hi so my bichir doesnt like to eat its been 2mos since it doesnt like to eat and i merely realize that my bichir was eating all my fishes's poop and it doesnt even excrete what its eating so what should i do?
They commonly eat their own poop and sometimes they eat fine sand or gravel to help digest their food. They can also didn't eat in period of time because they need more time to digest their food. I only feed my bichir twice a week. Maybe you should feed them with smelly food like chicken meat or chicken liver that has strong smell to attract them to eat.

I really don't agree with feeding live fish, it's crule! In nature I understand that fish eat other fish but this is captivity... The stress the fish must feel being chased around a Small glass box (fish tank) before being eaten alive is horrible. And your tank is very small.
They take thawed sliver sides. Also gravel is a major killer if these fish along with a week lid.so no the best care vidoe of this speices in the world.
@@johnsilver9055 That's also made from live creatures ? Yes, And I love it. I use Hikari sinking carnivore pellets and my bichir's color are stunning (especially the delhezis, endlicheris, and ornas. Not much on the pollis and (some (I hope real) leucistic) senegals (duh)).
