Look, what really blows my mind when it comes to these "professional grading" companies is that collectors actually respect their grades - and there is so much wrong with that... Look - they have kids - like 20-year-olds grading these cards - I've been in the hobby for 35 years - I don't need some 20-year olds opinion on a cards grade... And look, I'm not saying a 20 year old cant have the same passion for the hobby that I do and they don't have the experience but I think experience matters .. Look, would you rather have the guy that's been in the hobby for 40 years of vintage baseball experience grade your card, or the 22 year old pokimon player/master that has never personally owned a card with corners ... Who would you rather have grade your 57 Mantle? ...... Dude we need to start recognizing individual graders rather than "grading services"... Look, grading cards is always going to be a subjective idea - but obviously when I see a dude with gray hair grading my card - I feel a lot better than I would if the grader was 25, had dark brim glasses and had a stack of Pokymon next to him...
100 percent..SGC kills my vintage Soccer... 'I'm sure some 20ish kid gets my subs and groans out loud...just slap a 1 or 2 on all of them and a dozen A"S For good measure...and get them ut the door ASAP . **Also "comps" on Ebay....SOOO..Ebay is the "A" standard and sets prices? ..ebay of all places?..please. some /if not most will sell cheap I dont know... because the AC bill is due?.......
