    What headphones do you guys use? And have you used studio emulation software like this? Let us know in the comments.

      I'm using the Blue MixFi's which aren't that flat! Haha they have an extended low end, which frankly I like! Also, everyone on our team has them so we can hear things the same way.

      I use Koss Pro/4 AA and AAA headphones, which apparently are too old to be included in any emulation software I've looked at.

      @@CareyJGibson I remember Koss! They were good affordable headphones

      I kept putting off buying the HD650s until my local music store was out of stock. Now I may have to wait months before I can mull it over again.

    Interesting that so much of this tech is coming out now! It was shunned years ago.

    I use the Audio Technica ATH-R70x’s. I have used Sonarworks with them as well. The DearVR looks like a nice alternative to the Sonarworks.

    This is pretty cool! Reaper seems to handle it pretty well

    Practically how does this compare to using VSX? Looking at the product I am wondering if this might be close for a lot less though I am enjoying my VSX system it really isn't cheap and the headphones don't sound as good without VSX so I can't really use them anywhere (compared to my m50s which I'd check mixes on my phone with while travelling).

      I'm hoping to try the VSX soon as well!

      The VSX are really good, but they’re a complete system with a much higher price tag

    So, Adam, would you say that this is better for diagnostic use than for actual mixing?

      @@adamsteelproducer when you turned the perspective knob it went the wrong way

    • @adamsteelproducer
      @adamsteelproducer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah no, that’s a misunderstanding. It’s not a pan knob, when I turn my head left the right will be louder because the “speakers” are both on that side of my head
