the 5/8 spacer you can put the strut bar whit no problem / also the intake manifold the way you have it is getting very hot air Because is inside the engine unless is getting cool air mine as well keep the stock intake box will definitely get more air from out side If you run the i take inside the engine like that you will wear the engine fast!

Also what I find out that helps with the intake plenum spacer is the throttle body spacer I noticed both work grate on my z

I will partly disagree on one thing you can get the cheaper exhaust and get the same gains but the sound won't be as good unless it is resonated corectly

Think you could put washers on the bolts for the crossbar to make room for the spacer or would it hit the hood when closed?
DANKMANSAM 9000 You absolutely can. The only spacer that doesnt fit with the crossbar is anything bigger than 1/2”.

apparently a Tomei adds decent power I got one on mine
I put 5 stickers on my z tbh man I added 30 pony’s power I felt it
Every sticker adds about 5 hrsprs, so that seems pretty legit to me!

couple of questions ,should i put a Plenum spacer in my car if its a daily?, ive put lots of money into wheel spacing, tires, wheels, lowered suspension, new coil overs only engine upgrade ive done so far is the nismo cold air intake, how much power you think i'm making right now? So yea basically if its fine to do the spacer, im going to get the spacer, new high flow cats, then a tuning chip for the z, how does that sound chronologically?
Grayson Hatton a spacer will absolutely net you gains, usually around 10whp, and is completely safe for daily driving. I would say with the spacer you will be around 240whp. With the HFC’s, an exhaust and tune, you’ll be right around 250 - 265whp.

I have a 06 350z 5AT with the megan racing drift spec exhaust about to install, z1 y pipe jwt pop charger z1 tube and berk Tp’s do you think ill be raspy ? And how much hp gain you think i will get with the uprev tune. Cool channel btw finally someone with a auto 🤯😎
Sounds like you got a good setup! The rasp that you might run into will be from the test pipes. With mine, I ended up replacing the gaskets with the Z1 metal gaskets and adding a high temp RTV to seal them completely. Made a world of difference for me! With your setup, I would say you're looking in the ballpark of around 245 before tune and around 260whp after tune, possibly more!
Rico's Garage so yesterday was tune day came in with 217/tq and 208.2whp , after tune i made 239.6/tq and 231.7whp , why so low 🥺 on dynapack btw
Gee Rackz well first off, congrats on a 23 whp gain. Thats solid without a doubt. Horsepower is based on a bunch of variables, such as ambient air temperature, humidity, density altitude, and the dyno you are using. My car made 283whp on evening, and a month later made 266whp with no change to the parts or tune. The difference was simply because of the heat and humidity. Take a look at some of those factors and see what may have contributed to it.

I'm going to be purchasing a 2003 350z and I'm probably going to get the VQ Boys power pack. If I also add the motordyne plenum spacer how much whp should I get from those mods combined?
I would estimate 15-20whp gain

It’s a great starter platform. Low cost, easy to maintain, and easy to learn. I would absolutely recommend it.

How many hp is your car with all that?
You’ll be at or around 265whp on pump gas. I managed 283whp on e85. Keep in mind this is also with a 5AT. You’ll make more with a 6MT.

Depending on the year, 350Z's were advertised with anywhere from 276hp (DE models) to 306hp (HR models), but these numbers are at the crank, not the wheels. You end up losing horsepower through the drivetrain.
