It's true that you don't see a whole lot of Amy and C. Vipers in teams nowadays but the characters he's using aren't really low-tier. Amy is mid-tier and C. VIper is High tier. C.Viper would actually be the best character in the game if it weren't for the fact you have to have incredibly fast fingers to play with her. Not even Marlin with his excellent execution can bring out her full capacity. This is why many people prefer using characters like vergil instead of viper.
To be honest the best way, to be absolutely sure, would be to ask either of them. Nonetheless I do not care about their personal lives. If those lines prove that they did break up and because you say so... okay I guess. I'm wrong and you're right, the end. :)

dude I swear no one understands how to easily beat marlins team. SNAP IN THE DOG! not because the dogs a threat, but because it's the heart of his team. The dog sets up unblockables for viper and doom, snap it in and you'll solve that problem. As well as putting viper into anchor during the snap, which she sucks at so that also benefits you. Basically....why does no one snap in the dog?
