OMG...... you've been flagged. That's ridiculous. People are smoking dope, they are naked in bathtubs, they are showing their massive erections, etc. You definitely still need to do part two as long as you don't get banned. I keep waiting for you to do a reel to reel tape haul😂.
Hi 👋 Alan how are you I like your stones t-shirt I been sick in the hospital I am back home now hey the rolling stones will be in Cleveland😊 Oh yeah Alan I still have all my 8 tracks there just one trouble with my I have a new TV. And the cable guy said my 8 8tracks don't work on my TV.? ? I like your show and I seem yours rolling stones show thanks Terry M. In Pennsylvania
it was me. i complained and reported the video to youtube. when i think of The Alan Rosenberg Show I expect wholesome family friendly entertainment. that video made me lose faith in humanity. 8-tracks were around when i was a kid but by the time i started getting into music they were kinda over. i told ya last time about my toy robot by Mego named 2-XL that used 8-tracks for its programs. But i never used it for playing music. I did have the Van Halen albums on 8-track in my collection but sold them off maybe 2-3 yrs ago. Always fun to see this kinda stuff. When are ya doing a video of sexiest 8-tracks?
Cool 8 tracks Allan - I still have George Harrison All Things Must Pass and John/Yoko Wedding Album (go figure) ...Others I had I long junked. I have no more player. As for the other topic, The albums I could see censors having issues with would be BLIND FAITH with the topless 13 y o girl and JOHN/YOKO Two Virgins (not sexy at all!).
On the last video you did. Just change the title. That's the key of why it most likely got flag, now gotta watch this video of yours On 8-track tapes my new hobby since October 2023
Thanks - gotta say, I'm really enjoying listening to these old 8 tracks. I actually fixed the In Through The Out Door that was ghosting. I replaced the sponge and working perfectly. Enjoy your new hobby.
The only 8-track you displayed on your show that I owned was Love You Live. I have fond memories of that tape playing in my '69 orange Mustang in the high school parking lot, and just driving around town with friends doing what 17 year olds do at that time. (Not much of a sexy album cover though.)
Hi mate what a joke. So a rappers "trouble" goes out wrapped in a see thru sheet. Her "jack", "thrupennies" and "bottle" for all to see. That's fine. People being blown to pieces fine too. A piece about sleeve artwork injected with some humour. OMG!!! End of world alert. Quite the find with the 8 tracks. I always found it off listening to albums that I knew so well with a different running order due to the tech limitations of the medium. I have no doubt you will work out the rhyming slang in my comments. I wouldn't want to upset You tube by using the real words. Pretty sure the bots don't speak cockney . If they can then they are a bunch of Billy hunts Top show as ever
Thanks so much - loving your "slang" - fantastic. Really is a joke. The covers I showed were artistic, tame and not even nude really. Amazing. I'll do part 2 this weekend and we'll see what happens. Totally agree with 8-tracks back in the day, but for now, it's giving me some new life on those classic albums I know so well. Just a novelty I guess, but I'm definitely enjoying it.
Very true. Funny I just replaced the pad on Zeppelin In Through The Out Door and it actually worked. Certainly don’t want to keep doing that but gave it a shot and worked.
I love this video of music nostalgia. It’s been so many decades since I played my “Led Zeppelin II” 8-track nearly to death. And, yet, I clearly remember “the split.” Thanks for the memories!
Hey Alan-Bro!…I actually have a number of mid-period Charlie DB cassettes that I can’t wait to dig into, also love the songs “In America” and “Legend Of Wooley Swamp”…Yeah, PF’s Animals on 8-Track had some sort of “thing” going on (Snowy White guitar/Alternate Sequencing)…In Through The Outdoor is very underrated, a mature LZ ushering in the 80s by embracing synths and stuff, really cool…Ya Rock!
Thanks. Those old Charlie Daniels albums are great. Yes Animals on 8 track is unique. Pigs on the Wing both parts are combined as one song with a unique guitar solo in between Very cool.
Hi Alan…I don’t think I’ve ever purchased an 8 track-ever. The format never appealed me. They had this “toss around” quality, since I remember getting in and out of cars in my youth, and there’d be piles of 8 tracks on the back seat-and people would plop them in, pop ‘em out, toss them, and grab another. I was a little too nerdy with my music collection, as I would be very guarded with my records, and obsessive about keeping them as pristine as possible. I remember coming across my original vinyl copies of ‘Black and Blue’ and ‘Presence’ and even impressed myself at how clean they still were, 40 years after buying them originally. Granted, they’ve spent much of the last couple of decades untouched on various shelves and cabinets. Plus, the “jumble” programming really annoyed me, as I wanted to hear the program as the artist created it. And that “bleeding” you speak of-hearing the din of another tune in the background-just couldn’t deal with it. But for what it’s worth, the only 8 track I spent a lot of time with was-Saturday Night Fever! Only because my sister had it, and it was the only way I could listen to the album. And I thought, even as a young, rock obsessive, that it was an incredible album-something my rock friends wouldn’t let me live down back then. But it still stands as some amazing music, if you ask me. I wonder what happened to that old 8 track??? Probably lost on the back seat of someone’s Chevy Nova…
I actually agree with you. Back in the 70s when I had 8 tracks the majority were blank that I recorded live concerts from the radio and copies of my sisters albums. On occasion I would buy one from a used store and it was. Completely different experience from the vinyl with the tracks in different order. Not necessarily for the better of course. Now that I’m old and going back in time. I’m actually enjoying them. Strange how that happens.
Wow, cool 8 tracks Alan! I’m sooort of looking for them a little bit. Mostly if I come across some from the Stones. To pad my «silly» Stones collection 😊 Enjoy your weekend!
You too - I'm really enjoying them, but to listen too. Don't think I'd buy them just to collect - they actually take up a lot of space and of course no graphics on them really. But I'm loving the Stones ones I've found so far.
That is an annoyance but worse is when the cart doesn't work so well and you hear the other track behind it...lol. Not the highest quality medium, but I'm totally re-enjoying them again after all these decades.
Hey Alan, well I guess there is always going to be someone that is offended by something. I thought it was just harmless fun nothing X-rated . I made a joke in my comment regarding the Rainbow album and wondered why you never responded? I’m assuming that got blocked because I mentioned the V word?
wow - glad you told me - yea I haven't seen the comment - I'll look again - probably was blocked. I always respond to comments. In today's world, the V word is a "dirty" word. Now that's a joke.
The one 8-track (and the first 8-track I ever heard) that had an enormous impact on me was Alice Cooper's "Muscle of Love," which I heard for the first time as a kid while visiting my out-of-state grandmother's house. My uncle had left it behind when he joined the Army and I've been a big fan of the original Alice Cooper group ever since.
OMG...... you've been flagged. That's ridiculous. People are smoking dope, they are naked in bathtubs, they are showing their massive erections, etc. You definitely still need to do part two as long as you don't get banned. I keep waiting for you to do a reel to reel tape haul😂.
I was killed by Be Bop Deluxe and some others. Incredible. See more on broadcast tv. On Friends. Beyond Belief. I’ll do part 2. .

Hi Terry - welcome back - hope you're feeling better. Yea don't think 8-tracks will work with your tv. But cool that you still have them.

lol. I saw an old tv ad for that Mego - and I kind of remembered it. So high tech in its day. There is NOTHING sexy about an 8-track...lol
So many of your comments on Alan’s videos make me laugh out loud. I enjoy your sense of humor.
@@ronalaurence4105 thanks Rona. happy to hear some of my comments at Alan’s expense make ya laugh. it’s all in good fun. your comment made my day!

I totally agree. My video was like G rated. Two Virgins definitely not in the next one. Lol. Blind Faith maybe. From a distance lol.
On the last video you did.

Great story - thanks for sharing. I always loved the album so fun to have on 8-track, even with the tracks shifted around.

I enjoy your delivery and content. I'm happy to have stumbled into your channel. Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much. Really appreciate it
I love the two Hot Rocks Stones compilations. It's their versions of the Red and Blue albums covering the early years.
Very true. Love them as well. Hot Rocks is still their biggest seller. And interestingly it was an Allen Klein release not a Stones release.
@@TheAlanRosenbergShow I believe Mr.Klein was involved with the Beatles original Red and Blue's too.
@@jasonpp1973 that’s interesting. I didn’t know that. 4 of the greatest compilation albums ever.
Hi Alan,I think the reason your last video was flagged was because you used the word 'sexiest' in the title.David.
I though too but it was the content. Especially Be Bop Deluxe. To me magnificent cover and not dirty. They do not agree.
I have a TON of 8 tracks!!! Classis stuff too like Yes, Floyd, Zep, Beatles, Stones, Tull etc
That's awesome - don't hear that too often these days, although I did join a Facebook 8-track group so I guess we're not totally alone.
Unless you have sex pistols never mind the bollocks on 8track
I don't have that one - haven't seen it out in the wild yet.
Three things that screw up 8 tracks, mold/water damage, broken splices, and pads that go kaput.
Very true. Funny I just replaced the pad on Zeppelin In Through The Out Door and it actually worked. Certainly don’t want to keep doing that but gave it a shot and worked.
Wonder if record labels are going to start making these again lol.Nice pickups though love it
We will be lucky if they keep making CDs. Lol.
Absolutely fantastic have a wonderful weekend ❤😊
Thanks so much - you too.
Maybe if you change the name of the video - it’ll correct itself. Utube flags videos solely on their name.
Thanks in this case they didn’t like some of the content. Be Bop Deluxe especially. I’ll change the name as well.
I love this video of music nostalgia. It’s been so many decades since I played my “Led Zeppelin II” 8-track nearly to death. And, yet, I clearly remember “the split.” Thanks for the memories!
Thanks - - yes we can never forget the split, once we experience it....on virtually every 8-track...lol. Thanks again.
Maybe one day I'll hear an 8-track, I am curious. Maybe you should name part 2 something else, like 'tasteful' album covers!
I’m thinking provocative. Don’t think it much matters as it’s the content apparently.

Thanks. You will. Maybe this weekend. I’m just calming down.

Another great show Alan! I never owned an 8 track. Back in the day I was either vinyl or cassette.
Totally understand. I had put one in my car in high school do I fell in love with them. But not great quality for sure.

The Pink Floyd Animals 8-track is the only way to get the 3 min version of Pigs on the Wing.
Yes that is correct. Incredible with all the rereleases it would’ve been out again but no.
