I'm glad I found your channel keep grinding young brother
I ran the steam loco’s at cedar point for two seasons. 2015 was the first and best season by far. NS still had plenty of variety and a ton of traffic. It was the last year for the road railers and consistently heavy coal traffic. Coming back in 2016 didn’t feel the same. I still love railfanning the area and the Chicago Line but prefer Oak Harbor or Bellevue just because the traffic volumes.
Awesome sightings! You should get a Railcom antenna. Sandusky Bay is an incredible spot to watch trains at. Have a good night!
Thanks for the tip, I'm a look in to it. Thanks! you do the same as well!
nice work!
Sandusky… that’s where Cedar Point is. I’ve been there 1 time in my life, which was back in 1981 when I was 3 years old 😆
One thing I DO remember from those days is Chessie System. We lived next to a very active coal route. The same one that rund through my back yard today, only 2 miles down the tracks eastbound
Maybe the Ex-B&O baltimore-chicago line? It does go thru the Appalachians.
Cool!
I actually just caught a warbonnet at the place where the thumbnail was taken!
Yeah you really have to get a monopod you will be able to move up and down and get the whole train good luck
I live on the NS Chicago Line trough elyria best Line stg

@@gusshadleythelunaticfromar7125 Ohio
Thank you and that would be cool I'd have to check my work schedule.
@@Jordiebwatchingtrains Oh Butler, IN would be good for Railfan Friday. It's a diamond right behind the Butler Bowl in Butler, IN. It crosses the NS Chicago Line and the NS Huntington District which gets about 20-30 trains a day. It's a shared main between CPKC and NS and all the CP trains take the turnout in Butler and head west bit hopefully I meet you in Berea either the 12th 13tu or 14th
Please go to Richmond Virginia
Also where would it be better to railfan? Sandusky or Bellvue
that Kemper rail park in bellvue is pretty nice.
Hey Jordie! What’s the frequency for the Chicago line in Sandusky? This is would help A lot because I’m coming to Sandusky on the 19th! Thanks so much!
10miles east in Vermilion, I had almost 20 in about 6-7 hours, there was track maintenance and some dead periods. (May 27, 2023)
