8GB vram instead of 6 can make a big difference in near future. 2060 is a good card but shows its age, it was high priced even when prices were normal. 6600 ftw

Now that gpu prices are finally starting to go back down, I'm gonna upgrade my rx 580 soon. I'm looking at the 6600 and the 2060. A lot of these tests look really close but I think I'm leaning toward the 6600 because it seems to be a lot more power efficient and it'll save money in the long run.

@@charlesbrown4483 what feature? RTX is unusable on the 2060 cause you will get 10 fps if you dare enable it and dlss is not good at 1080p plus what do you mean the difference isn't much? I noticed anywhere from 20-30% performance difference. Pure rasterization performance is still king.

The rx 6600 is only 250 dollars where I live. The RTX 2060 on the other hand is nearly double that.
My biggest curiosity is how much the performance gap would narrow with DLSS enabled on the 2060. I have a 2060/8600k combo and in Back 4 Blood I get 120 fps with DLSS and 85 without.
That's the key I think, just having the ability to use DLSS makes the 2060 a better card in my opinion.
Dlss on 1080p doesn't look that different than fsr

6600 here ! I also first tested rx6600 with old 450watt evga psu, and it was even working decent, until the 600w. Is this game better than gta5?
Is the rx 6600 really worth it, it said on the internet that it was very pricey for its performance. But yet in the local stores here, the rx 6600 is cheaper for about 20 to 40 dollars than the rtx 2060.
The RX 6600 is definitely worth it, just look at the performance you get and it outputs less watts so your electricity bill will be cheaper on the long run too. Heat might be a problem but you can try undervolting it if you are worried about that. Even if you don't pay for electricity the 6600 gets more FPS on average so it is still worth it.

@@JuiceBoxMusica im not sure. If you want a bigger performance jump then i would go over a 3060. Maybe a 3060ti or 3070. 3060 is only a 11-15 percent performance jump from the 2060. Thats why im waiting on the next gen before I upgrade my 2060

Got RX 6600 Gigabyte Eagle. Without any overcloking works on lower temps and with higher clock 2600Mhz+ should be 5% more fps if i am not wrong

Thanks for the test. On a real and normal market at msrp prices the rx 6600 would be same priced as the rtx 2060 thus this comparition ben=ing more elocvent still . In conclusion the 15 to max 20 perc boost in performance in most of the games in the fps would kinda bring arguments for an update in normal prices condition ... Also that pwr draw of like 100 w on rx vs 170-180 ... is incredible . And the rx 6600 shows consistent difference even in the 0,1 perc lows of at least 10 to -15 percentage difference ...but than again that s no wonder considering that this nvidia gpu already started to be gimped thr drivers since they ve launched that new 3060 rtx model ... the reason being obviously to force people to buy that ...Is just the nvidia way ... they done it with 1060 for the 1660 and so on

It seems that they've finally optimized cyberpunk, months ago you could only get 35 fps with rtx 2060 at ultra settings.
Now it's possible to achieve 60 fps without issues and without dlss.

@@LS-qs9ju dlss 2.3 exist too , amd is doing a great job with fsr but we all know that dlss is better than fsr but maybe soon they might defeat dlss ,but for now nvidia has been improving dlss far longer than amd , because amd is still new to this software and their version of dlss which is "fsr" but they did a great job , but nvidia still really have a advantage and better works than amd currently because they are working for dlss since 2018 while amd just start on 2021 which is really a huge year distance.

Well, judging by this test RX6000 beats rtx 2060. As rtx 2060 owner I would say buying 2060 because it provides the ability to play with Ray tracing and one huge point that beats 6600 is that it has dlss. This setting helps a lot in modern games.

La 6600 rinde mejor en varios juego y es más barata que la 2060. Aquí en México se consigue por unos $300 dólares americanos y Amazon Estados Unidos la encuentras hasta en $250 dólares.
pero si tenes una pc con pcie 3.0 por mas que tengas dinero para comparte una 6600 , es preferible comprar la 2060 ya trabaja mucho mejor por ser pcie 3.0 , la 6600 es superior pero solo se le puede sacar el jugo en una pc con pcie 4.0.
@@UchihaErick12 Aun con PCI3.0 sigue perdiendo la rtx 2060 por que en pci 3,0 Pierde solo de 2 a 4% de redndimiento y sigue siendo superior la rx 6600 , no olvidar cuando usa pci 3,0 al no usar todo su potencial tambien gasta menos energia por ende mejor relación potencia consumo

@@13moon si amigo , despues de mucho buscar , mirar y consultar llegue a la conclucion de que la rx6600 es mejor, consume menos y tiene mejor rendimiento. me voy a ir por la rx6600 o la xt , (si es que mi fuente la soporte)

My XFX RX6600 never goes beyond 100W, it's kinda weird to see it goes above 130W...
go to the performance tab and hit tuning>power>put to 100% power.
@@slumy8195 100W is 100% power limit, that's why it's weird for me to see such extra power usage.
