There's also supposed to be a large closet on the same side of the condo as Fraiser's room, to be used as a laundry room. Frasier told Daphne that washer/dryer units weren't allowed in Elliott Bay Towers, only the community laundry facility, and instead he had a hat room. Years later, Cam Winston's washer leaked water into Frasier's condo. Daphne was not pleased. Thank you for a GREAT tour of my favorite condo ever!!!!
Wonderful, Marina, but now you simply HAVE to do either Nile’s luxury apartment at the Montana or his mansion with Maris! I don’t know if you’ve seen the new remake of Frazier but it certainly doesn’t have the quality of the original.
One of my favorite shows! And you did it justice. One house I would love for you to explore is the "Golden Girl's" house. I always wondered what exactly is down that hall off the living room. I also like how deep he set goes beyond the living room. If you look farther behind the couch, it looks like part of the roof is glass. In one episode, I remember Sophia sitting at a little table in the dark. I cant remember the exact episode. Anyway, keep these videos coming.
I believe it's the episode where Rose loses her job at grief counseling... one of her rejects calls her, waking up Dorothy and Blanche which sends them to the living room because as Blanche puts it she's "as jumpy as a virgin at a prison rodeo" and where they start talking and Sophia replies from in the dark.
These tours are addictive! My vote for the next one is KING OF QUEENS! Although Seinfeld may get more votes for its popularity, the set for that sitcom wasn’t half as interesting as Doug and Carrie’s home. That kitchen with the pass-through, Arthur’s basement/laundry, Carrie’s office, Doug’s garage/man cave… that patch of yard between kitchen entry and garage… love the Heffernan’s house!

The view from the balcony makes this one of my favorite TV shows apartments along with the Mary Tyler Moore show's view too. Thank you for all the time and dedication you put into these videos!

Marina, you added a door across the hallway from Martin's room. It seems to me that might have been a bathroom or a laundry room. Thanks for doing Frasier's apartment, which is my favorite TV apartment! My favorite TV house is the Golden Girls house! I just love big and spacious homes that have a lot of room to it.
Thanks for another great video and tour! You always manage to unpack so much for us in such a little time! For your next project, I still cast my vote for Jessica's house on Murder, She Wrote.
@@jillv4006 Yes, it was featured heavily in an episode called "Crossed Up" (3:13). An upstairs guest room is shown in "If the Shoe Fits" (6:13). Other parts of the upstairs are also shown in "The Szechuan Dragon" (6:16). And on the first floor, there's that long, elusive hallway that goes from the entryway straight back to the dining room and kitchen, bypassing the living room. In almost every episode, that hallway is overlooked and everyone travels through the living room; however, in "Hit, Run and Homicide" (1:6), that hallway seems to get extensive use and viewers get to see that path quite nicely. (I'm giving you lots of hints, @MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane 🙂 .)
This was such a visual treat Marina. This apartment has to be one of the most impressive set designs ever featured in a sit-com.I'd love you to show us the interiors of 'The Keeping Up Appearances' home .This was a very successful BBC comedy which ran through from the early nineties for five seasons.

The moodiness is a strange mix of warmth and mystery that I love!
You do such amazing work ! The different views of the apartment did not disappoint ! This would have to be my favourite video of yours after the bewitched tour.
Magnificent tour of a fabulous apartment on a memorable show!🌟 Could never afford it, but I can afford a tossed salad and scrambled eggs. 😋 Thanks ever so much! 🌹 My request would be a tour of the Sheffield residence on “The Nanny.” It would admittedly be a massive challenge, probably a 2-parter. The exterior is at 7 E. 75th Street.
I was just enjoying this video again and caught something something I hadn't seen the first time. On Daphne's mirror, there's a photo of Jane Leeves and her husband Marshall Coben. Nice little Easter Egg, Marina!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Not to knock the talent of the cast, crew, and writers, but I think much of Frasier's success was due to the careful crafting of the Frasier universe before episode 1 was even taped. Including the designing of this gorgeous set that told its own story. I wish more shows, including the Frasier reboot, would take that time and consideration to ensure a believable and solid foundation for the viewers. Everything about this show was top notch. And this video is really amazing, great job!
Hi Marina!! I absolutely LOVE your channel!! I just discovered it yesterday and have already watched eight videos!! So many great and classic shows that you've covered thus far. I love how you add the ceilings and fourth walls as well. Makes me feel like I could live there. Of particular interest to me was FRASIER, as that's one of my personal favorite shows. I have a few requests for the future videos: 1️⃣. THE COSBY SHOW (the house, basement, and Cliff's office) 2️⃣. THE GOLDEN GIRLS (including the lanai and the girls's bedrooms) 3️⃣. CHEERS Thanks and keep these gems coming!! 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I haven’t yet watched, but I was so compelled to go ahead and *thank you* for creating this!! Frasier is my absolute favorite modern sitcom, so I’m overjoyed that you recreated his apartment and already know it’s going to be incredible like all your other videos. 💕✨

Your effort is apparent. Thank you! I always wondered about that little hallway on the way to Daphne's bedroom. Maybe it was storage for all their sherry😂.
Hi Marina, I do love your work. I always get excited when you post a new one 😊. I have reached out to you before about doing Three and a Half Men's beach house. I hope that one's on your list ❤
The living room would not have had the TV simply sitting on the floor. It would have been housed in an entertainment center. The same with Frazier's TV in his bedroom. I always envisioned Martin's room past Frazier's to the left. Where did the door lead to that is in the back of the kitchen? A cubby hole storage room? Yes, the laundry area IN the apartment? Nify video!

I’ve seen fan created blueprints that show Frasier’s room on the right and Martin’s on the left. That makes more sense than how you have it, especially as Frasier’s balcony would be in Martin’s room! Also Frasier’s bathroom was down the corridor where you put the dressing area
One of your best! And the music you chose really captured the mood of that wonderfully quirky original theme song. A recommendation for a future project: I'd love to see the apartment from 1944's classic film noir, murder mystery, love story "Laura."
I'm glad you liked the tour. I have made many other homes too. You can see all of the other TV and movie home tours I've made here: th-cam.com/users/MarinaCoavideos?view_as=subscriber
Nice job. I saw the FRASIER set when I took a tour of Paramount Studios in Sept. 2000, during Season 8, but I don't remember much of it other than the living room w/ the fireplace & the radio booth. I imagine some scenes had to be pre-filmed before the audience was present. Have you done the CHEERS bar? I think that was the only prominent set on that show, since the homes of the characters weren't seen that much.
I commented on another channel not long ago that set designers for Frasier hit the ball way out of the park with this one. Context is everything, and not only did they capture Frasier’s personality perfectly, they also captured the personality of the Pacific Northwest. Speaking as a Pacific Northwesterner myself, if I didn’t know any better, I would insist that the entire show was filmed in Seattle. You wouldn’t be able to convince me otherwise… The textures, the materials, the colors, the modernity - all of it spells Pacific Northwest. Alas, it was all filmed inside a Paramount soundstage in Los Angeles. Obviously, between the perspective shown of downtown Seattle and the floor plan, one can tell none of it was plausible. But it was well worth suspending belief!! It was supposed to be a downtown luxury high rise called “Elliot Bay Tower,” but for locals, the view outside Frasier’s condo suggested it was located on the hill in Queen Anne. As I said, who cares? The show was worth suspending belief for! If I may say so, I think the view outside the condo was absolutely the grounding centerpiece that gave us the context we needed which placed Frasier and the gang in Seattle. The reboot has Frasier living back in Boston. I’m sorry, but my memory of him simply does not associate him with Boston. To this day, I cannot drive up to Seattle, walk around the Queen Anne neighborhood where the backdrop was shot, or walk around the Space Needle without associating them with Frasier Crane. In fact, I may be the only one, but to me, both Seattle and Frasier Crane are synonymous. Sure, I remember him from Cheers (Boston) but he stole my heart in Seattle. I hope someday Seattle can get him back. My favorite space in the whole condo has to be the kitchen. It’s such a cozy little niche, but it overlooks the iconic view (however obstructed by cabinetry) of the Space Needle. I could very easily find myself sitting in that space in the evenings, playing some nice Horace Silver in the CD Player, clutching a mug of hot mint tea. It’s a space that gives you that sort of “tucked away” feeling. The art deco/Pac NW/high style/eclectic decor is absolutely timeless to me. Oh, and I wanted to say I absolutely love what you did putting that sideboard and shelving into the kitchen, just beyond the range. It’s very modern, and fits the theme of the rest of the house. *Extremely* plausible. This upload was just so lovely, Marina.

I'd love to see you do the apartments from Mad About You and Will and Grace -- both, coincidentally, comedy shows that also had long runs and reboots. I don't think you've done Kathleen Kelly's apartment from You've Got Mail either, which is another of my favorites, along with the beach house in Something's Gotta Give. I'm glad your explanation agreed with my hazy memory that Martin's room was "next to" Frasier's, down that same hallway. So funny the liberties they take in the fantasy design of sets, and most of us never notice that things don't make sense!
There's also supposed to be a large closet on the same side of the condo as Fraiser's room, to be used as a laundry room. Terrific video. Of course as a huge fan I watched to see if any details were wrong but you nailed everything perfectly. The models are perfection.
@@joecab1 Thank you!
Glad your back, and an Excellent Jobs as usual! Thank you :)
Thank you! It had been awhile. It felt good to finally make a tour again.
Oh and i vote for the golden girls house sometime! 🏠
Yes. It's now on my list.
Please do the interior of Southfork Ranch?
Definitely want to get there some day.
Oh I agree! But did we ever see Jessica’s bedroom? I can’t recall.
Thank you! And, thanks for the suggestion.
@@britanniau.k.4352 One of my all-time favorite comedies. We quote it all the time around here. "We shan't be needing that Richard." I want to get to the Bucket's home someday.
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLaneOh, that's fantastic Marina. The location house in Binley Woods, Coventry has already had a front extension, which has changed the footprint from the house we see in the series. There are however, plans of the house posted on some fan websites in which you can see the original floor plan.
@@britanniau.k.4352 Good tip! Thanks.
Oh my goodness! I asked you to do this one. I'm so excited!
Hope you like it!
I just adore your channel! I would love to see a tour of the Bennet’s home from the movie Pride & Prejudice (the version with Kiera Knightly) please and thank you! ❤😊
Good choice!
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLaneI have recently found myself in a situation of owning a home that is almost devoid of furnishings... a blank slate, as it is. I'm so excited to make this place my own and I am obsessed with the colors and style of the Bennet's home, which surprised me since I wouldn't normally think of that blue color. The moodiness is a strange mix of warmth and mystery that I love!
@@FryInTheOnionRings Oooo! Love this. Now I'm going to have to go check out that blue.
you have to do Who's the boss? house next 😀
I'll get there someday. 😊
You do such amazing work ! The different views of the apartment did not disappoint ! This would have to be my favourite video of yours after the bewitched tour.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really love seeing Frasier Apartment Tout CG Tour.
Always hoped you would do Frasier’s apartment. ❤
😊
One of your best video. I love Frasier Apartment.
Magnificent tour of a fabulous apartment on a memorable show!🌟
Could never afford it, but I can afford a tossed salad and scrambled eggs. 😋
Thanks ever so much!
🌹
My request would be a tour of the Sheffield residence on “The Nanny.”
It would admittedly be a massive challenge, probably a 2-parter. The exterior is at 7 E. 75th Street.
I want to do that home. It'll happen at some point.
As usual, you did an amazing and beautiful job. Congratulations.
My choice for the next house would be The green acres.
THANKS.
Good choice! I hope to get to that home this year.
I was just enjoying this video again and caught something something I hadn't seen the first time. On Daphne's mirror, there's a photo of Jane Leeves and her husband Marshall Coben. Nice little Easter Egg, Marina!! 👏🏻👏🏻
@@mattbahr9678 You have a sharp eye. You're the first one to notice that!
Thank you. And I agree - they pulled out all the stops. By the way, the Production Designer said he was given a large budget - $250,000. It shows.
I have a few requests for the future videos:
1️⃣. THE COSBY SHOW (the house, basement, and Cliff's office)
2️⃣. THE GOLDEN GIRLS (including the lanai and the girls's bedrooms)
3️⃣. CHEERS
Thanks and keep these gems coming!! 👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
They're all on my list 😊. I'm glad you found the channel.
Hello Marina!
I really enjoy seeing these homes! Please try to do The Eight Is Enough home soon.
I love that home. It's not on my short list, but I will get to it
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane thank you!
I haven’t yet watched, but I was so compelled to go ahead and *thank you* for creating this!! Frasier is my absolute favorite modern sitcom, so I’m overjoyed that you recreated his apartment and already know it’s going to be incredible like all your other videos. 💕✨
Thank you. It is such a great show. And set.
@@MarinaCoatesMockingbirdLane I just finished the video and I can’t tell you how many times I squealed with excitement, because I absolutely lost track. Phenomenal work, as usual. Thank you so much for allowing us to explore that amazing apartment.
Thank you so much for doing this apartment, I asked a few time for you to do it. I love your videos, you are so talented. This was one of my all time favorite shows.
Thank you.
Wonderful series. I have an impossible request. The Shady Rest Hotel from Petticoat Junction. I also loved the California home from My 3 Sons.
Both are on my list. 😊
I would love to see the apartments from the Big bang theory❤ Leonard and Sheldon's apartment, penny's apartment, and even the Wolowitz house!
Fun idea. And I think that's the first time it's been suggested. Thanks.

I so enjoy your videos. It always amazes me how set designers seem to completely disregard the plausibility of a building actually shaped like the house/apartment they have created 😂
I'm glad you're enjoying these. 😊
I had a job where we sold that sofa, and it was called "Niles" Good sofa by Pacer Furniture.
Cool.
Omg one of my favorite tv shows so can’t wait to watch this
Your effort is apparent. Thank you! I always wondered about that little hallway on the way to Daphne's bedroom. Maybe it was storage for all their sherry😂.
That works. 😁
Incredible job!
Thank you.
My husband and I rewatched the series in the latter part of last year so this was really fun to see the layout description! Love your videos!
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
green acres Please . love that Show and thanks for what u do :) brilliant Marina :) Love u
Green Acres is on my short list. 😊
Love this set and the artwork in the “apartment”. I also love the set for the 1970’s series “Upstairs Downstairs”. A house in Eaton Square, London.
I'll check it out. It's been awhile since I watched that show.

Thank you.
Great tour! Any chance of The Stratford Inn from Newhart ?
Well, you're in luck. Sort of. I did the main lobby area as a bonus at the end of my tour of the apartment from The Bob Newhart Show.
Well done! What a fun place to explore
I looooove this apartment. I had wanted to get to it for years.
Hi Marina, I do love your work. I always get excited when you post a new one 😊. I have reached out to you before about doing Three and a Half Men's beach house. I hope that one's on your list ❤
This is great. I found your channel while searching for Frasier clips. I still watch it every day.
I'm off to the Cleaver house after this.
Welcome aboard! I'm glad you found the channel.
nice allways loved the balcony terrace views from the sets
Marina, thank you for your videos, I vote for Green Acres. I would also really love to see the farms from Lassie and The Real McCoys. Thanks.
People keep recommending Green Acres tonight. Hmm. Hopefully soon.
The King of Queens would be nice to see. Love your tours, thank you!
Nify video!
Glad you liked it. 😊

Thank you so much for doing these! I'd like to humbly cast my vote for "the King of Queens" since there were many layout issues between interior and exterior shots.
I will definitely be doing that home.
I continue to enjoy your design videos; it's inspired me to include elements of TV/movie set design in my own home! Thank you for sharing and continuing to bring to life the homes we love.
I love that! My hope is that viewers will enjoy the tour, but also pick up on the unique design principles used by set designers.
YAY MARINA IS BACK 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥰
😀
Any chance of the Robin's Nest & Magnum's pad from Magnum??
That could happen. That was a cool set. I have a long list I can't wait to get to. But that would be a fun one.

I would love that one too!
I’ve seen fan created blueprints that show Frasier’s room on the right and Martin’s on the left. That makes more sense than how you have it, especially as Frasier’s balcony would be in Martin’s room! Also Frasier’s bathroom was down the corridor where you put the dressing area
exactly
One of your best! And the music you chose really captured the mood of that wonderfully quirky original theme song. A recommendation for a future project: I'd love to see the apartment from 1944's classic film noir, murder mystery, love story "Laura."
Oooh. Love that idea. ❤
Simply amazing to see this!

Wow. I would have loved to have seen this set in real life. I want to do the Cheers bar someday.
That was an interesting tour! Love this channel.
Thank you. Glad you found the channel.
Glad you liked this tour. And it was great to hear insights from someone who lives in the area.
Great job of a great series home
Loved this tour! Thank you. It was such a great show
Glad you liked the tour. And, yes, it was a great show. 😊
Kinda makes you wonder how Frasier got that piano into his apartment in the first place. 🤔
Good question. I hadn't thought of that.

I really appreciate how much work and attention to detail you put into these recreations! I always wondered about Martin's room too. The Big Bang Theory universe would be another one I'd love to see you explore!
Great suggestions. Thanks 😊
My FAVORITE!!

I've had a lot of requests for that home and it's one of my favorites, too. I plan on doing it someday.

I plan on it!
Love tour
Thank you.
I'm glad your explanation agreed with my hazy memory that Martin's room was "next to" Frasier's, down that same hallway. So funny the liberties they take in the fantasy design of sets, and most of us never notice that things don't make sense!
Awesome, Frasier is my favorite show!
Love this show!
