This makes me homesick for the past. Times were simple. TV shows were were family oriented with good values. Sad to know so many of these actors are gone.

@@rockestee Just imagine what all could be there. I had an Instagram follower teebird63 give some great ideas for the shop - from the Brady Bunch: Jan's locket, Marcia's diary, a basketball that says, "Don't play ball in the house," clothes, the outfits the kids wore when they sang songs, etc. She came up with the idea for being able to ride bikes through the village too.
This is such a gorgeous idea. I wish so much this magical place existed. The only problem that I could see is that I would never want to leave!

Long overdue! And why limit yourself to just a neighborhood? How bout an opportunity to go inside of the I Dream of Jeannie Bottle? The Jupiter 2 from Lost in Space? There's no limit to hollywood magic.

This isn’t out of realm to do. There are companies that recreate popular movie or tv show locales as a “pop up.” This could be the same but permanent. This is a great pitch to someone who can financially back it 👍🏻

Okay. Mind blown! That would be oh so magnificent! I am so into HGTV's yearly Dream Home/Smart Home/Green Home/Urban Oasis shows, and I thought it would be so cool if they built an iconic movie or TV home to give away. Your idea would be even better, as so many people would be able to experience the homes and not just one super lucky contest winner. HGTV really needs to do this. Aside from the feedback they've gotten from "A Very Brady Renovation", all they need to do is look at how many followers you have, and how gaga everybody got over the amazing Munster's house that was built in TX, and how many people flock to the "A Christmas Story" house, and the myriad of articles & videos out there, where people have visited famous filming locations. It would be a major win!

I would go too. I took the tour of sitcom houses a long time ago. Saw the houses. It's just a set but would be awesome to go inside and take a peek. Maybe the blueprints for these homes can be sold. I'm sure someone out there would build a TV house/sitcom house.

Oh I love the idea!!! That would be a HUGE project taking years to complete, but what a lovely idea. The Ponderosa Ranch, the apartment from Laverne and Shirley, oh my, so many to add!
Two little tidbits someone might find interesting hopefully. Recently I've been watching the 1960's sitcom Hazel, and the other day in an episode about the home next door to theirs being sold, I thought I know that house, it's the Bewitched house! These were both Screen Gems shows, so they reused many of the same houses on the back lots like this. The interior of the house was totally different than the Bewitched house, but the same exterior was used.
In another episode featuring a friend of their son, I knew I recognized the home of the son's friend, it was from another 1960's sitcom I've been watching, it was Mr. Wilson's house from Dennis The Menace. It's fun to notice these little things.

I would LOVE spending time in Samantha's, Aunt Bee's, the Brady's kithens! I love the homes from the 50-70's!

I would love to stay at the inn from White Christmas. Excellent video and concept for a theme park, Marina! There is a place where historical houses and shops have been moved and kept (I forget the name of it) so it's not impossible for a theme park as you describe to become a reality. I hope to live long enough to see it happen.

What a fantastic idea! In addition, you could have a “high rise” apartment building with all the famous apartments: Bill Davis’ from Family Affair, Ann Marie’s from That Girl, Seinfeld, Diff’rent Strokes, Friends, Odd Couple, and so on. Also a section with the huts from Gilligan’s Island.

I love this idea. Years ago, I imagined a hotel with suites designed like the interiors of various TV residences. You could stay in a mock-up of the Brady house, the Flintstones home, or the apartment from Three's Company. Your idea is bigger and bolder.

Not a theme park. But rather a vacation resort. Have guest rent out rooms, apartments or a whole house. All the amenities can in the town square. Place the homes in the matching setting for the home. Waton's - Mountain. Adam's - Dark and foreboding. Country for country, city for city.
exactly - I dreamed of doing this for years - a little town that people could rent their favorite home for a week/month. I would rent a different home every year.
Great idea. I think it would be ideal to have both! You could get to stay in the homes in one park, and in the other park everyone could get to walk through all of them.
That's a great idea too! And if the home wasn't rented out it could be toured. I've often dreamed of building a community that would be special - where people actually live. I never thought of making each one look like a movie home - that would be a fun twist! Nostalgia-ville! :) And there are soooo many great houses out there from movies too - not just television shows: Bringing up Baby, Sleepless in Seattle - Meg Ryan's house, While you were Sleeping - Jack's parents' house, that's all I can think of right now. Oh - thought of another apartment: Three's Company!

I would love to do just that considering that you would be on limited time with the few actors who are still alive to answer the questions you want to ask about the shows from the past. The place that would be a great time is the Warner ranch facility where all the historic homes are for all the Screen Gems classics we know & love plus adding the rest of the sets you mentioned could be one awe inspiring TV theme park

I love the idea. Would be wonderful to see those houses and even some of the town buildings we know. And the great thing is they could even do more than one. Even in more middle of the country (up and down wise) wouldn't have too many weather problems.

I would definitely go and see it. Imagine: The Waltons, Little House, Wayne Mansion, The Cosby Show, Family Ties, 227, Full House, Three's Company, The Golden Girls, Collinwood and The Old House, Benson, Magnum P.I., Steve Austin's house and/or his parents, The Monkee's bungalow, and more. Wow.
I love this idea. I would add the original bridge of the Enterprise from Star Trek.
I bet a lot of people would love that. I picture the theme park broken down into neighborhoods by decades. Star Trek could be in the future section.

I would definitely be on board for that!! Just imagine the hotels near by could be the Shining hotel or the Holiday Inn. Restaurants like Mel’s Diner and the Regal Beagle. And of course the houses like from That Darn Cat, Murder She Wrote and The Van Trap house. Apartments like Three’s Company, Lavern & Shirley and Friends. Folks of all around and all ages would enjoy it. 😊👍❤️

This is a GREAT idea! I REALLY want to go to the Brady house and was very disappointed when I found out that we couldn't. I would love to see various sections (sort of like Disney World). A Mayberry / Hooterville section. A Beverly Hills Section. A recreation of the "Ranch" and Blondie Street. And others that you have shown. I would definitely visit.

It would. 💕I even thought it would be fun to have the Partridge Family bus as a shuttle bus for the section of homes from that decade. By the way, I'll be creating the Partridge family home soon for this channel.

@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane Was the Partridge house also the Kravitz house? I know the house to the left of the Bewitched house was where the Baxter's lived - George, Dorothy (Missy), Harold (Sport) - with Hazel.
@@DANBOLLENBACHER Yes. The house used for the Kravitz was the same one used for the Partridge Family. But, interestingly, it wasn't directly across the street as shown on TV.

There is couple in Texas who have remolded their home into the Munsters. They have props from the show on display and the give tours all year long.
I've read about that. It is definitely on my bucket list.
