  • What's up railfans! I went all the way to Jacksonville, Florida just to watch trains!
Jacksonville is a city located on the Atlantic coast of northeastern Florida, the most populous city proper in the state and the largest city by area in the contiguous United States as of 2020. It is the seat of Duval County, with which the city government consolidated in 1968.
The Nahunta Subdivision is a railroad line owned by CSX Transportation in Florida and Georgia. The line runs along CSX's A Line from Ogeechee, Georgia, to Dinsmore, Florida, for a total of 129.2 miles (207.9 km). At its north end it continues south from the Savannah Subdivision and at its south end it continues south as the Jacksonville Terminal Subdivision A-Line.[1][2] The line is double-tracked from Folkston, Georgia south. All of Amtrak's Florida service also traverses the line.
    Thanks for watching

Dude, please keep making these. Travel the country! You and your content are underrated. I could be watching 8K rail documentaries but this vlog style is just perfect. Some great trains this trip too.

You have the Nahunta sub the Callahan sub
And NS's GS&F line and then you have the Tallahassee line. Once in Folkston, the Jessup subdivision splits off from the na hunt a subdivision and goes to waycross,GA its just pure awesomeness bro

You should go to Baldwin Florida, just weat of Jacksonville florida. It's a large CSX yard working 24/7 non-stop CSX.

What got me hooked on trains when I was a kid my friends and I would hopping them from Bristol to Levittown or from Levittown to Bristol and every once in awhile over to Trenton and go see the Phillies game in Philly back to Levittown they're always running free rides.
But I live in Jaxs aka Jacksonville Fla now.

Yeah man, Bowden Yard from the south to Moncrief and SImpson yards and vice versa offer some good freight work on a daily basis...work the radios and keep doing good stuff. You'll find Picketville, and points west to Baldwin busy too. And try a camera stand when you can...

As a native Jacksonville resident I can say that I absolutely hate this train crossing bridge. I work downtown and this thing creates traffic nightmares not to mention don’t ever go to Baptist downtown If you’re having an emergency there’s a good possibility you’ll be delayed by a train I can’t imagine how many people have had complications due to this stupid train bridge crossing They should’ve at least where you see that intersection at San Marco made a overhead train crossing and a underground tunnel for vehicles to pass through so you don’t get stuck at that.

Just now watching your year old video of my “home territory”! Great camera work, but the “bumping” of the camera between transitions was a bit distracting! Otherwise, quite entertaining!

Is possible to present your commentary without popping the camera lens all the time? I couldn’t finish your video because of that. What I watched of your video was enjoyable but your constant hand waving and popping the camera lens was a total turn off.
