One of my favorite tv shows as a child. I always day dreaming going back in time where the world is so simple and quite. I love the Cunningham's home...Thank you for sharing this ....
Another house knocked out of the ball park! Happy Days was such a favorite in my household. One of our parents' friends was a fellow very much like Fonzie, although Dave was a married man. He had this swagger about him but also incredibly humble. He had the perfect hair, wore jeans and boots with the white tee, and rode a bike. When Happy Days came out, more than once, he was approached and asked if he was on tv and was his name Fonzie. 😅
Great job! The living room switched in season 3, Fall 1975, to accommodate a three-camera shot instead of a single camera shot. They also added a live studio audience! Really looking forward to part 2 with the new set and Fonzie's apartment!
While watching Hazel again, I noticed Mr B's office is the door right next to the FRONT door, so it made me re-think what I thought i already knew about their house. I would like to see you do the house from Hazel.
I forgot about the dining room. This set brings back so many great memories. We always watched Happy Days at 8 then Laverne and Shirley at 8:30. Its funny how something like a TV show can instantly transport you to that certain place and time in your life and what you were doing and who you spent your time with. Sometimes I forget what I did 2 days ago ... but can recite every single word of the opening song from Happy Days. Plus many more. Very great tour from a time long gone. Cheers ✌
As always, EXCELLENT work Marina! I love it! Looking forward to seeing the second house as well as well as the garage apartment (a.k.a. Fonzie's pad). Reason for the redesign of the house (just like The Odd Couple) was the first season (possibly the 2nd as well or a partial of it) was filmed without a studio audience. It becomes necessary to have to make changes when they are now acting live in front of a studio audience. I love the way the Happy Days change kept the kitchen the same! Thanks again Marina, you never cease to amaze me with your work!
Hey that home was in the Larchmont neighborhood, I lived there in the 90's. And I wonder if that stove Mrs. C cooked on was an Okeefe & Merritt! I own one now, mint condition of course! LOL...thanks Marina!
This is a little outside the box, but I always wondered how the 4077th MASH was generally set up, where everything was, everyone's tents The Swamp, Hot Lips and the nurses tents, showers, the CO's office, OR, Radar's quarters, mess hall, motor pool, Rosie's Bar etc. It's multiple buildings but mostly one room each except the main building with 6 rooms.
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane My grandpa was part of an Engineer crew that was responsible for taking down and setting up a MASH unit, when they weren't mobile his job was to guard the motor pool. My Gramps was Sergeant Rizzo. He was only in Korea for 6 months, his truck drove over a mine and was sent rolling into a ditch, the driver died and gramps was in a coma for 6 weeks, paralyzed on his left arm and leg. He loved MASH, said it was like being back there.
I would go back to one day in 1965. That changed my life forever December 5, 1965 I would not run outside. I would watch the Apollo seven to the end and then go play upstairs.

I realize how much work goes into these fantastic videos. It seems sitcoms are a bit easier than hour-long dramas. But there is one home I've always wanted so much to visit. So warm, luxurious, cozy, and loveable. It's the house from Hart to Hart. Brick and wood kitchen. Large master suite. Guest house. Yummy!

Thanks once again for sharing your wonderfully detailed and carefully researched work! Always a treat! Caught that Green Acres thumbnail at the end and couldn't resist commenting that I've always half-joked that Lisa Douglas's NYC apartment was part of my design inspiration....never mind that we see only a stingy, fleeting glimpse of it in the opening credits! Thank you so much for all your work. I only watch classic tv, since the early days of the first station to try it, Nick at Night,( Nickelodeon, now there are four stations providing me with my black and white favs. I go to You Tube and watch shows that only ran for a year or even 13 weeks. So any of those old houses you do is just fine with me. Keep up the great work. T.V. was my escape from a tumultuous childhood filled with unhappiness and chaos but my shows kept me sane and taught me the ways of life outside my four walls. Loved Dick Van Dykes house the best. I loved the layout and still think it’s ultra modern. Have you done the Munsters yet. I will look around your Chanel.
@@TheJetfighter666 Hi. I've had others on here mention that watching these kinds of shows took them away from their situations at home and allowed them to imagine a different kind of family life. I wonder if the creators knew what they were providing for some. I have done the Munsters. It's in 2 parts, the main floor and then the upstairs and Grandpa's dungeon.

I always enjoy your videos, Marina. One I'd love to see isn't a very traditional home... Colonel Klink's quarters from Hogan's Heroes. I there are enough rooms to make it interesting. In addition to Col. Kilnk's offices, there's his living room, dining room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom as well as guest quarters.
Speaking of using props from other shows, That Clown picture above Joni's bed was also in the living room of Lavern and Shirley's apartment for years, and I even saw it once above Cindy Brady's bed on the Brady Bunch

Great job on the Happy Days set! Excellent as always. So many fun memories. I just watched an episode of Sanford & Son, and I thought of you! I thought it would be fun to see your version of their house. I also thought it would take a long time to create all the junk. It might be fun to hide set pieces from other houses you've created and see if we could find them all. The Sanford & Son exterior in the opening title sequence might take the prize for the LEAST consistent with the interior. I'll enjoy whatever you do.
Your channel is amazing! Every video is incredible. I think my favorite moment in this one was spotting the Guys and Dolls movie poster in Arnold's- nice touch for us classic movie fans. Wonderful job! I would love to see The Partridge Family home next! It had a cool outdoor layout with a breezeway from the kitchen to the garage with the backyard behind that you rarely saw.
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane I had read once that the Partidge Family house was remodeled as 'Amanda King's' house in Scarecrow & Mrs. King but I don't think that is correct. I think the Partridge Family house is alot bigger than the Scarecrow and Mrs. King home. I've also read Amanda's house was remodeled as the 'Thacher' family home in 'Life Goes on' but I'm not sure about that either.
@@thebudgetbee9694 The 3 look a little similar but you're right, they're not. The Partridge Family had a long driveway to hold the bus and the iconic garage. The other 2 have smaller driveways and garages
I wonder if the Happy days house had a basement and what would be down there besides a freezer, storage and a pool table. Ha ha ha! Also ,my parents' laundry room was in the basement.
Nice job! When I was a kid, I hated how they changed the house. They had to do it because they switched to having a studio audience but the new house always looked odd to me. I love the house used for the exterior shots!
More burning questions! 1. Are there any tv shows (or movies) where the interiors are used? 2. As in this example, what is the reason for a set design change that’s also so subtle that many of us didn’t even notice?
This was a fun tour of the Happy Days sets. Thank you so much! This was one of our favorite TV shows and going through the home and restaurant brings back fond memories. One home I think would be fun to tour is the Weasley's home - The Burrow, of the Harry Potter series. Again, thank you so very much! Take care and be safe! 😊💖🙏
This was so wonderful to see. Thank you! Are you really considering doing a tour of the home from the tv show Fsmily? If so, any approximate idea when? Also, I think the Partridge Family would be a great home tour to take at some point. I know you're all about the architecture but did you ever notice how eclectic the decor was in that home? Especially the kids bedrooms!
Great video as always! As for which house I'd like to see next... how about Mister Rogers' "television home?" Its interior remained mostly the same after the first couple seasons, gaining its blue living room walls in episode #1326 in 1974. The home had multiple exterior looks, each part of a miniature neighborhood, but its most well known exterior appearance, a yellowish Cape Cod house, debuted in episode #1326 in 1974, and remained essentially the same until the show's final episode in 2001.
Incredible job Marina & thank you. 50's Americana at it's best. So many memories of this show and you bring them all back to life without jumping the shark!
Yet another fantastic episode! I had totally forgotten that there were two versions of the Cunningham house on the show. LOL - 5:17 a good shot of the vanishing Chuck Cunningham. Was he an early version of the Mandela effect, where the Milwaukeeans are sure there used to be two Cunningham sons, while the family says "we don't know what you're talking about". That room at Arnolds at 22:54 was probably the storeroom for the ingredients of all the food Arnold served up. I hope you do the Douglas's from "Green Acres" next.
I got to tell you.. there was a girl on set (I work as a stand in) her father worked on bewitch and used to take her there as a little girl.. I love the red Pyrex bowl on the kitchen counter. No 50's home would be w/out the original 4-pc bowl set. I saw them in an old newspaper ad for only $3.50. I have the original set from Goodwill. Love your work, Marina!
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane The oldest Pyrex bowls are thicker than the newest ones. I found 3 pieces of the set at Goodwill and snapped them up. In my cart at least 5 women came up to me and commented on the bowls. I told my friend we had to guard the cart LOL I found the other bowl at a thrift store. My set cost $12.99, which is unheard of. I've seen them up to $175. My set is in great condition. The dishwasher is the enemy. Wash all Pyrex by hand.

Great tour as always! Your channel is the feel good channel 😊 I look forward to all your tours but would be especially interested in seeing the Little House on the Prairie house, I know it’s tiny but I’ve always wanted to climb that latter to the loft!
Funny you should mention that. It's the next one I'm going to do.
Awesome Marina! 😎 Worth waiting for!
Thank you! 😊
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane 👍
Incredible! The level of detail and realism is off the scale. Most impressive!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
I have made many other homes too. You can see all of the other TV and movie home tours I've made here: th-cam.com/users/MarinaCoavideos?view_as=subscriber
Interesting idea. Thanks.
Speaking of using props from other shows, That Clown picture above Joni's bed was also in the living room of Lavern and Shirley's apartment for years, and I even saw it once above Cindy Brady's bed on the Brady Bunch
I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing about the clown picture.
Love the view walking down the stairs! Great job with the laundry room.
Thanks. I loved getting to see that view too. We never got to on the show.
I have made many other homes too. You can see all of the other TV and movie home tours I've made here: th-cam.com/users/MarinaCoavideos?view_as=subscriber
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane I love your channel. I used to have a basic CAD computer program that I played with for fun and relaxation. Little House On The Prarie was my favorite to make and imagine walking through. But, in reality, I imagined all TV and movie homes. I love that you shared your skills and passions.
@@MeMe-mt6xv Oh, wow! We definitely share a similar passion. Cool.
Marina you always do such a great job on these videos.i loved this video. I would love to see little house on the prairie or green acres.but i would really see you do the shady rest hotel on petticoat junction.
I will definitely be doing all 3 of those. In fact, the very next tour I'm making is Little House. 😊
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane cool thanks can't wait to see.
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane Please do Beverly Hillbillies, too! The mansion AND the little shack in the Ozarks... Lol - lots of Ellie May's critters!
@@bilburns1313 I will be doing their mansion. I've had a lot of requests for it.
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane You are so wonderfully thorough, I half expect to see The Commerce Bank of Beverly Hills as well! Thanks for all the great work!
Liked this before I even watched it because I KNOW it’s going to be amazing!!!!
😁
Love, love, love your work! Thank you!!
Thank you so much. It's comments like this that keep me going.
I always liked how Henry Winkler named Ron, Opie Cunningham. LOL
I can't wait to get to the Sanford and Son house!
Your channel is amazing! Every video is incredible. I think my favorite moment in this one was spotting the Guys and Dolls movie poster in Arnold's- nice touch for us classic movie fans. Speaking of, you know what house would be amazing for a tour? The house in Meet Me in St Louis! Anyway, thanks again for all of your hard work!
Thank you. I'm glad you found the channel. I have had a lot of requests for "Meet me in St. Louis" and plan on doing that home.
I’d love to see the ‘Father Knows Best’ house. Always wanted my home to look just like that! Thanks
So cool! Can’t wait to see the “later years” version. I’d love to see the Family Ties house on a future episode.
Glad you liked it. I plan on doing Family Ties. 😊

Great work as always, Marina!
Thank you!
Wonderful job! I would love to see The Partridge Family home next! It had a cool outdoor layout with a breezeway from the kitchen to the garage with the backyard behind that you rarely saw.
I will be doing that home. 😊
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane 🙂
@@thebudgetbee9694 The 3 look a little similar but you're right, they're not. The Partridge Family had a long driveway to hold the bus and the iconic garage. The other 2 have smaller driveways and garages
Marina,Next home you cover should be Sanford & Son.
I wonder if the Happy days house had a basement and what would be down there besides a freezer, storage and a pool table. Ha ha ha! Also ,my parents' laundry room was in the basement.
Good question!
Your videos always are greatly anticipated!!
Thank you!
Nice job! When I was a kid, I hated how they changed the house. They had to do it because they switched to having a studio audience but the new house always looked odd to me. I love the house used for the exterior shots!
The first set is my favorite too.
More burning questions! 1. Are there any tv shows (or movies) where the interiors are used?
2. As in this example, what is the reason for a set design change that’s also so subtle that many of us didn’t even notice?
Thanks for the terrific work. I love those old pedestal sinks.
Me too!
I want to do that home. I love it
I absolutely loved the work you did on this tour! I have to say it’s one of my favorites that you have done.
Thank you!
Great video as always. I am definitely going to look at the prints. Keep them coming.
Thank you.
Wow, thank you so much for making these videos. I thoroughly enjoy watching each and everyone of them. 🎉
😊
I love this! You're tours just keep getting better and better! Thank you!
😊
As an architect myself, always enjoy when your videos pop up...this seems like it would be a difficult one to do
The upstairs is crazy and defies the laws of physics. But with TV homes that's par for the course. 😊
Marina, you tell a story really well, I just wanted to tell you that.
Thank you.
I've had others suggest that home too. Thanks.
That was fun, I love these and your thoughtful presentation. thanks. I would like to see "Lassie's home" and barn...
Thank you! I think that's the first request I've gotten for that home.
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane I have June Lockhart on my mind. But I've always wanted a bangy screen door like in the cozy kitchen.
Incredible job Marina & thank you. 50's Americana at it's best. So many memories of this show and you bring them all back to life without jumping the shark!
Haha! 🦈
That's a good bet on what that room was used for.
Thank you so much bring so much Joy to a lot of people thank you!
Thank you! That's very kind.
I got to tell you.. there was a girl on set (I work as a stand in) her father worked on bewitch and used to take her there as a little girl.. I told her I've heard your Channel and she had the opportunity to relive her happiest days now that her dad is gone..so you are thank to you she is very happy memories

Awesome as usual Marina! Patiently awaiting your tour of Collinwood from Dark Shadows! 😂
It will happen. 😊

Glad you liked it.
Hi Marina, I have been watching the old episodes of Dynasty. What a beautiful estate. Could you do a tour of the Dynasty mansion and a little history of the home? Thank-you so much.
I hope to get to that home.
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane, Thank-you so much. I can hardly wait. ❤❤❤
OMG! Was that a picture of Ron Howard just before going into the parent's room?! Also the Blueberry Hill album cover, Nice touch!
Yes, it was Ron. Glad you noticed the Blueberry Hill cover. 😊
Just ordered two of your prints (the Petrie home and the Ricardo’s city home). It’s birthday gift for myself and can’t wait to receive them!

Would love to see Gilligan's Island huts and general area layout.

I hope you do the house from too close for comfort that house is amazing

Great work, as always. I would love to see the Golden Girls house - never heard of a lanai until I saw that show.
Hope to someday. It's not currently on my list. Little House is up next.
I love the red Pyrex bowl on the kitchen counter. No 50's home would be w/out the original 4-pc bowl set. I saw them in an old newspaper ad for only $3.50. I have the original set from Goodwill. Love your work, Marina!
I would love a set. My parents got married in 1952 and got a set. They still have them, but they've lost most of their color.

I'll definitely be doing Gilmore Girls. 😊
Love all your tours! Hoping you’ll consider doing The Odd Couple apartment. It’s a favorite of mine. I’m so curious about what the kitchen would look like in reality. (Even now, decades later, if I could choose a TV home for my own, it would be Oscar and Felix’s place.)
I will definitely be doing that home!
