Heimdallr needs to get rid of that protruding lume pip. It looks like a last minute afterthought and it looks terrible. Either fully integrate it flush into the bezel or offer just a lumed triangle. They also need to offer the ceramic bezel as a fully lumed bezel like Steel Dive does. It looks way better when it's lit up like a Christmas tree.
Thanks for this video, I've been looking at Heimdallr, and I like the smoother case of the SKX and Turtles, but I prefer the Monster dial and handset. I was pleased to find they had combined the two, but no one seems to have reviewed them apart from you 👍

Hey.. thanks for the comment. They both have their place in my collection... The SKX dial is a bit sportier, a bit more casual.. The monster is a bit more agresive more cocky looking :))). Thanks again for your time!

Thanks for responding, no. I ordered one from a dealer got it in 3 weeks. Should’ve gone with the expedited shipping; NEVER expected it would take over 3 months. After all this time yesterday Heimdallr told me it’s still waiting for DHL to ship it! It irks me that they refuse to issue a refund. Their attitude seems to be ‘too bad’. Not feeling the love!
Hey .. i see your point and frustration .. to be honest i still think that everything is back logged and they need to catch up.. unfortunately people such as yourself had to be at the receiving end of it.
I order the monster 2k20 and I received in 9 days total so I’m happy about that 👍. I also notice the watch came from Hong Kong, maybe now Heimdallr do some drop shipping from there ?
Now about this monster compared to my sharky 007 , the bezel are not the same , smaller on top for the monster, 41.01 mm x 39.76 mm and it’s sound tight and cheap ! Every thing else are very good like most reviews said and for $150 bucks, you can’t beat the value 👍

I really like the Monster Mod. Unfortunately, it only comes in black. I will definitely be getting one once it available in other dial colors.
Heimdallr's comments about the old model not being compatible is odd as I have modified one using SKX parts.
Hey .. thanks for the comment .. I think the old model wasn't intended to fit seiko parts .. but it just did ..and the new model was probably built with that in mind. Thanks for watching
From what I understand the 2K19 is compatible with all parts except for the crown. There is a difference where the crown gaskets are located.

I think they're having problems with their skx 007 lineup. They pulled all of them from their website without much explanation.

How’d you get these? I’ve had one on order for 3 months! They say it’s held up in shipping. What, shipping on a turtles back!! They refuse to refund $$$. Very poor customer service.

Yeah I would also recommend sourcing from eBay. I recently received a bronze turtle from Heimdallr and although a lovely watch the shipping was very slow and I also got hit for customs to UK.
Watches with George : They tell me it’s not their fault, it’s the shipper. Told me I should’ve used expedited shipping!😡

I received mine today and I'm really disappointed with the bezel action. Feels extremely cheap and sounds horrible. Not impressed at all.
Hey.. the bezel on mine wasn't the best either.. I have to admit.. the older generation is muuuch better.. but I felt that after some use it got sightly better!
@@WatcheswithGeorge I don't understand why they changed it when it doesn't seem to be compatible with the Seiko bezels. An owner on a FB group I'm on tried to remove theirs and it bent in half. The whole reason I waited for the 2k20 model was compatability and the bezel is a big part to not be compatible. They claimed 99% compatible so I figured it would be the crown which wasn't compatible.
@@BurntPlaydoh I was also under that impression too which is why I'm feeling a bit fobbed off. It seems the bezel inserts might be compatible but not the bezel itself. I've only seen one person remove their bezel but it definitely wasn't compatible. The fact Heimdallr haven't corrected anyone makes me think it is incompatible which to me doesn't fit with the "99% compatible" claim.
I expected it to be the crown or chapter ring or similar that wasn't compatible not a major part like the bezel.
