with the 51 bowman mantle rookie that card is unique…u siad it had bad centering… for that card most collectors are looking for surface print… no print lines which many have… most have purple print off you can see in the NY of the hat and in the light post the blue sky between the posts is not blue.. plus on lower right the print goes below the black line.. I have a WAY off centered one with a perfect surface.. surface is really most important for that card.. that surface is perfect on that card 15k seems very reasonable...

It's interesting that it's usually all of the iconic names. Need some more high-end prices of ''common'' players, like the ones you show in the junk wax ones lol.

In my opinion Mickey Mantle is the player with the coolest and most iconic cards

I was the person who graded the Prince cards.I have graded over 40,000 cards for SGC I graded the Mickey Mantle that sold for $12,500,000 and the Babe Ruth that sold for 7,200,000.I personally collect non sports cards.

Whoa. Jeff Gordon!? I haven't heard that name in years. So, Adrian Dantley, who is in the basketball hall of fame. He works for my local county schools. He did security work (cross guard) along with recreational high school basketball, too. I believe he still lives near my area.

I have the complete set of 48 Gum Inc 1940 Lone Ranger Cards. I love the art on them. So much detail in the painting. My set is raw and a solid VG+ some might be Ex, I think I have nearly $1900 invested in the set... Hopefully I'll get my money back in the future when I'm ready to sell.

Is there a publicly available checklist out there for the Comic Post cards? I've never seen them either. The name makes it impossible to search for.

Super informative video. I have some random non sports 30s cards that i won in a bulk auction that i need to research. One is a near complete set of cricket players, im presuming england. The other is actors/actresses. Im guessing both are missing the big names but it seemed like a deal haha.

I like the Hitchcock. He also directed the Birds, Vertigo and Rear Window. So, many great movies. An under rated film of Hitchcock, I would recommend if you have not watched, is called ''Rope.''

I am from Germany and i love american cards. I think german pre-war non sports have a place to grow. Pros like you know Liebig, but only few know "Hartwig & Vogel". I am not invested in it only got 4 Sets, I just want to say how beautiful they are

Comc is absolutely ridiculous. Takes them 3 months or more to upload 275 cards and they've been doing it at 1 to 2 cards per day (sometimes).

i’m mostly a sports card collector but i really love these types of non sports cards.. i buy a few here and there and feel like I may start doing more… my main non sports card I have now r 1988 buffaloe bill, first edition pokemon, first edition garbage pail, first walt disney/mickey, rookie superman and multiple supermans from rookie year.. love all those cards...
