Toyota 4runner power steering pump replacement

What brand pump did you get? Also any update on how it's doing?

Did that solve the problem?
I was doing some donuts in the mud and noticed a grinding noise when turning the wheel, mostly when the car was stopped.
How long did it take you to replace the part and put everything back together?

3-4 hours

No matter what I do, no matter how hard I try, I’ve been working on this for 4+ hours, I’m a mechanic myself with a full toolbox, I cannot for the absolute life of me line the pump back up to put the bolts back in, my hands are gushing blood, so safe to say I’m never buying this car again

I finally got it, if anyone is looking for any tips, my best thing to help would be to actually go through the wheel well and just takeoff the front right tire and behind that little flap of rubber. It is a perfectly clear view to get the pump on and if you put, the second bolt in then you will be able to put the top one in after you pretty hardly pushing the top of the power steering pump
