeatedly losing my order and ignoring me, to the point of having to file a BBB complaint to receive my goods, they get a 0. For the actual quality of my “slap-dash, made separately” sectional, maybe a 2, given what I paid. Sectional doesn’t align (because it wasn’t made together), cushions don’t align (because the pieces weren’t made together), buttons break off, indicating cheap quality, all of the previous items equal a sofa that isn’t the quality I paid for. Bottom line, DO NOT BUY FROM JOYBIRD. You’ll be much happier at Ashley Home or a better version of Joybird, like Article, etc.
Looks like Ikea furniture. Not to mention everywhere you go the reviews are bad. You'd be better off spending less money and getting Ikea furniture that looks just like this, won't take 6 months to get, and can trash without regret when ready.
I am interested on a sofa sleepers for my small apartment

Gives me some nostalgia when you start talking about bounce and sinkage. Keep it up dude 👍👍😊
Thanks, Thin Mint!

Thank you. Your review was very helpful.
You're very welcome!
I'm also in the middle of a horrible situation with Joybird. The problems started before COVID so they aren't just due to that. Buyer beware!!
I'm sorry to hear that, Meghan, but thank you for sharing your experience.
It sure seems like they are struggling even more in the wake of COVID.
This was awesome! Thanks so much!
My pleasure :)
Thanks for the review 👍

I'm sorry to hear you had issues with the shipping...I agree, with a 4 month wait that's sort of crazy.
Do you think it's comfortable? I'm interested in the Hughes sectional
Great review
Thank you!
FYI: We ordered ours 2 months ago and we still have not received it. Now they're saying it'll be another 2 months.
Oy...I'm sorry to hear that.
I wonder what is going on with their manufacturing that they need 4 months.

@@BrentFerraroFerraro did you ever receive the sofa? Thinking about getting a joybird sectional.
what does the bottom of the couch look like it is enclosed or do you see springs?
It is enclosed with a durable black fabric.

Wow, that is indeed distressing. I'm sorry to hear about your experience.
Have you considered just cancelling the charges via your bank at this point?

How tall are you? Concerned about the back being too low for my boyfriend

Been using this sofa for 3.5 years. So far it's held up great.
Looks cheap!
What would you say looks cheap about it?
