It has "more hype" because social media and youtube so the game is international. MvC2 had a lot more hype because it was always in the arcades or in a venue with a bunch of players around.
such a godlike match! The tech, the blocking, the setups. holy shit. this match made me realize though that if ryu's air tatsu hit as a overhead he could have ridiculous potential
Back for my annual rewatch. 16:09 "Moons be training in Lake Ronkonkoma" FUNNIEST SHIT STEVE EVER SAID, not sure how I never caught that til now. These two on commentary is so damn hype.
I keep coming back to this match every few months. This is the sexiest exhibition match so far in this game. The amount of awesome tech showcased here is mind-boggling. That Nova combo at ~15:45 is so fucking godlike.
"that dog is alive by the skin of his fucken ass cheeks" oh man, I usually eat dinner while watching this for entertainment.. That comment made me almost flip my plate hahhahahaha
This has to be the best match I've ever seen, the tech and the blocking was just unreal... I wish I had that kind of dexterity and control over my characters.
They explained this a long while ago. Fuzzy guard actually, based off what i heard, means keeping the opponent in a standing position even when theyre crouch blocking, such as when using certain assists such as cold star which forces a standing block string.
No, fuzzies is when you're in a block string, you will stay in the position you last blocked. For example, if you're blocking low, as long as you're in the blockstring and if you try to block high, you'll still look as if you're blocking low. However, when you're in fuzzyguard in that situation, you'll be open for a low.
I found out that before he shoots the beam super, he lays down a gravamatric shield which goes just outside of the screen on the right side end, which happens to be active even after the beam super finishes and Ryu bounces on it after for a true combo.
Ray Ray is such a genius He noticed how great TA Moons' blocking so he started grabbing more. Nothing much but it is great seeing him changing his strategy throughout the set.
Yipes is like that flavor stuff you add to water... just makes everything taste yummy and happy. Add a Steve to the mix and you have some godlike commentary.
I think this game has just entered the era of Nova..I can tell we are gonna see alot of him more than we do now. With so much undiscovered tech its gonna take a while for this game to die.
"fuzzy guard" refers to a character appearing to be blocking either crouching or standing despite them not actually blocking that way, and remaining in the state they are in when first blocking, due to blockstun. . . . at least that's my understanding.
why cant we see more of these kinda fight at the final instead of us going like "oh, yeah, uh huh, rainin' bullets, mmhm, ah, that's cheap"? i was on the edge of my sit the entire time!!
They're hard-to-block set-ups because with so many hits happening at once, its hard to tell how to block and what to push-block, like your vision is "fuzzy". Hence the word.
Moons keeps trying to do that energy javelin mixup to no avail. Rayray knows how to block it really well. More impressive than that, RayRay's sentinel rocks.
UMVC3 is the greatest superhero fighting game EVER Nothing more HYPE than this game MVCI is not BETTER than UMVC3
Donald Anderson Yup, MVCI’s neutral is straight ASS
It has "more hype" because social media and youtube so the game is international. MvC2 had a lot more hype because it was always in the arcades or in a venue with a bunch of players around.
MvC2 is back at Evo 2020. It's Mahvel baby!
@@ByWhatDesign sadly no
Years later and I still come back to watch and study this epic match
such a godlike match!
These two on commentary is so damn hype.
moons is tight cause he always looks bored/stoned but he's always got that crazy tech
I keep coming back to this match every few months. This is the sexiest exhibition match so far in this game. The amount of awesome tech showcased here is mind-boggling. That Nova combo at ~15:45 is so fucking godlike.
ha bun
Damn this match is old but it was pretty hype.
This was a good ass match we need more of these Classic Historical Battles
15:47 - 16:08 The sickest Nova sequence I've ever seen
man we need this back in the scene to keep this game alive
i miss players like MegaSteve, Moons and Yipes with Dante/Vergil/Magneto
This is that real Mahvel shit. Crispy, hype, no filler, Pringles, salty, respect to Chris G, but no soul spam. Just tech and execution
Moons's taskmaster is godlike!! One of the best matches I've ever seen
"that dog is alive by the skin of his fucken ass cheeks"
oh man, I usually eat dinner while watching this for entertainment.. That comment made me almost flip my plate hahhahahaha
Love watching both of these guys, was so happy to see this FT5
13:35 "SOCK'EM BOPPERS!"
I died! XD
best set i've ever seen out of the thousand plus marvel vids i've seen.... this is just pure epic
One of the best match ups I've seen.
The matches were fantastic and Yipes and Megaman Steve had me actually lol'ing.
This is got to be one of the hypest FT5 sets I've ever seen! I love both of these players, but Moons was especially impressive!
good game...
This is hands down the best marvel play I've seen thus far bar none!!!
CANT SLEEP ON RAYRAYS SENTINEL
This has to be the best match I've ever seen, the tech and the blocking was just unreal... I wish I had that kind of dexterity and control over my characters.
This was good stuf. I found myself saying "daaaaamnn" quite often in this. More than any other video I've watched on this channel.
8:47 the mystery hit Yipes mentions is when Moons uses gravimetric pulse in an attempt to continue the combo after the beam super
Damn you guys uploaded this quick, good shit.
"Moons lookin bored as fuck right now" Hilarious!!!
They explained this a long while ago. Fuzzy guard actually, based off what i heard, means keeping the opponent in a standing position even when theyre crouch blocking, such as when using certain assists such as cold star which forces a standing block string.
Yipes got that gdlk commentary! this may be the hypest set i've ever seen!
Love watching Moon play
Now see this is how you play Nova. Definitely one of the most underrated players. Love his use of the seldom used Grav Pulse.
Damn, Moons Nova is CRISP. That movement is smooth, those confirms are solid and those combos are GODLIKE.
17:44 Double Sentinel Bubble tech stolen. Gonna surprise some my local boys tonight. Shotos and Sentinel FTW!
I found out that before he shoots the beam super, he lays down a gravamatric shield which goes just outside of the screen on the right side end, which happens to be active even after the beam super finishes and Ryu bounces on it after for a true combo.
Oh man, this Curleh is provin' to be super hype like always!
that nova tech and blocking from the gods! WOW
6:42..."initiating boot into face"
Two players I can learn from; Moons' Nova and RayRay's Sent.
Ray Ray is such a genius
He noticed how great TA Moons' blocking so he started grabbing more.
Nothing much but it is great seeing him changing his strategy throughout the set.
that opening combo to the third round was godlike
Yipes is like that flavor stuff you add to water... just makes everything taste yummy and happy. Add a Steve to the mix and you have some godlike commentary.
WOW... best fuckin match i've seen. sick new combos, great defense on both sides, great commentating, real technical... just sick
Yo teamspooky on the board with the lightning fast uploads
17:27 Never seen that one before.
Dat Saltinel got upgraded.
I'm favouriting this now great fight from both players moons surprised the hell outta me
This was sick!!!! i watched it on stream!!!1 yipes and chris getting mad hyped OOOOOH OOOOOOH OOOOOOH!
In emergency situations, we'll have to call RayRay MayDay
At 08:48, what happened was Moons put the shield out right before the super and it was still up after the super finished
Moons was lookin so good the whole night. Think he smoked some fire before he came in the building
best match I've seen in an while.
"Frying pan! GODDAMN! It's not even morning time!"
wow so fast with the upload.. tnx Spooky
This match was electrifying. So hype.
Damn Ryu and his new cancelling tools, he ain't so ordinary anymore.
RayRay the underdog! Everyone was on TA Moon's side and RayRay just shut them up! Ryu FTW!!!
As long as Yipes is commentating nobody should want to skip straight to the match.
I love moons taskman!!! Ive mained him since mvc3 and this blew my mind!
This is the best exhibition match since Alucard Vs. Marlinpie from Curleh 2.
15:50 That was clean as hell.
after this exhibition Ray Ray and Moonz went on to make top 8 at Final Round
This set was godlike, moons with some sick tech
I think this game has just entered the era of Nova..I can tell we are gonna see alot of him more than we do now. With so much undiscovered tech its gonna take a while for this game to die.
best game ive seen in a long time.... why cant chris g play like this.. not hating chris g!! much love brother
this match is too op, cant stop watching.
megaman steves parrot skill level is over 9000!
repeating everything yipes says!
Megaman Steve + Yipes = Awesome Commentary.
"fuzzy guard" refers to a character appearing to be blocking either crouching or standing despite them not actually blocking that way, and remaining in the state they are in when first blocking, due to blockstun.
. . . at least that's my understanding.
I often wonder if that Penzoil from back in the Xvsf days lol
why cant we see more of these kinda fight at the final instead of us going like "oh, yeah, uh huh, rainin' bullets, mmhm, ah, that's cheap"?
i was on the edge of my sit the entire time!!
best match in a long time.
Moons got those creative shit, so did Ray.
" That doggy is alive by the skin of her fucking ass cheeks " fucking priceless.
i was dying at the sentinel commentary.
Ray Ray doesn't pilot a Gundam, He's piloting a Nightmare!
Yipes by far my favorite on the mic!
Steve's Sentinel impressions were hilarious
@ Teamspooky: You guys should do a "TOP10 Combos of the Curleh Mustache"!!
Thumbs up if you guys agree!
12:13 "WOW! He just slid into action!"
lol a wild WinRich appeared!!! 6:58
I've never heard of moon but he's really entertaining to watch
Ladies and Gentleman, this is how you play Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.
that. I love the tech his team has.
Every time I watch moonz it makes me want to love again
They're hard-to-block set-ups because with so many hits happening at once, its hard to tell how to block and what to push-block, like your vision is "fuzzy". Hence the word.
'he def hit the hyperbolic chamber for that sh*t' LMAO
I swear man yipes just makes everything better.
any other commentator + Yipes = Awesome Commentary
"If you look under Ryu's feet, you best believe you gonna see BLACK"
Centurion Arts!! Hype-ass match!
Yipes + Tasty Steve = Over
We need that!!
So many Centurion Rushes, so little time. Its Delicious :D
Don't sleep on Moons. #RESPECT
That whole set was sooooo sick
Yipes's Sentinel voice destroys me LOL
Moon's Nova is like Marlin's Viper: It makes you say "dat technology!"
Moons keeps trying to do that energy javelin mixup to no avail. Rayray knows how to block it really well. More impressive than that, RayRay's sentinel rocks.
yipez is still wondering "what was that" at 8:50 and i am too. I wonder if he could get another super after that.
gravimetric pulse. you can see nova put it up before the super.
Dat Nova centurion combo.
Shoutouts to the DBZ reference.
