He’s back! I got the notification and I literally cheered out loud. My family is looking at me strangely. They don’t understand. The king has returned!
There's nothing wrong with how close together your buildings are. It's actually incredibly realistic. In the old parts of Quebec and Montreal the buildings are touching each other they are so close together. I've seen similar things in London and Paris.
Long awaited indeed! Editing is smooth, music is a nice but not distracting addition, narration is detailed but to the point and of course the city looks incredible! Looking forward to the next one!
OMG it is always worth waiting for a new update. By far my favorite city builder… even considered the waiting time is als a kind of torture 😅 as a train builder I wonder if the building close to the track isn’t to close. A train quickly end’s up 8 wide… love your work!
It's always a pleasure to see your usual excellent work, both in Lego and video-making skills. I agree, the minifigure legs add a really nice touch. Great details all around.
Some of those windows got bricked up due to a window tax back in the day. Another reason is to keep the repeating pattern on the exterior even tho a window could never have been fitted due to internal structures and load bearing.
Hello! New here. Just wanted to say how amazed I am by some of your build techniques and I am glad I stumbled across your channel. Happy building and have a Bricktastic day!
Loving the architectural details in your city, and the fact that it is original designs rather than just a collection of 'official' Lego modulars. Keep up the good work!
I get now why there's so long between each video, didn't realise you were designing them then rebuilding for the video - obvious now really, hahah. Amazing work as always, best LEGO city on TH-cam!
Glad your back! You've come a long way from your original city! :) Also, the foundation for the next build looks like a bank or something with large pillars. Excited to see it!
Literally the highest quality Lego content I see on the internet. Incredible attention to detail, always excited to watch. I love that you take the time you need to produce these videos, the quality pays off every time!
Wonderful completion. The knocked-out corner adds great interest. Would maybe suggest relocating the gutter so it drains from the bottom of the roofline and not the top.
Oh, and a fun fact the reason why so many windows of older buildings are bricked up is because in the 1800's the city of London had a limit on how many windows a building could have.
Yay you’re back, how long’s it been, half a year? Anyway it was definitely worth the wait, your city is amazing and I really like the architecture on this building! Do you think you’ll ever make an interior for it? Either way great update and welcome back 😁 👍
Not that anyone asked, but back in 1800s in England there was a window tax. You paid per window you had so some factories and buildings built over windows to pay less if the room wasn't used much or already had more than window
He’s back! I got the notification and I literally cheered out loud. My family is looking at me strangely. They don’t understand. The king has returned!
sunday morning and the Lion is back...!
Agreed
Apparently not for long cause not many videos after this one which sucks cause I'd be for some new ones

I really hope you will continue with this project. Having so many bricks and so much time invested in it, it's almost a waste not continuing :)
Nice update, mate!
I like you you improved your building techniques over the years.
king has come back 💪❤️🔥
Long awaited indeed! Editing is smooth, music is a nice but not distracting addition, narration is detailed but to the point and of course the city looks incredible! Looking forward to the next one!
Well done!
I would have never thought to add a window boarded up with bricks, but it is an addition that breates a little more life into the build!
That roof turned out amazing. The city itself is coming together nicely
nice build... the Legs, The Roof, the shuttered Window, Cool Ideas...
I was wondering if I was missing updates, but I guess there haven't been any.
Are you okay or just taking a break?
Marvelous work sir 👏
So relaxing

Clever use of the tan legs on the roof!
Some of those windows got bricked up due to a window tax back in the day.
Another reason is to keep the repeating pattern on the exterior even tho a window could never have been fitted due to internal structures and load bearing.

Welcome back to the world of the living

I’ve been waiting so long
Oh, and a fun fact the reason why so many windows of older buildings are bricked up is because in the 1800's the city of London had a limit on how many windows a building could have.

I’m new to the channel but this city is insane!!
Not that anyone asked, but back in 1800s in England there was a window tax. You paid per window you had so some factories and buildings built over windows to pay less if the room wasn't used much or already had more than window
