- What's up railfans! I came to Kansas City, missouri just to watch train. I chose Kansas City because of the Canadian Pacific and kanas city are now merged together and now called cpkc. I went to various locations around Kansas City.
Kansas City
Kansas City sits on Missouri's western edge, straddling the border with Kansas. It's known for its barbecue, jazz heritage and fountains. Downtown, the American Jazz Museum shares a building with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in the historic 18th & Vine Jazz District. The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, with giant shuttlecocks out front, houses nearly 40,000 works of art, from ancient to contemporary collections.
On April 14, 2023, Canadian Pacific (“CP”) and Kansas City Southern (“KCS”) combined to create Canadian Pacific Kansas City (TSX: CP) (NYSE: CP) (“CPKC”), as authorized by the U.S. Surface Transportation Board’s (“STB”) March 15, 2023 final decision, creating the first single-line railway connecting Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

Holley non stop train action wow
That's what I'm saying!
Definitely love the Missouri railfanning. You should come towards the middle of Missouri more if you are ever in the area. Or up to parts on the BNSF Southern Transcon in MO. The great plains and rural spots are very beautiful.
Sweet vid! 😎💪

KC has more tonnage per day than anywhere in the world... BNSF 4 lines, UP 3 lines , NS, CPKC....
I believe it, the trains there were non stop!
That’s what I love about KC.
Santa Fe Junction is one of the said hotspot, if not, *the* hotspot for nonstop train activity.
It's pronounced No Key. Otherwise known as the Joint Agency Yard.
I appreciate that!
