- This is a time lapse of a sketch that took about 28 minutes in real time at Speedway Auto Wrecking in Dacono, Colorado. I used a Hero M86 fude (or bent) nib fountain pen and a Kuretake water brush filled with diluted Noodler’s Lexington Gray fountain pen ink in an Etchr hot press sketchbook.
I personally would’ve watched the 28 minute long video! I love watching these videos! Great job sir!
This is awesome! More videos of you commentating and teaching please.

Amazing work, It IS lovely to Be able to see how you draw, Thanks for sharing. Could you recommend a fountain Pen?
Nice tip on wash.
Came here from twitter, and I gotta say, I showed speedpaints to my figure drawing class last night and this will be an excellent tool to show others about the artist process. Thanks for posting this and providing insight!

Have you used wash with Payne’s gray?
Yes, I’ve used Daniel Smith Payne’s Gray but I found it to be too cool, more of a gray-blue. The Lexington is a very neutral gray, right down the middle.
