Having the word "ULTIMATE" in an animal crossing title makes me instantly believe its a fake leak LOL
yeah, “ultimate” would not be a word you’d see in an AC title, it’d be moreso relating, at least loosely, to housing or setting. (i.e: City Folk/Let’s Go To The City (there is a city, duh) or New Horizons (the island was a brand new addition, because there used to be towns))
Fr it sounds so fake and uncreative 😭
Considering we're currently living through dystopian times, that word just screams... IDK what it screams, maybe it's just the painting The Scream.
It also doesn't sound fun. It sound like GTA but for kids. Whoever made this up doesn't understand the sim part of the game. We want mini games and more to do with friends, but it shouldn't be the whole focus. Also how big would this city have to be if cars are used. I'd rather have an open world to explore to find materials, bugs or new villagers. But without fighting and death. lol
i feel like if rideable cars were in animal crossing they would just allow you to sit in them and turn the wheel/ turn lights on like other furniture items can (i have only played new leaf)
The trend of AC with New Horizons made the series even more of a ‘customize everything!’ sort of game. I don’t want the series to go backwards, but I also hope that a balance is struck that keeps good features while re-centering the feeling of ‘moving to a new place’ - I don’t want to be god, or even the mayor, I just want to be a villager again:((
I'm hoping that Nintendo does make a New Animal Crossing game sooner.
I actually wouldn't like vehicles and skyscrapers it don't feel like animal crossing to me. Bob's gang!
...For me the vehicles depends - A larger town/island/whatever and something like a bicycle to speed up getting around it would feel fine to me. The sort of metropolis implied by skyscrapers alongside needing motor vehicles to get around would be far too much.
While I do agree that AC probably won't explore driving cars and big skyscrapers. However, I can see them delving into a more urban environment. Something more complicated/expansive than the plaza in City Folk, but not a full city or anything. But yeah, I don't believe this leak. I just don't think we would know if something is releasing in 2026 or not.
i really just want animal crossing to stay a small town and it to feel homey not large scale
At most, if it is large scale: I’d hope it’d be more areas surrounding our quaint village to explore and collect more bugs/fish/fossils.
Growing up, the mountain/hill areas surrounding early games always intrigued me as to what was just beyond the border.
Exactly
I find it weird when fans talk about wanting to see a future Animal Crossing game possibly move away from a forest biome setting when the series is literally called _Animal Forest_ in its native language.
Bob’s gang. I’m not sure if I like the idea of having a city because it would be very similar to Sims. I like Sims but I kinda like AC more. I want more mini games, more dialogue, more Nook’s store upgrades, etc.
Bob's Gang. I really hope it doesn't turn into some unthinkable GTA type nightmare. I'd love for more of the villagers' personalities shine through/be more sassy. Bring back the life sim element and what truly gave this series it's idenity. But having some control over where villagers move is a nice idea. I'm probably not the only one who screamed and almost threw their 3DS when a house blocked off access to a bridge in New Leaf.
I figured if anything we would most likely get the Mario kart 8 deluxe treatment where they would just give us a bigger island and more new furniture, would actually make more sense since they dropped the ball on giving us more stuff in new horizons
I still prefer to have an island as I grew up with wild world, new leaf, let’s go to the city and new horizons. I just want a mish mash of everything and more character options.
I also prefer to have the city as a travelling option kinda? Not the main thing if that makes sense.
The 'contents' of the leak seemed strange for Animal Crossing, if I'm being honest. I think we may have some time to wait, but we'll get a new Animal Crossing before toooo long on the new system.
I don’t want a city scenario. Then you might as well play the Sims. All i want to see is being able to talk to our villagers.
I feel like a city area should function more as Main Street in new leaf except maybe and apartment complex with extra villagers. Ideally the main part you could customize like new horizons and you could have your core villagers that live in town and they will always ask before they leave, and then the apartment villagers could leave whenever they want like in New Leaf, it should be a perfect balance between old and new. Give us part we can customize and give us a part where we kinda have to deal with what we get.
That sounds horrible more villagers I will not care about at all because they are just used as set dressing. Having empty villagers just piled in a apartment building makes them less important or interesting. Visiting villagers on main street were at least a fun suprise. You meet new people and villagers you didn’t know about yet. Having the same ones stuck in there makes them feel more like objects.
@@JayJay-gj9bu that’s not what I said lmao. I don’t think you’re considering that I also implied these villagers would be different from your main villagers, could leave at the drop of the pen like in new leaf and obviously they wouldn’t be “piled”into and apartment building. They’d live in the city area, I’d also hope we’d get more personality types as well, but I did not mention that. Either way yes I want better villagers than were present in New Horizons and obviously New Leaf, but that’s not what my comment was about. I was simply suggesting how a city area could be implemented as more of a place you visit so that you don’t lose the small town feel an Animal Crossing game should have. It’s obvious the franchise can go two places from here either more like New Horizons, or more like older games, I was suggesting the city as compromise where we get our nice little town to customize, but then we get the city which we have a lot less influence over, and we function as just another visitor.
Bob’s gang- I said this once in a reply, but would like to reiterate
If a future Animal Crossing title is large scale: I’d hope it’d be more areas surrounding our quaint village to explore and collect more bugs/fish/fossils. (Of course, with an upgrade of villager interactions and personalities)
Growing up, the mountain/hill areas surrounding early games always intrigued me as to what was just beyond the border.
I would hope a city area would be an optional little hub like in City Folk or the Main Street in New Leaf, not THE main focus.
I think a cool idea for the next AC game (in my opinion) would have New Horizons kinda be mixed with the old formula. You're building a little town from scratch, helping new animals move in, adding new businesses, ect. I think it'd be nice if we had whole new shops getting added too. I think it'd be fun if DIY was kept in the game, and of course adding back the terraforming tools. Custom pathing would also be easier to add to your game without having to download like 9 different pieces of it. I think more story or something of the like would be better to have, since I believe that's one of New Horizons' greatest flaws - there's nothing to really do post credits, so it'd be best to add more things for the player to do. Maybe we can allow the town to have more villagers, perhaps 13-14 would be a good number, so your town can go from a small home in the forest to a full community. A lot of elements from HHP would be kept in the game too, as well as new items, more customizable features outside of homes, more online features, more places to visit outside of the town, and obviously more personality to villagers to make them feel unique. I also think it'd be cool if Nintendo readded some forgotten villagers from the older games, but I unfortunately doubt that'll happen.
I am glad that ya brought us back to reality. Though, there are SOME things from this rumor I hope are legit (mainly making your own shops and owning vehicles), most of it seems outrageous like the skyscraper thing.
I would love to have something a bit more interactive. But I agree about not having sky scrapers.
I think you are probably correct.
I love how your island looks, also great video
As long as I can still decorate outside and terraform and everything we can do in NH we are Gucci... Maybe rugs outside?
I theorized myself that they might do a hub area where you could interact with players online. It would probably be Nintendo level restricted, but maybe a place people could display their custom designs or swap/sell items. It feels like a natural progression considering the fans did it themselves for ACNH, and if they want to get ahead of people selling things for real money, they could make it a mechanic in game to sell items for bells or special points (ie nook miles.)
I think the driving car thing could work if it was a small mini game. Like if there was an online city it could be like tortimer island with the mini games.
WHAT!? NO!? 😢😢
WHY!!!
I hope it's not a city but more a village or something?
I'm too fond of Island life 😂
I willl probably still be playing acnh when the next game comes out. Bob's Gang!
Dreams crushed, dying emotionally! 🫠
The moving cars and skyscrappers is what breaks the believability for me. While I'm not an OG Animal Crossing fan, I know people who have been seriously involved in the fandom since game cube days. However, the sky scrapers and moving cars, just feel the opposite of what animal crossing's vibe is. Maybe they have a go-kart racing minigame?? But that is different than cars- it's a minigame at it's core.
Wow
Bob's Gang! Love your videos, hope we here about a new game for AC soonish.
Thank you for the updates
I heard that a shopping centre is coming I heard it going to be a holiday camp site where you start with a tent to a caravan ,to a log cabin all the way to a manner house, I heard they are thinking about having All the transport you get dropped off by taxi, a train for goods and supplies a bout ride to mini games a town centre bit like new leaf.
Skyscrapers and cars sound horrible 😂 Who wants that. I would love to go back to a small town setting since it made animal crossing feel more social. You weren’t a lone wolf on a island in a big ocean. The villagers felt more like a community and your friends were one train ride away. You were literally connected by the train tracks. Making some extra spaces you can visit would be fun to but they need to be smaller to feel personal. Nobody wants animal crossing to turn into sim city.
Having a special extra area that is different for everyone might be a great way to encourage multiplayer too. Like having different fruit having a forest are vs a movie theater/ arcade or a island depending on what kind of town you choose would be a lot of fun. And would give you something unique to do when visiting friend. Same goes for being able to collect mini games from other towns. It gives you something fun to do in multiplayer and the more connections you build the more games you collect.
BOB GANG!!
I subscribed to keep myself and my younger brothers updated on what's happening with Animal Crossing. I'm not looking forward to the new Nintendo console and the possibility of their not being a new Animal Crossing game. Ik a lot of ppl don't like ACNH bc of the building of the island from the ground up, but I really enjoy it. Thank you for this update!!
There will most definitely be a new AC game, don't worry! ACNH was the 2nd best selling switch game of all time.
Don't forget that the switch was released in 2017 and we didn't get ACNH until 2020! I don't think there's ever been an AC game dropped as a title game for a new system, but we've almost always gotten a main line AC game for a new console (r.i.p. the wiiu). So don't lose hope! We waited 7 years from NL to NH 💕
Nintendo plz, we just want a lovechild between New Leaf and New Horizon. ;w; Also the hatecrime against Froggycrossing by making Dobie say that, THE CRIME SIR! He better retire to Froggida to recover from his brainwashing!
Bob's Gang
Thank you for your video 💛💛💛🧡🧡🧡🧡💚💚💚💚💚
Tom nook owns a city now?
These don't sound all that appealing. They could have a small "resort" nearby with a hotel, grocery/convenience store, Gracie's shop, etc... like in HHD. Also a club for the doctor's jokes. 😂
Animal crossing is not the type of game where an urban setting would fit anywhere
We’ll only see IF 2026 even comes💀
Introducing the new game: Ultimate
Bob's Gang.
Gimmie a cat plushie, multiple craft and ability to turn off the soundtrack music and I'd be much happier than with some OTT awful city vibes and a car to drive.
It’s really hard not knowing when and if there will be a new AC game but I still play everyday. Bob’s gang.
Nooooooooo😱😱😱😱
Nah doubt these so hard. Ill just wait for "Animal Crossing: Hello Kitty edition" next year instead of holding off on some leaks that clearly sound sus.
For me, I wanted Terraforming in the next game because I would like more creativity in the new game, it’s so fun to see others players islands and I hope they increase the freedom of creativity to the player
Just my thought, is there anybody else who agrees with me?
Many of these things don’t sound too appealing to me…. Bob’s Gang.
Bobs gang . Thanku for the video 🇦🇺
Ultimate should have been what we got. But it wasn’t. So I am not getting my hopes up. There not doing anything out of the box. Just repackaging product. This is coming from a big animal crossing fan.
Bobs Gang ,.. thank you ❤

Nintendo loves Money and they heard their Players Wishes, at least in Animal Crossing, so - to live in a City would make 0 Sense. People bought more Switches because they wanted different Theme-Islands. A City is a City, cant really change the Theme = less Money for Nintendo.
But i could believe that it was misunderstood and its supposed to mean you could visit a City like on the Wii - that was my Wish for New Horizons. Driving Vehicles was a Wish for many Players, but i really cant imagine what that would do for a Game like this.
Yay I’m first!!!!
I love your weekly updates
