44:10 - how to draw wheels. Tilt the ellipse. Mind is blown. I've just tried this and it's changed my car sketching game! I always mess up wheels and now finally I get why!!!! Thank you Paul (and Brenda)!

Thanks Paul, fantastic demo! I was going to buy some gray markers to add value, but now that I've seen this technique I'm going to do this instead with the gray ink! I can't wait to try it. Your work is so inspiring.

How did that work out? I had the same idea but eventually bought a few cool gray Copics nonetheless 😅

@@retardno002 It's very cool. It has a slight bit of granulation and color separation which shows a little blue when diluted. I think its a neat effect that you really don't get with markers.

@@SarahAndBoston I noticed the turquoise blue feathering but I just don't get along with ink washes, I never seem to get the shade I want. Love this ink to bits, but I prefer it for drawing. 25% water mix in a Noodler's Ahab for the lines, paired with CG1, CG2, and CG4 for the values (the markers give me the consistency I lack with my washes). Touch up with a Noodler's x-feather black in an Isograph at the end to give the correct lines more pop and darken a few shadows. Glad to hear you could make the washes work!

If you use Noodler’s Bulletproof Black, can you dilute it with distilled water? Very good interview, with some wonderful tips. Thank you!

What do you use to mix the ingredients and put in your water brush? I have a serious problem opening the water brush, if anyone has a helpful hint. 😊 I have 3 and can’t open any.
