the plenums looks the same because they ARE the same!!! what u have is a revup lower plenum which is exactly what the mrev2 is so all u couldve done was clean yours and send the other one back lmao. I learned about this a little while ago
Also, I suggest re-torquing the lower runners after several weeks of heat cycles. All the lower bolts on mine bar one were not to speck when I checked them a month after I did my upper and lower on my HR. Also your torque band will move up due to the increased air volume but decreased velocity. So you will loose about 10ft/p of torque through most of the revs. However the peak torque near to the top of the rev range will be about 10ft/p higher. I was quite dissapointed actually when I first drove mine after the lower runner port. But after the tune and getting used tot the different power band, I'm happy with it. The dog like he all cap he don't know shiit about cars 😂
😂😂😂😂
Ported manifolds are great. Have you had a tune?
Also those lower plenums don't look ported btw, you can tell with the casting marks still there??
Haven’t had a tune yet
Get that tune, my 350z is completely different now. It’s like she woke up. I went to Soho Motorsport. I’m not plugging them, but hell they did good work and they are specialists in the Z and G platforms and they in NC
@@arnoldboats I know about about soho, I’ll be getting a tune after these next few mods. About to upload my stage 5 clutch video
Tbh if ur looking for high hp and torque just live with ur stock vq and save up for a LS swap. Only gon need around 8k for a complete swap. U can get a crate ls for 3-4k and parts for a complete swap are like 4k including exhaust. I would personally invest more for the engine for extended fun time but one out of a truck will hold up very, very well.
LS motors make good power no doubt, but some of us are purist and can't do it. I thought about swapping a LS3 when I first bought the G, but couldn't do it. I'd rather learn this platform by building it. Plus I already have my V8 charger, so gotta switch it up and build a fast v6.
At that point just buy something with an LS
@@aloe9441 you can’t always take the easy route
Hey bro where can I find that same exact crank case breather? I’ve been having trouble with blow back, everyone’s saying because it’s tuned and that’s why my valve cover gaskets keep going out but idk what to do car still runs strong it’s honestly confusing maybe it’s a failed valve cover or a shitty mechanic but I’m replacing the valve covers my self this time and i need advice cuz the tune can’t be that bad right??😭
There’s a specific brand of valve covers to buy for the DE, so they don’t keep blowing. It’s the SKP version. My friend had the same problem with his G & the crankcase breather is here www.c-f-m.com/performanceparts/pc/CFM-Performance-Billet-Valve-Cover-Breather-for-2003-2008-Nissan-350Z-p1663.htm
I need one
The old one says mr1 new says mr2
Yea I notice that when I installed it. It fits though!
It sounds like the lowrider from gta 3
Guys, if your ecu doesn’t know that more air is coming through then there’s no power gain. You have to tune and re tune after every add on. Without a retune you ain’t shit but a laugh to the real tuners
You’re wrong my boi. The car is going to pick up horsepower and torque with each bolt on you install without getting an tune, BUT with an tune the gains will def always be better
Step one buy a vhr
I’ll give you that
You need a tune 😂😂😂 you can’t just slap these parts lol
@@GBKICKS1 everybody knows that bruh, but you need to install the parts before getting an tune 😂.
The cars already come with 330hp tho
The G37, 370, and newer year G35s come with 330-340 crank horsepower. The G35 with the DE motor(one in the video) come with 280hp.
‼️The car is 302 whp from the factory bro 😂
What g35 coupe with a vq35de make 300 wheel from factory bro put me on 😂
@@IsThatGeneral dawg. It says it in the manuals and on google. 280whp for the automatic, 307 whp for the manual version. Hondas are the ones that make less then 250. If your G35 is making less then 300hp it means it either has high mileage and some parts are worn, or you might need a serious retune. Cars lose horsepower over time, you gotta remember these are 20+ year old cars now. The G coupe was made in 2003, and the manual performance model with brembos made 307 hp along with the 350z nismo. My g coupe with 190k miles still makes 293 on the dyno bone stock. After I retuned it, it went to 297, I changed the injectors and fuel pump and got it to 305. All stock parts, 90% of them are OEM. Not hating I fw your build, G’s aswell as Z’s are my favorite car and I work on them regularly. I’m just speaking the core facts of those models.💯 The sedan made a lil less horsepower but it wasn’t under 260.
@@smoke_sum597 I’ve never seen a g35 coupe with the vq35de make 300whp bone stock bro. Maybe the HR, but not the DE. I’ve watched so many others build their DE’s and also had my own VQ club with homies hitting the dyno with mods only making 260/270. It’s a known thing that’s it’s hard to hit 300whp with a DE if you don’t have cams, but go ahead and subscribe for me my boi because I’ll be getting tuned and hitting the dyno after these next three mods. We’re going to see if it’ll hit 300whp & I’m true full bolt on.
