Thank you so much. I just watched this and I am on the website right now. Currently planning trip to the Maldives, so this was very helpful. I didn't get any Emirates but I did get Etihad. Pretty psyched about it. We flew Emirates to Dubai this past summer, so I would love to experiences Etihad. Thanks for sharing.
I also flew Etihad apartments (twice) and it truly is the pinnacle. Hoping to do Emirates J in a few weeks and Emirates A380 F when a feasible option becomes available.
what's the best way to find availability other than searching each individual day? NYC-DXB search doesn't show emirates for any of the days I checked except Mar 27 which was in your screenshot
We've booked EK DXB to FRA in Aug 2023 in business class on the a380. Got it for 45,000 points each for 4 of us, so very excited for our first EK flight and first a380 trip, and on the upper deck!
I lucked into MEL-DXB-IAD on Emirates A380 (both segments) for 137k AP in October 2023 (13 hour layover in DXB, which is perfect). This follows up our inbound journey of LAX-SIN-MEL-SYD (A350/A380) on SQ. Absolutely cannot wait to try these products out for myself.
I was able to fly on the Etihad Apartments in 2015 for only CAD 2,500 by starting in IST! Ticket was IST-AUH-JFK. IST-AUH was i. their regular first class and AUH-JFK was on the A380 in the First Class Apartments.
I have a question, I am looking to book flight to India from Canada and found Air Canada+ Emirates. Where Emirates allow checking bags with no cost but what about Air Canada. Do I have to pay for extra bags? (Air Canada only allows Cabin bag)!
Would this mean that since emirates is going to be dynamic, they will release all seats for award bookings like Air canada? Or is there still a limit on availability?
should i save my 350k aero for that stuff to try and catch a UFC event next year? i have 28 eupgrades that expire Jan 16th so i was gonna use some pts to try and do the latitude attitude thing. so expensive tho
Great video Ricky. Were going to Dubai in April using Aeroplan pts. Since I heard about Emirates teaming up with aeroplan I’ve been on the phone trying to get through to a live person to see if I can make the switch. Currently we’re flying non stop Toronto to Dubai. My husband thinks I’m crazy wasting my time and effort trying to get through. I just want to experience flying with Emirate. Is it worth the effort 😵💫. PS is it worth purchasing the mixed cabin?
I booked a YYZ-DXB-ABJ (all business class A380 & 777) in April for 55,000 AP points thanks to my Priority Rewards being SE100K. So hyped for this grail flight.
@@PrinceofTravel that's a bummer. I found the 90k airplane point to Dubai but my final destination is Kathmandu Nepal and my flight from Dubai would be I economy, thanks for the reply thou
@@PrinceofTravel This is amazing! I was wondering how you found these dates so quickly? Really appreciate this content. Maybe my once in a lifetime chance to fly emirates business. :)
Aeroplan is not the only program that allows Emirates reward booking. Tap Portugal's miles and go program also allows Emirates reward booking . However there are surcharges but it is lower thank what Emirates charges under skywards program.
There were a ton of spots available when this was first announced a few days ago. Many of the best spots quickly booked up but there's still some available m
@@sams7438 Use cowtool and put one month for that leg. It will show you all the dates available quickly. Its a free service thanks to the generous person who made it happen. As of now I could only see one seat left on April 10th on the A380.
do you know when we can book the one-way flight with a stopover by ourselves??? the last time i called aeroplan, i had to get up at 5 am ( mountain standard time) and waited for 2 hours. thank you.
I booked an etihad business class flight toronto to Bangkok with stopover in abu dhabi for 92.5k points without calling anyone, i just used the website
These Middle East Airlines have no choice but to keep these top notch services and amenities or else no one will fly/go there. However EK think to highly of themself with the redemption rate lol. I still think Qatar Qsuite still better than EK biz
Lol this comment doesnt apply anymore bcoz these airlines have come a long way in proving themselves in more than one ways even if they don't give u any amenities which they are kinna reduced from before u will still fly them for more than many reasons
These Middle East Airlines are way better the all European, American and Canadian Airline and it's by their choice. Very difficult for western people to admite that others are better than them!
This is all great and all, but isn’t there a level of shame when the average churner walks off the first class flight and has to eat at McDonald’s or have instant noodles in the hotel to afford the trip? What are we really doing here?

4:49 Correction: North America - Dubai - Maldives is 115,000 Aeroplan points with a stopover, not 95,000 points, with no fuel surcharges.

Trying to book yyz to dxb very flexible on dates and the direct flight doesn’t seem to be available. Have they changed the rules already?

Awesome advice Ricky. Just booked YYZ -DXB for April 9th 23 on the A380 for 90K each. So stoked for this flight.
Searching the same thing but for May and don't see this point redemption option... Am I doing something wrong? One way
Are you booking economy or business?
One of my favourite airlines now linked to Aeroplan?!?! Wow Christmas came early this year!
Andaz London! Stayed there in June. Great Hotel 🛏

Venny I'm definitely very excited Thanks venny for making the video
Is this CA flights only? Can't find any DFW - DXB - MLE availability
All businesses class seats, one way from Toronto to Dubai showing 300K Aeroplan points. Am I doing something wrong? Thought it's about 110K

Dreams do come true! I can't wait to finally fly Emirates with my Aeroplan points.
That's so nice!! I've just started my journey with points and I'll add that experience to my list.
Do you get lounge access in Dubai arrival
No unfortunately not, if you're connecting onwards in a premium cabin you should though
So if you do a stopover you should get lounge access on a departing flight?
@@bobobgobo I hate that the Barclay's premium $500 Emirates card only gives lounge access for the first year.

Can’t find a single seat YYZ-DXB in Emirates business for April 2023…another great spot that I can’t do
Try April 2, 9, 10, 15, 16! These dates all have space still at the time of this message

Definitely luxury trap trend
PoT: Isn't the partnership with United going to give some of the same opportunities as aeroplane?
Any chance Emirates and Etihad might merge into one airline which will later join Star Alliance?
